Description

The invention relates to a dispenser bottle, in particular in overhead construction, with a cap sealingly arranged on a bottle neck of a bottle body.

Such dispenser bottles are known (see, eg EP 1 174 360 ) and enjoy great popularity because of their ease of use.

Just by the overhead construction, that is, by an embodiment of the dispenser bottle, which allows a use position in which the cap is positioned at the lower end of the dispenser bottle, there is the problem of creating a seal between the cap and the bottle neck, which in the long term stays tight. For this purpose, it is known to provide the bottleneck and the cap with mutually corresponding threads, which cause a sufficient contact pressure between the cap and bottle neck in the screwed state. However, threads always have the disadvantage that fluids along the necessary slopes out can crawl out of the dispenser bottle.

As an alternative to screw caps snap closures are known in other bottle shapes, which often realize by the snap connection and a sealing. Experiments have shown that such snap closures are often unable to ensure the extreme requirements of overhead installation to the tightness.

The invention has for its object to provide a dispenser bottle with a suitable for overhead mounting closure.

To solve this problem is provided according to the invention in a dispenser bottle described above, that at least one latching element is formed on the bottle neck, which engages in the use position in a corresponding locking receptacle on the cap and a close concern of the cap on the bottle neck causes on the cap in the circumferential direction offset to the locking receptacle in a peripheral portion of a material weakening is formed and that at the corresponding position of use in the material weakening circumferential position on the bottleneck a support area is formed such that the matieralgeschwächte peripheral portion of the cap rests in the use position on the support area. By forming a material weakening of the cap, it is possible to give the cap sufficient elasticity to snap the locking receptacle over the locking element, and at the same time to provide the cap in the locking recess sufficient stability, so that the connection between locking element and locking receptacle permanently remains stable and does not or only slightly gives way. Through the training of the support area ensures that the cap remains substantially dimensionally stable even in the area of weakening material over a longer period of time. In simple terms, therefore, the material weakening is replenished by the support area as soon as the locking element is positioned in the locking receptacle. As a result, the elasticity of the closure cap in the weakening of the material is neutralized, at least for deformation efforts directed inwards towards the bottleneck. In the use position, therefore, the cap is placed on the neck of the bottle and absorbs it in itself, and a shrinkage of the cap in the weakening of the material is prevented by resting on the support area. Thus, it is easily achieved that the cap can not or only slightly deform over time, so that the closure remains tight over a longer period of time, which makes the dispenser bottle suitable for overhead use.

In order to largely exclude a deformation of the cap by material aging at the material-weakened point, it can be provided that the material-weakened peripheral portion of the cap in the position of use rests flat on the support area. Thus, no cavities are formed between the support region and the closure cap in the area of material weakening.

For a simple assembly is provided that the locking element and the corresponding locking receptacle form a snap connection. The cap is thus no longer nondestructive detachable from the bottleneck after snapping. Thus it can be ensured that the bottle is not refillable. This is remarkable, for example with regard to product liability.

The cap can thus be permanently connected to the bottle body in the mounted position. An insoluble compound is understood to mean a non-destructively releasable connection.

It can be provided that the latching element is designed as a ring segment. Preferably, this ring segment is axially aligned to ensure a uniform distance from an edge of an opening of the bottle neck.

The use of ring segments offers the advantage that a uniform hold of the closure cap can be ensured over a peripheral region of the bottle neck.

For uniform recording of the locking element can be provided that the locking receptacle is formed as a groove segment. Preferably, the groove segment is axially aligned, whereby in the position of use a circumferentially constant distance to the edge of the mouth of the bottle neck can be met.

In one embodiment of the invention can be provided that the cap is attachable to the bottle neck, in particular as a baffle closure. The advantage here is that screw thread on which liquid could crawl along from the dispenser bottle are dispensable. This increases the tightness.

For a uniform development of the contact pressure between the closure cap and the bottle neck, it can be provided that at least two locking elements which are spaced apart in the circumferential direction are formed on the bottle neck and at least two corresponding catch receptacles on the closure cap.

It is particularly advantageous if these locking elements are formed on opposite sides of the bottle neck.

In order to achieve a favorable elasticity of the closure cap in the region of the material weakening, it can be provided that the material-weakened circumferential section is formed in the circumferential direction between two detent receptacles.

Alternatively or additionally, it may be provided that the locking receptacle is formed in the circumferential direction between two material-weakened peripheral portions.

It can thus be achieved that alternate material weakenings and locking receptacles on the closure cap in the circumferential direction. For example, it can be provided that two material-weakened circumferential sections are formed on diametrically opposite circumferential positions on the closure cap.

Overall, a rotationally symmetrical arrangement of latching receptacles and material weakenings on the closure cap or latching elements and support areas on the bottleneck is particularly favorable.

An embodiment of the invention can provide that the support area is designed as a survey. This can be achieved, for example, by forming the support region as material thickening, in particular relative to the regions adjacent in the circumferential direction. A material thickening represents a simple means of forming the support area required according to the invention.

Accordingly, the material-weakened peripheral portion may be formed by material withdrawal. This material withdrawal can preferably be formed on the inside of the closure cap facing the bottleneck. A material withdrawal provides the material weakening required according to the invention in a simple manner.

In an embodiment of the invention, it may be provided that the or each support region in the position of use fills the associated material-weakened circumferential region at least in the circumferential direction and in the radial direction. The advantage here is that the support area can support the material-weakened peripheral area over the entire surface to avoid material deformation by material aging and resulting leaks. It is preferably provided that the support region completely fills the associated material-weakened peripheral region in each case in all three spatial directions.

For a secure positioning of the closure cap on the bottle neck, it may be provided that the bottle neck has an outer surface and the closure cap has an inner surface, wherein the inner surface rests flat on the outer surface in the position of use. This flat contact can be carried out by direct contact or play. The formation of a game offers space for desired or even tolerable deformations of the closure cap due to aging processes.

The outer surface of the bottle neck and the inner surface of the closure cap may describe corresponding cylindrical shapes in which the radii are matched or identical. These cylindrical shapes can by Rastaufnahmen, Locking elements, support areas or material-weakened peripheral portions or the like may be interrupted or broken.

The outer surface of the bottle neck and the inner surface of the closure cap can also describe corresponding other symmetrical, in particular non-circular, shapes.

The outer surface may also be designed conical, wherein the cone tapers in the insertion direction such that a contact pressure between the closure cap and bottle neck is established during the insertion process. Alternatively or additionally, the inner surface of the closure cap can be made conical. In this case, the cone can widen in the insertion direction such that during the insertion process, a contact pressure between the cap and bottle neck is established.

Closure cap or bottleneck can deviate from this cone shape, for example, due to the latching receptacles and material-weakened circumferential sections or the latching elements and support region.

It can be provided, for example, that the cap rests directly on the bottleneck due to their dimensions in the region of the support areas, while in the region of the latching elements a clearance is formed between the closure cap and the bottle neck.

For easy production of the bottle body can be provided that the locking elements or the locking elements is designed as a survey (s) on the outer surface / are.

For easy production of the cap can be provided be that the locking receptacle (s) is introduced as a recess (s) in the inner surface / are.

For a simple support of the closure cap in the material-weakened peripheral region, provision can be made for the support region (s) to be / is formed as a protrusion (s) on the outer surface. For easy accommodation of the support region, provision can be made for the material-weakened circumferential region (s) to be introduced into the inner surface as a recess (s).

Um eine möglichst vollständige Abstützung der Materialschwächung in Gebrauchsstellung zu erreichen, kann vorgesehen sein, dass der materialgeschwächte Umfangsbereich deckungsgleich zu dem korrespondierenden Unterstützungsbereich ausgebildet istIn order to achieve as complete a support of the material weakening in the position of use, it can be provided that the material-weakened peripheral region is formed congruent to the corresponding support region

For a secure hold of the closure cap, the locking element can be formed congruent to the corresponding locking receptacle. The advantage here is that the available for the locking or snap connection peripheral area can be used optimally.

In order to achieve a connection between the closure cap and the bottleneck with the least possible expenditure of force and the lowest possible material stress, provision can be made for the closure cap, at its open end in the direction of insertion, to have an expansion slope upstream of the catch receptacle. The advantage here is that the expansion bevel can be aligned so that it allows expansion of the closure cap for overcutting the locking element during the insertion process.

In addition or alternatively, it may be provided that at the front end of the latching element in the insertion direction, an expansion bevel is formed. These expansion slope can form a flank, which facilitate expansion of the cap during the insertion process.

For a secure hold of the cap on the bottle neck can be provided that at the rear end in the insertion direction of the locking element is formed a snap shoulder. The advantage here is that a snap connection is formed in a simple manner.

In order to facilitate plugging the closure cap in the correct orientation, it can be provided that the support region has at least one threading edge, which is aligned obliquely with respect to the plugging direction. Preferably, the support region has two converging threading edges, whereby an approximately correctly positioned cap is brought into the exact position during the insertion process.

As favorable materials for a long-term dimensional stability of the cap and the bottle body, for example, PET has been found. Accordingly, it can be provided that the closure cap and / or the bottle body is / are made of PET or other materials. It is also conceivable to use two different materials, e.g. Soft to hard (LDPE or HDPE) use.

In order to achieve an exact positioning of the closure cap, in particular during the engagement of the locking receptacle, it can be provided that the support region has a slip-on guide. This slip-on guide is preferably aligned parallel to the insertion direction.

For a tight closure between the bottle body and the closure cap, a circumferential or sealing surface aligned radially or with respect to the closure cap can be formed on the neck of the bottle, which surface area rests on a corresponding sealing surface of the closure cap.

Alternatively or additionally, it may be provided that on the inside of the cap a circumferential sealing collar engaging in an opening of the bottle neck is formed with a peripheral sealing wall facing the bottle neck, wherein the sealing wall forms an encircling seal with an inner wall of the bottle neck. In combination of the sealing wall and the sealing surface, there is even a further increase in tightness. If the sealing wall is conical, wherein the cone tapers in the insertion direction such that a contact pressure between sealing collar and bottleneck is established during the insertion process, this results in a particularly long-term stable sealing.

It can be provided that the bottleneck and / or the closure cap is / are formed with a non-circular cross section, in particular with an oval or polygonal cross section. The cross section can be arranged transversely to the direction of insertion of the closure cap and the neck of the bottle. This is an advantage over the known screw caps, which necessarily have to have a round cross-section.

The invention will now be described in detail with reference to an embodiment, but is not limited to this embodiment. Further embodiments result from combining one or more features of the claims with each other and / or with one or more features of the embodiment.

Fig. 1 shows a designated throughout with 1 dispenser bottle in three-dimensional exploded view.

The dispenser bottle 1 has a closure cap 2 and a bottle body 3. On the bottle body 3, a bottleneck 4 is formed, on which the closure cap 2 is plugged for closing the opening 5 of the bottle neck 4.

Before plugging is in the opening 5 in Fig. 2 and Fig. 3 apparent valve element 6 is used.

The dispenser bottle 1 is shown in the overhead position, which represents the position of use of the dispenser bottle 1 and in which the closure cap 2 is arranged and positioned below the bottle body 3.

The cap 2 has in its top surface 7 a downwardly directed outlet opening 8 for the liquid contained in the dispenser bottle 1.

The outlet opening 8 is provided with a in Fig. 2 and Fig. 3 apparent valve plunger 9 of the valve element 6 is closed in order to prevent leakage of the liquid from the outlet opening 8.

The valve stem 9 is suspended by means of elastic spring elements 10 on actuating wings 11.

The actuating wings 11 are fixed by webs 12 to a retaining ring 13.

At the radially inner ends of the webs 12, a valve stem 9 circumferential guide ring 14 is provided.

The retaining ring 13 is inserted with the actuating wings 11 and the valve stem 9 in advance in the opening 5 of the bottle neck 4 and held by support projections 15.

Thus, the valve element 6 rests with its retaining ring 13 on the holding elements 15. If the closure cap 2 is plugged onto the bottle neck 4 in the manner of a baffle closure in order to reach the position of use, the in figure 5 and 6 closer visible annular sealing lip 44 on the retaining ring 13, so that the retaining ring 13 is pressed against the support projections 15.

In this way, the valve element 6 is held and clamped with its retaining ring between the bottle neck 4 and the attached cap 2.

The length of the valve stem 9 and the shape of the actuating wings 11 and the spring elements 10 are selected so that the valve stem 9 is pressed when placing the cap 2 into the interior of the bottle body 3. Thus, the valve stem 9 by the spring force of the spring elements 10 on a bias and automatically closes the outlet opening eighth

Federnd ausgebildete Sicherungsvorsprünge 20 an den Betätigungsflügeln 11 verhindern ein Herausfallen des Ventilelements 6 aus der Öffnung 5.Spring-trained securing projections 20 on the actuating wings 11 prevent the valve element 6 from falling out of the opening 5.

A positioning projection 16 on the bottle neck 4 and a corresponding positioning recess 17 (FIG. Fig. 5 ) fix the valve element 6 in a position about the axis of the valve stem 9, in which position the actuating wings 11 contact the side walls 18 of the bottle body 3 from the inside. For this purpose, the bottle body 3 has an oblong-oval base surface and two mutually opposite side walls 18.

In this way, the outlet opening 8 can be released by being pressed from the outside on the side walls 18, whereby the actuating wings 11 are moved towards each other. By this movement, the valve stem 9 is pulled out of the outlet opening 8. Once the pressurization of the side walls 18 stops, the valve stem 9 by the Spring action of the spring elements 10 returned to its closed position.

Due to the described constant pressure load of the side surfaces 18 for emptying the dispenser bottle 1 and the overhead assembly 4 particularly high demands are placed on the seal between the cap 2 and the neck 4, which must be maintained over a long period.

The pot-shaped or designed as any other symmetrical shape cap 2 is this pressed onto the bottle neck 4 in the insertion direction 19, wherein the circumferential side wall 18 in the end position of the insertion process with the bottleneck 4 form a tight seal.

In order to hold the cap 2 in this end position, latching elements 21 are formed on the bottle neck, which engage in corresponding latching receptacles 22 and thus prevent the cap 2 from slipping off. As in Fig. 4 and Fig. 6 it can be seen, the locking elements 21 are formed as ring segments on diametrically opposite sides of the bottle neck 4.

Each of the ring segments extends in the circumferential direction 23 of the bottle neck 4 over more than a quarter circle.

The locking receptacles 22 are formed in the closure cap 2 as Nutsegmente. Each of the locking receptacles 22 has the same length in the circumferential direction as the corresponding locking element 21, so that each locking element 21 fills the associated locking receptacle 22 in the circumferential direction 23 over the full length.

Accordingly, 2 groove segment-shaped locking receptacles 22 are formed on diametrically opposite sides of the cap 2, as in Fig. 8 and by comparing the 90 ° rotated about the axis of the valve stem 9 axial sections according to Fig. 5 and Fig. 6 is apparent.

Somit ist jeweils zwischen zwei Rastaufnahmen 22 ein Umfangsabschnitt 24 ausgebildet und die Umfangsabschnitte 24 und die Rastaufnahme 22 wechseln sich in Umfangsrichtung 23 ab.Offset in the circumferential direction 23 to the locking receptacles 22 and thus between two locking receptacles 22 each a material weakening 25 is formed in a peripheral portion 24. Thus, in each case between two locking receptacles 22, a peripheral portion 24 is formed and the peripheral portions 24 and the locking receptacle 22 alternate in the circumferential direction 23 from.

At the circumferential position 26, which corresponds in the position of use to the material-weakened peripheral portion 24, a support region 27 is in each case formed, on which the material-weakened peripheral portion 24 rests in the use position, ie when assembled cap 2. There are thus formed on the bottleneck 4 a total of two support areas 27 on opposite sides of the bottle neck 4.

As in Fig. 5 is shown, the material weakening 25 is achieved by a material withdrawal 28 with respect to the material thickness in the region of the locking receptacles 22. In this way, a recess 36 is formed, into which the respective support region 27 engages and which of these support region 27 fills at least in the radial direction and circumferential direction 23.

For this purpose, the support region 27 is formed as a survey relative to the outer surface 29 of the bottle neck 4. The survey is formed by a material thickening.

The material withdrawal 28 is for this purpose correspondingly introduced into the inner side 30 of the closure cap 2 facing the bottleneck 4.

In the position of use, the support region 27 fills the material take-back 28 at least in the circumferential direction and radially completely.

To achieve a tight seal, the outer surface 29 and inner surface 30 may describe a cylindrical shape or any other symmetrical shape whose respective radii are matched to one another to provide a press fit or a clearance fit.

It can also be provided that the outer surface 29 is conically tapered in the direction of the opening 9 and that the inner surface 30 describes a corresponding cone, which opens in the insertion direction 19.

How out Fig. 6 It can also be seen that a fit with play can also be provided between the outer surface 29 and the inner side 30, at least in the regions adjacent to the cap edge 31, so that the inner surface 30 rests flatly on the outer surface 29, but with play, in this region.

The locking elements 21 are also formed over the outer surface 29 as elevations.

Accordingly, the locking receptacles 22 are introduced as recesses in the inner surface 30 of the cap 2.

Entsprechendes gilt für die Steckrichtung 19 der Verschlusskappe 2.In the insertion direction of the locking receptacles 22 is disposed in front of the described by the cap edge 31 open end in Fig. 8 apparent expansion bevel 32 is formed, which with a trained in the direction of insertion 19 front end of the locking element 22 expansion bevel 33 cooperates such that the closure cap 22 is widened in its circumference during insertion until the locking element 22 engages or snaps into the associated locking receptacle. Here, the plug-in direction 19 is defined so that in the insertion direction 19 upstream elements with the bottleneck 4 during insertion first come into contact. The same applies to the plug-in direction 19 of the cap 2.

At the rear and in the insertion direction 19 rear end of the latching element 21 is formed a plug-in direction 19 substantially perpendicularly extending snap shoulder 34 which prevents snapping back and releasing the snap connection. Since the support areas 27 and the associated material-weakened peripheral portions 24 must be brought into coincidence when plugged together - and also the locking elements 21 and the associated locking receptacles 22 - two Einfädelkanten 35 are formed by bevels on the support areas 27. The recesses 36 formed by the material weakenings 25 have corresponding chamfers 37.

As by comparing the Fig. 5 and Fig. 6 , which each show 90 ° rotated axial sections, it can be seen, the side wall 18 of the closure cap 2 by the material withdrawal 28 in the peripheral portion 24 has a lower material thickness than in the peripheral portion 38, which contains the locking receptacle 22.

The desired elasticity in the mating of the snap connection on the one hand and the desired dimensional stability during use of the dispenser bottle on the other hand are best achieved by the geometry described when the Cap 2 and the bottle body 3 are made of PET or other material.

To guide the support portion 27 into the recess 36 and corresponding to the locking elements 21 in the associated locking receptacles 22 are on the support portion 27 - and at the identical support portion 27 on the opposite side of the bottle neck 4 - in each case two aligned parallel to the insertion direction 19 Aufsteckführungen 39 formed which cooperate with corresponding slip-on guides 40 on the closure cap 2 and perform a precise axial guidance, in particular in the section of the insertion process in which the detent elements 21 are pressed into the detent receptacle 22.

At the bottleneck 4 an annular circumferential sealing surface 41 is formed, which is radially and thus aligned with the cap 2 out.

On the closure cap 2, an annular peripheral sealing surface 42 is formed, which is aligned radially and thus facing the bottle neck 4 in the use position. In latched position of the cap 2 on the bottle neck 4, the sealing surface 42 is flat and annular circumferential and thus close to the sealing surface 41. Thus, the dispenser bottle 1 is sealed at the connection between the cap 2 and bottle body 3.

The closure cap 2 also has on the inside a sealing collar 43, which also rotates in the circumferential direction 23 and which engages in the use position in the opening 5.

Radially on the outside of the sealing collar 43 is a cylindrical or in the insertion direction 19 tapered conical sealing wall 44 is provided. This sealing wall 44 rests with an attached cap 2 on an inner wall 45 in the circumferential direction 23 circumferentially and flat, so that a circumferentially circumferential seal 23 is formed.

Thus, along the creepage distance from the interior of the dispenser bottle 1 to the outside, which extends between the bottle neck 4 and cap 2, two annular seals are formed one behind the other.

In the dispenser bottle 1 is provided on a bottleneck 4 in the circumferential direction 23 alternately locking elements 21 and support areas 27 and provided on a cap 2 the locking elements 21 corresponding locking receptacles 22 for producing a snap connection between cap 2 and bottleneck 4 and the support areas 27 corresponding material-weakened peripheral portions 24th form, wherein in the mounted position, the material-weakened peripheral portions 24 rest flat on the respective support areas 27.
