Description

The invention relates to a condensate collection container for a tumble dryer which is removably disposed in the device housing and on its upper side has an opening through which the condensate is introduced and poured out during emptying, wherein arranged in the opening into the condensate tank into a projecting tubular insert as Überschwappsicherung and pouring is.

Such a condensate collection is from the DE 100 23 230 C1 known. The tumble dryer is formed with an air-cooled condenser. The resulting condensate is pumped by means of a condensate pump in the condensate collection tank, which is arranged drawer-like pull-out in the control panel. On the top of the condensate collection container, an opening for the inlet of the condensate is arranged. The condensate collector is also emptied through this opening. In the opening a tubular insert is arranged, which serves as Ausgießhilfe and as Überschwappsicherung during jerky pulling out of the condensate collection container. The insert projects into the condensate collection container almost to the bottom of the container. The tubular insert dampens the swirling movement of the condensate that occurs when the condensate collector is withdrawn. In this embodiment, however, remains after emptying a small residual amount of condensate in the container.

From the DE 31 19 354 A1 a condensate collection container is known, which is formed with an arranged in the opening Überschwappsicherung, which is also designed as a pouring. The Überschwappsicherung or pouring is designed as a tubular insert, which can take a withdrawn and an inserted detent position in the opening. In the retracted detent position, the insert serves as Überschwappsicherung and in the pulled-out detent position as pouring. With this design, the complete emptying of the condensate collection tank should be possible. However, the pouring aid must be pulled out of the first detent position with an additional work step.

From the DE 195 05 607 C1 a condensate collection is known, the opening for the inlet of the condensate is closed by a spring-loaded closure that closes the opening when pulling out the condensate collection container, so that no condensate spills out and enters the inside of the device. The condensate is emptied through this opening. For this, the closure must be held by hand in the open position. In this embodiment, the closure does not slide when pulling out the condensate collection tank always fast enough into the closed position, so that the condensate can reach the inside of the device due to the surge in the container.

The invention thus has the problem to make the opening for the inlet and the emptying of the condensate such that when pulling out of the condensate collection no condensate can pass into the interior of the device due to the surge in the container and a complete emptying of the condensate collection without additional steps such. the retention of a closure in the open position or the withdrawal of a pouring aid is possible.

According to the invention, this problem is solved by a condensate collection container having the features of patent claim 1. Advantageous embodiments and further developments of the invention will become apparent from the following subclaims.

The achievable with the present invention consist in particular in that with the use of an accurate pouring of the condensate is possible because the cascaded arranged and gradually increasing in the direction of the pouring edge baffle sections dampen the surge of the condensate within the insert and the surface in the manner of a slosh basket divide into several areas. The baffles of the insert, which are guided almost to the container bottom, dampen the swirling movement of the condensate within the condensate collecting container. A complete emptying of the condensate collection container is ensured by the arrangement of the pouring in a rear corner of the condensate collection tank.

On the top of the condensate collection container 1, an opening 6 for the inlet of the condensate is arranged. The condensate collector 1 is also emptied through this opening 6. In the opening 6, a tubular insert 7 is arranged, which serves as Ausgießhilfe and as Überschwappsicherung during the jerky withdrawal of the condensate collection container 1 from the guide 3 of the device housing 4.

The pouring region 8 is arranged in a corner region of the condensate collecting container 1. The pouring region 8 comprises the circular opening 6 arranged at the level of the upper side of the condensate collecting container 1 into which the insert 7 is inserted. The insert 7 rests with its support edge 9 on the upper edge of the opening 6. The edge of the opening 6 is surrounded approximately circumferentially by a deeper overflow trough 1. The insert 7 has a circular sector 11 partially covering the opening 6. The side edges 12 of the circular sector 1 are guided on the underside, starting from the support edge 9 to the circle center 13, on the length of the tubular insert 7 as baffles 14 to approximately the bottom of the condensate collection container 1. In the region covered by the circular sector 11, a vent for the condensate collecting tank 1 is integrated with a completely filled container and an overflow. The vent and the overflow are shown in Figure 6 in the direction E. The angle of the circular sector 11 is preferably 90 °. About the overflow channel 10 exiting the overflow from the vent condensate is directed into the guide 3 of the condensate collection tank 1 and passes through a return not shown back to the condensation device.

Figure 4 shows a partial section of the condensate collection container 1 according to section line A - A (see Fig. 3) with the insert 7. The tubular insert 7 is formed to approximately the base of the condensate collection container 1 protruding.

The baffles 14 form with the rest of the pipe wall portion 15, the Überschwappsicherung 14, 15, the dampening movement of the condensate in the container 1 attenuates the jerky withdrawal of the condensate collection container 1 from the guide 3. The ascending in the Überschwappsicherung 14, 15 amount of condensate is damped in the movement by a plurality of annularly arranged and stepped baffle sections 16, so that a spill from the insert 7 out is also prevented. The baffle sections 16 are cascaded and thereby divide the surface of the condensate into multiple areas. Each baffle section 16 has a water breakaway edge 17, which in conjunction with the outer spoiler edge 18 of the support rim 9 a targeted pouring of the condensate is possible. The baffle sections 16 are formed in the direction of the pouring edge 18 increasing in steps.

In the figure 5 the insert is shown as a detail in section along section line A -. The contour 19 of the lower edge of the insert 7 is adapted to the container wall of the condensate collection container 1, the formation of which is caused by the adaptation of the container 1 to the space in the device. As a result of this adaptation, a position assurance for the insert 7 is realized, since the insert 7 can be inserted into the opening 6 of the condensate collecting container 1 only in an optimal pouring position. The insert 7 has below the support edge 9 a locking groove 20 into which the edge of the opening 6 engages and fixes the insert 7.

In the figure 6, the vent with the overflow in the direction of E (see Figure 3) is shown. The overflow channel 10 is subdivided into two drainage regions 10 'and 10 "in the region of the circular sector 11 by a web 21. The tubular insert 7 has a recess 22 on the right and left sides of the web 21 in the upper edge region, via which the condensate collecting container is vented or which forms the overflow.
