Definitions
- the invention relates to a spray head for atomizing a medium having the features of the preamble of claim 1.
- a spray head is placed on a spray can and triggered by a simple pressure on an actuating mechanism, so that the medium is discharged in a spray.
- a valve is known in which the medium is atomized by a capillary tube without a nozzle or atomized.
- the known valve is designed for flow rates of 0.5 g / s to 0.01 g / s.
- the WO 03/051522 A1 describes how to dimension the capillary tube of the valve in order to spray the atomized medium. Result of the use of the capillary tube is that at atmospheric pressure only a volume ratio of 1:50 to 1: 5000 for the ratio of medium to propellant gas is required. Thus, little propellant is needed and the spray can be designed with a small volume.
- nozzle-free atomization of liquid media by means of a capillary tube has been known for decades ( US 2,592,808 A ).
- a Sprühkopfisson a holding device having an inlet opening, an adjoining, closed channel portion and an adjoining bent by 90 ° holding portion.
- the holding device also includes an actuating element of the spray head body, which forms the complementary component to the holding section.
- the channel element designed as a capillary tube is nozzle-less and leads to a nebulization of the medium by the transport in the capillary tube and the exit from the same.
- the actuator and the holding portion are pressed by a tension spring up against a stop. Thereby, the actuator and the holding portion are held in abutment against each other. Only in this way is the channel element fixed in the holding section. This has mounting technical disadvantages because it must be mounted under the pressure of a tension spring practically. These difficulties in assembly strike particularly because a designed as a capillary channel element is damaged quickly irreparable. The reject rate during assembly of such a spray head should be high.
- the teaching is based on the problem of optimizing the known, previously explained spray head assembly technology.
- the described construction with at least one clamping element allows the channel element, in particular the capillary tube, to be fixed in advance in the holding section of the holding element, ie to be clamped or latched, and thus to handle the channel element together with the holding element during assembly without it is damaged. It is also possible to first mount the retaining element. Then, the channel element can be easily inserted into the channel portion of the support member and then jammed or locked in the holding section. Also in this respect, therefore, a prefixing takes place.
- the teaching of the invention is realized in that the holding portion has at least one pair of jaws comprising the channel member.
- the channel element protrudes at the upper end over the holding portion, as it is already the case at the starting point.
- the holding section has at least one opening on a side facing away from the bend.
- the retaining element preferably has a closed channel section running in the longitudinal direction of the spray head body into which the channel element is inserted. Furthermore, the retaining element preferably has a cylindrical receiving portion for a seat of a valve. Conveniently, the channel portion has one or more circumferential retaining projections, which clamp the channel element without reducing its inner diameter.
- the holding element additionally has a projection which has a rear wall running in the longitudinal direction of the spray head body, which is arranged approximately in the region of the holding section.
- the rear wall has at the side facing away from the outlet opening a recess which is bounded laterally by walls facing away from the outlet opening.
- the spray head body has a projection facing the retaining element, which bears flat against the rear wall of the projection in the recess on the side walls.
- the spray head body has at least one second projection, which rests against the rear wall on the side facing the outlet opening.
- the spray head body has at least one contact surface, which bears against the retaining element. The force is transmitted from the actuating element via the holding element to the valve via the contact surface.
- the spray head body preferably has connecting means which hold the retaining element in this.
- the connecting means have two mutually facing projections with projecting lugs, which engage behind the holding element near the outlet opening of the channel element.
- the connecting means are preferably designed as snap means, so that the holding element can snap into the SprühkopfMech with the inserted channel element.
- Fig. 1 shows a cross-section through the spray head according to the invention with a spray head body 10, a holding member 12 and a channel member 14.
- the spray head body 10 has a mounting ring 16 with inwardly projecting projections 18 with which the mounting ring 16 to a spray container (not shown) can be attached.
- the spray head body 10 further has an actuating element 20 with an actuating trough 22.
- the holding element 12 has an inlet opening 24, a subsequent channel section 26 and a subsequent holding section 28.
- the holding section 28 is bent by 90 ° and is additionally supported by a wall 30.
- the holding element 12 also has a projection 32 with a rear wall 34 (see also Fig. 2 to 5 ).
- the projection 32 is open on its side facing the actuating recess 22 side.
- a channel element 14 Inserted into the holding element 12 is a channel element 14 in the form of a capillary tube.
- the capillary tube 14 is used for atomization of the mixture of medium and blowing agent, wherein the mixture may have further constituents.
- the capillary tube 14 is not necessarily made of the same plastic material as the support member 12 and / or the spray head body 10, but may be made of a softer and more flexible material.
- FIG. 3 shows the holding member 12 with the channel portion 26.
- the channel portion 26 has in the region of the inlet opening 24 a portion having a retaining projection 36 for receiving a valve seat.
- the retaining projection 36 is followed by a cylindrical holding section 38. Subsequently, the diameter widened in a portion 39 and is subsequently limited by a holding portion 40 which widens conically on the side facing away from the inlet opening 24 side.
- the channel portion 26 further has a receiving region 42 for the capillary tube 14.
- the capillary tube 14 is in the inserted state on the projection 36.
- the end facing away from the inlet opening 24 of the channel portion 26 has a conical extension 46, to which the projection 32 connects to a rear wall 34.
- the approach 32 has approximately cuboid shape, cf. Fig. 4 wherein the rear wall 34 is bounded by two side walls 35 to form a recess. In the inserted state, the capillary tube 14 is guided through the projection 32.
- the holding portion 28 is then angled at approximately 90 ° to the conical extension 46. How out Fig. 5 it can be seen, the holding portion 28 is formed open at the side facing away from the bend, wherein a recess for receiving the channel member 14 forms with a rounded base. Spaced apart from one another, three clamping elements 50 extending in the longitudinal direction of the holding element 12 are provided in the holding section 28 in the form of projections which hold the inserted capillary tube 14 in the holding section 28 by longitudinal ribs 51.
- Fig. 6 the spray head body 10 is in the cut Fig. 1 shown in perspective.
- the projection 52 projecting into the spray head body 10 and abutting against the rear wall 34 is cut centrally.
- the projection 52 is connected at the rear to a wall 53 projecting from the spray head body 10 in the longitudinal direction of the holding portion 28.
- a projection 54 visible at the outlet opening which extends like the wall 53 in the direction of the holding portion 28 and in Fig. 8 is shown from the front.
- a second projection 55 Adjacent to the projection 52, a second projection 55 is provided which extends parallel to the first projection 52, but is shorter.
- the projection 52 has a wedge-shaped in cross-section. In the assembled state, the rear wall 34 is located between the projections 52 and 55, whereby the holding member 12 is held securely even when actuated.
- Fig. 8 shows a detailed view in the region of the outlet opening 62 with a slot 63.
- Snap tabs 56 define a partially circular opening.
- the retaining element 12 is snapped and held in the region of the holding portion 28 near the outlet opening between the snap lugs 56.
- Lead 54 (see. FIGS. 6, 7 ) abuts the channel element 14 from above.
- Slit 63 facilitates, on the one hand, the mounting of the retaining element 12 and, on the other hand, allows viscous media to flow back to a droplet forming at the opening of the channel element 14 and not to dry in the channel element 14.
- Fig. 7 shows a section through the spray head body 10.
- two spaced-apart projections 58 are provided, each having on their sides facing each other contact surfaces 60 in the form of a paragraph.
- the projection 52 protrudes beyond the projection 32 and rests flat against the rear wall 34.
- the projection 58 has two locking elements 59, each with a contact surface 60, which bear against the side wall of the projection 32.
- a force is exerted on the actuating recess 22. Via the projection 58 and the contact surface 60, the force is transmitted to the projection 32 and presses the retaining element 12 onto the valve.
- the locking elements 59 hold the retaining element laterally.
- the Valve opens and the mixture of medium and propellant gas enters the capillary tube 14, where the medium to be applied is atomized. Via the outlet opening 62, the current exits and the medium is sprayed. Once the force is no longer exerted on the actuating trough 22, the valve closes and the spraying process is completed.
Description
US 2,592,808 A ).

Fig. 2 bis 5 ).
Fig. 2 bis 5 zu entnehmen.Fig. 3 zeigt das Halteelement 12 mit dem Kanalabschnitt 26.
- In
Fig. 7 zeigt einen Schnitt durch den Sprühkopfkörper 10.
