Definitions
- connection profile strip in particular soffit connection profile strip
- profile body with a frame attachment side for attaching the strip to a frame or rail component, in particular a door or window frame or a roller blind rail, via an adhesive surface.
- Such moldings are mostly used to produce a transition between a window or door frame or a roller blind rail and the adjoining wall, with known connection profiles are either plastered, or serve the inclusion of cladding panels or the like.
- connection profiles are either plastered, or serve the inclusion of cladding panels or the like.
- conditionally moisture can migrate into the transition region, for example out EP 1 285 143 B1 a profiled strip known, on the profile body, a sealing lip of a soft, deformable material, which is softer than the profile body forming material, is formed. This sealing lip is laterally from the profile body to the frame mounting side down.
- a foam tape provided with a lower free adhesive surface over which the profile bar on the door or window frame or the rail can be determined.
- the sealing lip is in the mounting position on the door or window frame or the rail, and extends from the profile body slightly bent towards the door or window frame. It lies loosely on the door or window frame or the rail, the force that causes the sealing effect, which thus holds the sealing lip on the door or window frame, resulting solely from the assembly-related slight bending of the sealing lip. From the front, located at the free end of the sealing lip bearing point of the sealing lip to the foam tape or the adhesive layer, an open cavity extends.
- connection profile strip which provides a high degree of tightness at the transition to the frame or rail component without a specially shaped sealing lip.
- connection profile strip of the type mentioned that a deformable soft material existing edge portion of the profile body in the area of the component mounting side at an angle less than 90 ° in the edge expires and executed the component mounting side in the region of a glue layer-free edge portion in that at least the edge, or the edge, and at least part of the edge portion lie in the plane of the adhesive layer or beyond it.
- the seal to the door or window frame or the rail is realized solely by the profile body itself, which is specially designed for this purpose in the area of the mounted in the assembly position, for example, the masonry edge and the frame mounting side.
- the profile body-side edge portion in this edge-side body portion is made of soft material and runs at an angle ⁇ 90 ° in the edge.
- This edge also limits the component mounting side on which the adhesive layer is provided, whether it is applied directly to the component mounting side, or with the interposition of a foam tape.
- the adhesive layer extends approximately to the edge, only a very narrow adhesive layer-free edge portion of the component mounting side is free of adhesive coating.
- the edge and preferably also at least a part of the adhesive layer-free edge section, is therefore located in, preferably slightly beyond, the adhesive plane, but in the immediate vicinity of the adhesive layer.
- edge portion In addition to an angled or curved design of the edge portion, it is also conceivable that this easily from the mounting plane, parallel to this, perform protruding, so that he also together with the edge in or beyond the adhesive plane, but parallel to this.
- the profile strip sits on the adhesive layer in firm adhesion to the frame or rail component, while the soft edge or the soft edge portion rests firmly, flat and tight on the door or window frame or the rail.
- this sealing edge portion is held in any case with high force in its contact with the frame or the rail.
- Lifting is, after this edge sealing portion is barely movable after bonding, almost excluded, as well as any aging-related material changes to the outstanding seal do not change, as stated as a result of the almost immediate edge-side bonding is always given a sufficient sealing force.
- the profile strip according to the invention allows a visually highly attractive, at the same time highly dense and in any case, aging and weather-resistant connection to the door or window frame or roller blind rail.
- This profile body formation according to the invention in the edge region can be realized on only one side of the profile body.
- the angle of an edge section can be between 30 ° -80 °, in particular between 40 ° -60 ° and preferably between 45 ° -55 °, wherein it is expressly pointed out that all intermediate intervals are considered to be essential to the invention.
- the width of the adhesive layer-free edge section should be between 1 and 5 mm, in particular between 2 and 4 mm, whereby it should be as small as possible and should preferably be in the range of about 1 to 2 mm. Again, all intermediate values are essential to the invention.
- the profile body has a section consisting of a first hard material and a second section comprising a soft second section which has the frame attachment side and the edge section or sections.
- the first profile body portion made of the hard material is provided, for example with one or more corresponding Einputzstegen, or has the corresponding clamping legs for receiving cladding panels or the like. It is thus located on the side facing away from the frame or the rail side.
- the second, soft profile body portion as will be discussed below, be designed in different ways, but in any case has the component mounting side and the soft edges or on the edges.
- this soft profile body portion is a mobility of the component mounting side or the entire second profile body portion with respect to the first profile body portion or associated with this plaster layer or cladding panel or the like, whereby corresponding movements between the component and plaster or cladding panel, etc. are compensated.
- both longitudinal and transverse displacements of the second soft profile body section, which is defined by the adhesive layer on the component, with respect to the first, fixed to the plaster layer or the like first profile body portion are possible, so that all conceivable relative movements between the frame and plaster layer or cladding panel can be compensated, without causing cracking or detachment, especially in the area of the edge-side seal to the component.
- a first concrete embodiment of an invention consisting of different soft profile body sections strip provides that the first portion has a first leg, on which the second portion via at least one connecting web, on which a component mounting side exhibiting second leg is provided, is arranged.
- the profile strip has two separate legs, wherein the first leg as executed, for example, has the Einputzstege or clamping webs, while the second soft leg on its underside the component mounting side and laterally, for example, has an edge portion, preferably merges into the connecting web with its outside , It is particularly expedient if two spaced connecting webs are provided, which enclose a hollow chamber between them.
- connecting webs are therefore as well as the second leg made of soft material, so they form a quasi-U-shaped cross section and include in conjunction with the first leg a hollow chamber.
- the soft connecting webs offer the already described above displaceability of the two legs parallel and perpendicular to each other to realize the damping function as described above.
- the webs may be substantially parallel to each other, but also at different angles to each other.
- a further alternative of the invention provides that a first connecting web connects the first and the second leg directly and that two connecting webs connecting the two legs are provided, but intersecting to form a plurality of hollow chambers.
- the two intersecting connecting webs form a kind of damping cross, which in conjunction with the first connecting web in this case enables the parallel and vertical displacement of the legs with respect to each other.
- the outside of the one or an outer connecting leg is at an angle> 90 °, in particular between 100 ° - 150 ° to the first leg of the first section and passes directly into the edge portion.
- An edge portion is thus determined here in its shape directly via the web outside and the adhesive layer-free component mounting side of the second leg, which run pointedly to each other in the edge. Again, all intermediate angle intervals are disclosed as essential to the invention.
- the second soft portion is formed from solid material and connects over the entire surface of the first leg of this.
- the second section is thus a solid material body, which is shaped, for example, with its free outer side running in the edge at an angle> 90 °, in particular between 100 ° - 150 ° to the first leg.
- due to the softness of the material also a relative movement of the frame mounting side with respect to the first leg is possible.
- a profile strip according to the invention provides that only the edge portion or portions of a soft material, while the rest of the profile body is made of a hard material.
- the profile body is almost completely made of hard material, no relative movement or deformability of the profile body itself possible, while nevertheless, after an edge portion which adjoins directly to the adhesive surface is made of soft material and runs in the edge, for the sufficient sealing towards the component ensures.
- the adhesive layer directly on the component mounting side of the profile body, for example in the form of a sheet adhesive application, which is covered by a peelable masking tape, or in the form of a double-sided adhesive tape, with one side Adhesive is glued to the component mounting side and on the other side the adhesive surface, which is protected by a peelable masking tape has.
- the adhesive tape should be very thin, and regardless of the adhesive tape thickness there is always excellent sealing and adhesion after the sealing edge lies at least in the adhesive layer plane, but preferably beyond the adhesive layer plane.
- the component mounting side can also be designed stepped and arranged in the stepped recess a the adhesive surface exhibiting or the adhesive surface exhibiting adhesive tape carrying foam tape, wherein the or the adjoining the step recess edge portions of the component mounting side run into the edge ,
- the profile body is formed profiled on its underside, so that the closed-cell foam tape can be integrated into the stage.
- the materials used are various types of plastic. Useable as hard material is a hard PVC and as soft material a soft PVC. Alternatively, a hard PU can be used as a hard material and a soft PU as a soft material. Both materials can be adjusted according to their hardness or elasticity properties, so that depending on the requirements profile in particular the elasticity of the soft material can be selected appropriately.
- a laterally extending Folienanklebesteg is provided on the profile body on one or both sides, which is connected to the profile body, in particular the hard first section via a material weakening, a predetermined breaking point or a perforation.
- a film which, if an inventive Folienanklebesteg is provided on the profile body, are attached directly to this can, so that when plastering or when setting, for example, the reveal panel damage to the window or door is excluded.
- the film is removed and the Folienanklebesteg on the separation point, realized via a material weakening or a predetermined breaking point or perforation separated, so that only the outer side of the profile body can be seen. It is expedient if at least one in the mounting position to the component outwardly supporting projection is provided on the side facing the component mounting side of a Folienanklebesteg so that in the mounting position of the door or window frame or rail slightly spaced Folienanklebesteg is securely supported on the component and the film can be pressed firmly to the Folienanklebesteg.
- any work aids such as one or more legs, as Einputzschenkel or as clamping legs for receiving a plate-shaped trim part or for receiving or attaching reinforcing inserts, fabrics or other plaster-enhancing materials serve, or to provide a plaster holder, in particular in the form of a surface profiling or a plaster removal edge.
- the list is not exhaustive.
- Fig. 1 shows a component in the form of a window or door frame 1, and a window or door 2 in a conventional manner.
- a connection profile strip 3 according to the invention is glued on which a Folienanklebesteg 4 projects to the soffit inside, on which a film 5 is glued to protect the window or the door.
- the profile strip 3 according to the invention also has two plaster webs 6, which are plastered in a plaster layer 7 in the example shown.
- the basic use of such a soffit connection profile is known in the art and need not be explained in detail.
- the profile rail 8 has a profile body 9 consisting of a first profile body portion 10 made of a hard material, such as hard PVC or hard PU, comprising a first leg 11, and from a second profile body portion 12 a soft material, depending on the material used in the first section of a soft PVC or a soft PU.
- a plastering web 13 with a tissue profile 13a (fabric core) arranged thereon is provided on the first profile body section 10; the first leg 11 has a plastering aid 14 in the front region in the form of a surface profiling.
- On the first section 10 is also a Folienanklebesteg 15 via a material weakening 16, over which the web can be separated after assembly provided.
- the Folienanklebesteg shows a projection 15a, with which it is supported on the component. Shown is also the adhesive layer 17th the Folienanklebestegs 15, which is covered by a not shown peelable masking tape.
- the second soft profile body section comprises two connecting webs 18, 19 and a second leg 20 connected via the connecting webs to the first leg 11, the connecting webs 18, 19 and the first leg 11 and the second leg 20 enclosing a hollow chamber 21.
- the connecting webs 18, 19 are made of a soft plastic material, they offer a damping possibility, that is, the second leg 20 is displaceable parallel and perpendicular with respect to the first leg 11, thus compensating for any relative movements between the frame and the plaster layer or the like can be.
- the first connecting leg 19 extends at an angle ⁇ > 90 °, here about 125 °, from the underside of the leg 11. He or his outer side 22 runs directly into an edge portion 23, which necessarily consists of soft material and an edge 24th which is bounded on the other side by an edge portion 25 of the frame attachment side 26 of the second leg 20, wherein the edge portion 25 is free of adhesive coating, that is, the attachment to the frame adhesive layer 27 extends over the entire surface of the component mounting side 26, except the very narrow edge portion towards the edge 24.
- the angle ⁇ , which has the edge portion 23 is in the example shown about 55 °, but can take any angle between preferably 30 ° - 80 °.

- this angle or the length of the edge portion 25 is selected so that the edge 24 is at least in the plane of the adhesive layer 27, but preferably beyond this, the edge portion thus also runs out of the adhesive layer plane and is partly beyond this.
- the adhesive layer-free edge portion 25 is dimensioned as narrow as possible, preferably its width is about 1 - 2 mm, but can, if necessary, depending on the dimensions of the entire Profils also be slightly larger.
- the adhesive layer 27 thus extends approximately to the edge 24, wherein these or the edge portion 23 can be easily deformed upon application to the frame as a result of the angled guide of the edge portion 25 after they protrude.
- the edge section then runs parallel to the adhesive layer plane and preferably beyond it. He would not be angled here.
- the cover strip not shown in detail is first removed from the adhesive layer 27, after which the profile strip 8 is glued and pressed onto the frame 1 with the adhesive layer 27. Subsequently, for example, the Folienanklebesteg 15 can be bent slightly upwards to drive for final and secure fixation, for example, with the thumb along the outside 22 and to press on this, as shown by the arrow P in Fig. 3. As a result, the entire profile is pressed firmly against the frame 1 again in each case in the edge region, and thus it is also ensured that in particular the edge region of the adhesive surface 27 is firmly connected to the frame 1.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a connection profile strip, in particular soffit connection profile strip, with a profile body with a frame attachment side for attaching the strip to a frame or rail component, in particular a door or window frame or a roller blind rail, via an adhesive surface.
The disadvantage of such an arrangement that the sealing lip rests relatively easily on the door or window frame or rail, so therefore can be easily lifted. There is also the problem that, as a result of inevitably occurring temperature change or any solar radiation, etc., the material properties of the sealing lip change, the lip becomes brittle, it deforms irreversibly and may be different from the frame or the rail, so that they alone the deformation-related, free edition resulting sealing effect can no longer meet.
The invention is therefore based on the problem of specifying a connection profile strip, which provides a high degree of tightness at the transition to the frame or rail component without a specially shaped sealing lip.
To solve this problem is inventively provided in a connection profile strip of the type mentioned that a deformable soft material existing edge portion of the profile body in the area of the component mounting side at an angle less than 90 ° in the edge expires and executed the component mounting side in the region of a glue layer-free edge portion in that at least the edge, or the edge, and at least part of the edge portion lie in the plane of the adhesive layer or beyond it.
In the profile strip according to the invention, the seal to the door or window frame or the rail is realized solely by the profile body itself, which is specially designed for this purpose in the area of the mounted in the assembly position, for example, the masonry edge and the frame mounting side. The profile body-side edge portion in this edge-side body portion is made of soft material and runs at an angle <90 ° in the edge. This edge also limits the component mounting side on which the adhesive layer is provided, whether it is applied directly to the component mounting side, or with the interposition of a foam tape. In any case, the adhesive layer extends approximately to the edge, only a very narrow adhesive layer-free edge portion of the component mounting side is free of adhesive coating. It preferably runs slightly angled or curved with respect to the plane of the Adhesive layer into which he runs or over which he runs out. The edge, and preferably also at least a part of the adhesive layer-free edge section, is therefore located in, preferably slightly beyond, the adhesive plane, but in the immediate vicinity of the adhesive layer.
In addition to an angled or curved design of the edge portion, it is also conceivable that this easily from the mounting plane, parallel to this, perform protruding, so that he also together with the edge in or beyond the adhesive plane, but parallel to this.
In the mounting position, therefore, the profile strip sits on the adhesive layer in firm adhesion to the frame or rail component, while the soft edge or the soft edge portion rests firmly, flat and tight on the door or window frame or the rail. After the adhesive layer stretches almost directly to the edge and thus therefore the support or sealing area, this sealing edge portion is held in any case with high force in its contact with the frame or the rail. Lifting is, after this edge sealing portion is barely movable after bonding, almost excluded, as well as any aging-related material changes to the outstanding seal do not change, as stated as a result of the almost immediate edge-side bonding is always given a sufficient sealing force. Overall, therefore, the profile strip according to the invention allows a visually highly attractive, at the same time highly dense and in any case, aging and weather-resistant connection to the door or window frame or roller blind rail.
This profile body formation according to the invention in the edge region can be realized on only one side of the profile body. Alternatively, it is also conceivable to form the edge portions on both opposite profile body sides in the manner according to the invention, so that the high sealing is achieved on both sides, which may be necessary in certain applications.
The angle of an edge section can be between 30 ° -80 °, in particular between 40 ° -60 ° and preferably between 45 ° -55 °, wherein it is expressly pointed out that all intermediate intervals are considered to be essential to the invention.
The width of the adhesive layer-free edge section should be between 1 and 5 mm, in particular between 2 and 4 mm, whereby it should be as small as possible and should preferably be in the range of about 1 to 2 mm. Again, all intermediate values are essential to the invention.
With regard to the specific embodiment of a connection profile strip according to the invention, different embodiments are conceivable. According to a first expedient embodiment, the profile body has a section consisting of a first hard material and a second section comprising a soft second section which has the frame attachment side and the edge section or sections. The first profile body portion made of the hard material is provided, for example with one or more corresponding Einputzstegen, or has the corresponding clamping legs for receiving cladding panels or the like. It is thus located on the side facing away from the frame or the rail side. The second, soft profile body portion, as will be discussed below, be designed in different ways, but in any case has the component mounting side and the soft edges or on the edges. About this soft profile body portion is a mobility of the component mounting side or the entire second profile body portion with respect to the first profile body portion or associated with this plaster layer or cladding panel or the like, whereby corresponding movements between the component and plaster or cladding panel, etc. are compensated. In this case, both longitudinal and transverse displacements of the second soft profile body section, which is defined by the adhesive layer on the component, with respect to the first, fixed to the plaster layer or the like first profile body portion are possible, so that all conceivable relative movements between the frame and plaster layer or cladding panel can be compensated, without causing cracking or detachment, especially in the area of the edge-side seal to the component.
A first concrete embodiment of an invention consisting of different soft profile body sections strip provides that the first portion has a first leg, on which the second portion via at least one connecting web, on which a component mounting side exhibiting second leg is provided, is arranged. Thus, the profile strip has two separate legs, wherein the first leg as executed, for example, has the Einputzstege or clamping webs, while the second soft leg on its underside the component mounting side and laterally, for example, has an edge portion, preferably merges into the connecting web with its outside , It is particularly expedient if two spaced connecting webs are provided, which enclose a hollow chamber between them. These connecting webs are therefore as well as the second leg made of soft material, so they form a quasi-U-shaped cross section and include in conjunction with the first leg a hollow chamber. The soft connecting webs offer the already described above displaceability of the two legs parallel and perpendicular to each other to realize the damping function as described above. In this case, as an alternative to using only two spaced connecting webs, which are provided on the profiled body sides, it is also conceivable to provide three or more mutually spaced connecting webs next to one another, which thus connect the first and the second leg to one another and which include a plurality of hollow chambers. In this case, the webs may be substantially parallel to each other, but also at different angles to each other. A further alternative of the invention provides that a first connecting web connects the first and the second leg directly and that two connecting webs connecting the two legs are provided, but intersecting to form a plurality of hollow chambers. The two intersecting connecting webs form a kind of damping cross, which in conjunction with the first connecting web in this case enables the parallel and vertical displacement of the legs with respect to each other.
It is particularly expedient if the outside of the one or an outer connecting leg is at an angle> 90 °, in particular between 100 ° - 150 ° to the first leg of the first section and passes directly into the edge portion. An edge portion is thus determined here in its shape directly via the web outside and the adhesive layer-free component mounting side of the second leg, which run pointedly to each other in the edge. Again, all intermediate angle intervals are disclosed as essential to the invention.
As an alternative to forming the profile strip with two separate legs, which are connected to one another via one or more connecting webs, it is also conceivable that the second soft portion is formed from solid material and connects over the entire surface of the first leg of this. The second section is thus a solid material body, which is shaped, for example, with its free outer side running in the edge at an angle> 90 °, in particular between 100 ° - 150 ° to the first leg. In this embodiment, due to the softness of the material also a relative movement of the frame mounting side with respect to the first leg is possible.
Another embodiment of a profile strip according to the invention provides that only the edge portion or portions of a soft material, while the rest of the profile body is made of a hard material. In this last embodiment, after the profile body is almost completely made of hard material, no relative movement or deformability of the profile body itself possible, while nevertheless, after an edge portion which adjoins directly to the adhesive surface is made of soft material and runs in the edge, for the sufficient sealing towards the component ensures.
As already stated in the introduction, it is possible to apply the adhesive layer directly on the component mounting side of the profile body, for example in the form of a sheet adhesive application, which is covered by a peelable masking tape, or in the form of a double-sided adhesive tape, with one side Adhesive is glued to the component mounting side and on the other side the adhesive surface, which is protected by a peelable masking tape has. The adhesive tape should be very thin, and regardless of the adhesive tape thickness there is always excellent sealing and adhesion after the sealing edge lies at least in the adhesive layer plane, but preferably beyond the adhesive layer plane.
As an alternative to the direct arrangement of the adhesive layer on the component mounting side, the component mounting side can also be designed stepped and arranged in the stepped recess a the adhesive surface exhibiting or the adhesive surface exhibiting adhesive tape carrying foam tape, wherein the or the adjoining the step recess edge portions of the component mounting side run into the edge , In this embodiment, which offers a damping possibility, for example, in conjunction with an exclusively hard profile body and only a soft, elastic edge portion, the profile body is formed profiled on its underside, so that the closed-cell foam tape can be integrated into the stage.
The materials used are various types of plastic.
Advantageously, a laterally extending Folienanklebesteg is provided on the profile body on one or both sides, which is connected to the profile body, in particular the hard first section via a material weakening, a predetermined breaking point or a perforation. After mounting the profile strip and before applying the plaster layer usually the door or the window is covered with a film, which, if an inventive Folienanklebesteg is provided on the profile body, are attached directly to this can, so that when plastering or when setting, for example, the reveal panel damage to the window or door is excluded. After completion of the work, the film is removed and the Folienanklebesteg on the separation point, realized via a material weakening or a predetermined breaking point or perforation separated, so that only the outer side of the profile body can be seen.
As already described, it is conceivable on the profile body, in particular the first hard leg, any work aids such as one or more legs, as Einputzschenkel or as clamping legs for receiving a plate-shaped trim part or for receiving or attaching reinforcing inserts, fabrics or other plaster-enhancing materials serve, or to provide a plaster holder, in particular in the form of a surface profiling or a plaster removal edge. The list is not exhaustive.

Fig. 1 shows a component in the form of a window or
The
The second soft profile body section comprises two connecting
Visibly, the first connecting
As can be seen, the
To set the
In addition to the connecting
The operation of this
Fig. 6 shows a further profiled
The
A further embodiment according to the invention of a profiled
A further embodiment according to the invention of a profiled
Unlike in the previously described embodiments, the two-
Auch hier wird eine beidseitige Abdichtung ermöglicht.FIG. 12 shows a further embodiment of a
All described embodiments are merely exemplary in nature. In particular, of course, there is the possibility to choose the appropriate work aids such as Einputzschenkel, plaster holders, fabric profiles (fabric piping), etc. arbitrarily and to provide as needed and ausgestalten can. Also, it is not mandatory to perform the respective outer side of the profile body, which runs to the edge, straight, it may, for example, be curved towards the profile body. Common to all embodiments, however, is the respectively provided profile body edge section of soft, elastic material, which is preferably guided with its edge and the adhesive layer-free edge section part adjacent thereto beyond the adhesive layer plane. The sealing effect is here alone by the corresponding configuration of the profile body itself or the edge portion realized in connection with the reaching almost to the edge adhesive bond to the frame or rail part, the disadvantages, as they are connected from the formation of a profile body away extending sealing lip are not given in all described embodiments of the profile strip according to the invention.
