  • such devices include a housing for the applicator element which communicates with the interior of the container in the storage position.
  • EP 1 020 135 describes for example a device of this type in which the applicator element is carried by a closing element of the container, the latter comprising a housing that can accommodate the applicator element when the container is closed by the closure element which is screwed on the container.
  • the housing communicates permanently with the interior of the container.
  • the patent application European EP 1 193 188 also discloses a device of this type in which the applicator element is this time secured to a support member pivoting relative to the container between a closed position in which the application element is received in a housing and a position use. Again, in the closed position, the housing containing the application element is in permanent communication with the interior of the container.
  • patents US 5,085,347 and US 6,000,633 disclose product spraying devices that can assume a use position and a storage position in which the product can not be sprayed. In the position of use, these devices allow product spraying by means of a nozzle which is not configured to be brought into contact with the surface on which the product is sprayed, the device remaining at a distance from the surface to be treated.
