    qu'il est prévu une passerelle STM pour l'adaptation d'au moins une interface du système de protection des trains (ATP X) à une interface STM du profibus, la passerelle STM remplaçant des annexes de protocole de paquets de données du système de protection des trains (ATP X) par des annexes de protocole spécifiques au profibus.
