Abstract

Ce procédé et ce dispositif permettent d'échantillonner l'état (b) du trafic sur une route cible à des intervalles déterminés le long de cette route. La séquence de données d'échantillonnage ainsi obtenue est divisée en une pluralité de blocs (bloc 1, bloc 2, bloc 3) et les données échantillonnées contenues dans les blocs sont codées par transformation orthogonale par blocs. Etant donné que les données codées sont décodées par blocs, la charge programme de décodage et de codage est réduite et une mémoire de service présentant un volume peu important peut être utilisée pour le traitement.
