Claims (5)

  1. Verkehrsinformationssystem, umfassend:
    mindestens einen Radar- oder Lasersensor, der in einem Fahrzeug positionierbar ist, wobei der Sensor gestaltet ist, um Radar- oder Lasersignale zu empfangen und das Vorhandensein und die Art eines Radarsignals oder Lasersignals zu detektieren;
    eine in einem Fahrzeug positionierbare Zentraleinheit mit einer Datenspeichereinheit;
    eine sichtbare Anzeigeeinheit, die in einem Fahrzeug positionierbar und gestaltet ist, um als eine Benutzerschnittstelle zwischen der Zentraleinheit und einem Bediener zu wirken;
    wobei die Zentraleinheit gestaltet ist, um genannte Signale zu analysieren und Nachrichten als Reaktion auf die analysierten Signale zu erzeugen;
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das System ein modulares System ist und mindestens einen mit der Zentraleinheit gekoppelten adressierbaren Bus und mindestens eine mit einem Ende des Busses verbundene Patch-Box umfaßt;
    genannte Patch-Box ein Mittel zum lösbaren Anschließen einer Vielzahl von Sensoren, Sendern und ergänzenden elektronischen Komponenten aufweist;
    genannte Zentraleinheit gestaltet ist, um alle Sensoren und Sender und ergänzende elektronische Komponenten, die mit dem Bus gekoppelt sind, automatisch zu detektieren und zu verwenden;
    und genannter mindestens eine Radar- oder Lasersensor in der Patch-Box montiert ist und dadurch mit der Zentraleinheit über den Bus gekoppelt ist.
  2. System nach Anspruch 1, ferner enthaltend eine Vielzahl von abklemmbaren elektrischen Komponenten, die mit der Patch-Box gekoppelt sind, einschließend Sensoren, die gestaltet sind, um einen großen Bereich von Signalen zu empfangen, und Sender, die gestaltet sind, um einen großen Bereich von Signalen zu senden.
  3. System nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, ferner enthaltend eine Vielzahl von Patch-Boxen jeweils mit einer Vielzahl von abklemmbaren elektrischen Komponenten, die mit den Patch-Boxen gekoppelt sind, wobei die elektrischen Komponenten Sensoren, die gestaltet sind, um einen großen Bereich von Signalen zu empfangen, und Sender enthalten, die gestaltet sind, um einen großen Bereich von Signalen zu senden.
  4. System nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche 1 - 3, ferner enthaltend eine Soundprozessoreinheit mit einer Datenspeichereinheit, die mit der Zentraleinheit lösbar gekoppelt ist, um Klänge und gesprochenen Text als Reaktion auf eine von der Zentraleinheit vorgenommene Entscheidung zu erzeugen.
  5. System nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche 1 - 4, ferner enthaltend einen Standardheimcomputer mit einer Computerschnittstelleneinheit, die gestaltet ist, um die Anzeigeeinheit und eine Datenspeichereinheit für die Manipulation und Übertragung von Information zwischen der Datenspeichereinheit der Anzeigeeinheit und dem Standardheimcomputer aufzunehmen.
