Description
- Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine wasserdampfdurchlässige und wasserdichte Laufsohle für Schuhwerk.

EP 0 959 704 B1 beschreibt eine zweilagige Laufsohle mit einer elastischen wasserdampfdurchlässigen Innenlage und einer Außenlage, welche weniger als 70 % der Innenlage abdeckt. Die Innenlage ist vorzugsweise mikroporös, wodurch ein ungehinderter Wasserdampftransport gewährleistet wird. Als Material für die Innenlage wird vorzugsweise gesinterter Kunststoff oder ein Filz, Vlies, Gewebe oder Gewirke aus Kunststoff verwendet, wobei als Kunststoff insbesondere Polyester, Polypropylen oder Polyethylen zum Einsatz kommt. In einer weiteren Ausführungsform wird die Mikrostruktur der Innenlage derart gestaltet, dass sie zusätzlich hydrophobe Eigenschaften aufweist und dadurch wasserdicht wird. Dies wird durch eine entsprechende Herstellung des gesinterten Kunststoffes realisiert, z.B. durch Bearbeitung von gesintertem Polyethylen im hoch- oder ultrahochmolekularen Zustand. Die inEP 0 959 704 B1 beschriebene Laufsohle weist aber folgende Nachteile auf: - Die Außenlage der Laufsohle besteht aus abriebstabilen Kunststoffen, wie z.B. Polyurethan oder Polyvinylchlorid. Jedoch sind diese Kunststoffe wasserdampfundurchlässig. Um die Laufsohle zusätzlich wasserdampfdurchlässig zu machen, muß man gemäß
EP 0 959 704 B1 die Außenlage öffnen und über die Öffnungen auf der zum Fuß gewandten Seite die bereits erwähnte wasserdampfdurchlässige Innenlage anbringen. Somit erzwingt die inEP 0 959 704 B1 erteilte Lehre einen zweilagigen Aufbau der Laufsohle, wodurch ein Herstellungsaufwand resultiert, der größer ist als bei einer einlagigen Sohle. - Die Wasserdichtigkeit der Innenlage ist nur solange gewährleistet, wie die Laufsohle nicht mit Tensiden benetzt wird. Tritt der Träger eines Schuhs mit besagter Laufsohle in eine tensidhaltige Wasserpfütze, sind die Kapillarkräfte der Mikroporen aktiviert mit der Folge, dass die Wasserdichtigkeit der Laufsohle dauerhaft verloren geht. Um dies zu verhindern, muß oberhalb der Innensohle eine wasserdampfdurchlässige und wasserdichte Membran aufgebügelt werden. Die Innensohle bewirkt den Schutz der empfindlichen Membran vor einer mechanischen Zerstörung. Um die Wasserdichtigkeit der Laufsohle auch beim Kontakt mit Tensiden zu gewährleisten, erzwingt somit die in
EP 0 959 704 B1 erteilte Lehre sogar einen dreilagigen Aufbau der Sohle, wodurch der Herstellungsaufwand für die Sohle nochmals erhöht wird. - Daher stellt sich die vorliegende Erfindung die Aufgabe, eine Laufsohle zur Verfügung zu stellen, wodurch die vorstehend beschriebenen Nachteile zumindest reduziert werden.
- Dies Aufgabe wird gelöst durch eine wasserdampfdurchlässige und wasserdichte Laufsohle für Schuhwerk, wobei die Laufsohle eine Mischung aus
- a) einem Polymer ausgewählt aus der Gruppe der thermoplastischen Kautschuke,
Gummen, Polyvinylchloride, Polyurethane, thermoplastischen Polyurethane, Ethylvinylacetate oder Latices und - b) bezogen auf das Volumen der Laufsohle 10 bis 80 Vol.-% eines Copolymeren
- Überraschenderweise wurde gefunden, dass die erfindungsgemäße Laufsohle - obwohl nur einlagig ausgebildet - gleichzeitig ausreichend abriebfest, wasserdicht und in höherem Maße wasserdampfdurchlässig ist als eine Laufsohle, die nur aus einem der unter a) genannten Polymeren besteht.
- Da die erfindungsgemäße Laufsohle keine zweite Außenlage benötigt, steht die gesamte zur Straße gewandte Außenoberfläche der erfindungsgemäßen Laufsohle für die Ableitung des zwischen der Trittfläche des Fußes und der Innenfläche der Sohle gebildeten Wasserdampfs zur Straßenseite zur Verfügung. Auch die Außenkante der erfindungsgemäßen Laufsohle wirkt beim Transport von Wasserdampf, der sich zwischen der Trittfläche des Fußes und der Innenfläche der erfindungsgemäßen Sohle bildet, mit.
- Das aus der Gruppe der hydrophilen Polyetherester, Polyetheramide oder Polyetherurethane ausgewählten Copolymer ist porenfrei. Daher existieren keine Kapillarkräfte, welche tensidhaltiges Wasser von der Staßenseite durch die Sohle in die Trittfläche des Fußes saugen könnten. Folglich können tensidhaltige Wasserpfützen der Wasserdichtigkeit der erfindungsgemäßen Laufsohle nichts anhaben. Dadurch entfällt die Notwendigkeit, die Wasserdichtigkeit der erfindungsgemäßen Laufsohle durch eine auf der Fußseite der Sohle aufzubringende wasserdampfdurchlässige und wasserdichte Membran abzusichern.
- Wie bereits erwähnt, umfasst die erfindungsgemäße Laufsohle 10 bis 80 Vol.%, bevorzugt 10 bis 70 Vol.-% und besonders bevorzugt 10 bis 50 Vol.-% eines Copolymeren ausgewählt aus der Gruppe der hydrophilen Polyetherester, Polyetheramide oder Polyetherurethane. Für Einsatzbereiche der erfindungsgemäßen Sohle, in denen es vordringlich auf eine möglichst hohe Wasserdampfdurchlässigkeit ankommt, wird man einen Copolymeranteil bevorzogen, der an der vorstehend genannten Obergrenze orientiert ist, während für Einsatzbereiche der erfindungsgemäßen Sohle, in denen es vordringlich auf eine lange Gebrauchsdauer ankommt, ein Copolymeranteil bevorzugt wird, der sich an der vorstehend genannten Untergrenze orientiert.
- In einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform weist die erfindungsgemäße Laufsohle nach außen Öffnungen auf, die zur Innenseite der Laufsohle mit Sohlenmaterial verschlossen sind, wobei die Innenseite als eine geschlossene Deckschicht ausgebildet ist.
- Die Dicke der Deckschicht, welche die Laufsohle nach innen verschließt, sollte einerseits möglichst gering sein, um eine möglichst hohe Wasserdampfdurchlässigkeit zu ermöglichen, darf aber andererseits nicht zu klein sein, damit die erfindungsgemäße Laufsohle unter Gebrauchsbedingungen einen ausreichenden Widerstand gegen eindringendes Material, z.B. in Gestalt von Steinen, Scherben oder Nägeln gewährleistet. Somit muß die Dicke der Deckschicht, welche die Laufsohle nach innen verschließt, größer als Null mm sein. Eine Dicke der Deckschicht, welche die Laufsohle nach innen verschließt, im Bereich von 0,02 bis 10 mm und besonders bevorzugt im Bereich von 0,02 bis 1,00 mm erfüllt die eben genannten Anforderungen bei einer Vielzahl von Gebrauchsbedingungen.
- Der prozentuale Anteil der Querschnittsfläche der Öffnungen zur Deckschicht hin bezogen auf die Deckschicht kann in einem breiten Bereich gewählt werden. Eine Querschnittsfläche der Öffnungen zur Deckschicht hin von 30 bis 80 % der Deckschicht, besonders bevorzugt von 30 bis 70 % der Deckschicht ist für eine Vielzahl von Gebrauchsbedingungen geeignet.
- Wenn besonders hohe Anforderungen an die Abriebfestigkeit der erfindungsgemäßen Laufsohle gestellt werden, kann die Laufsohle nach außen hin mit einem besonders abreibfesten Material beschichtet sein, welches ebenfalls die o.g. Öffnungen frei läßt.
- Im folgenden werden Ausführungsbeispiele der erfindungsgemäßen Laufsohle anhand von Zeichnungen näher erläutert. Es zeigen:

- Fig. 2 zeigt eine Vergrößerung von Ausschnitt B der erfindungsgemäßen Laufsohle 1 von Fig. 1 mit Öffnungen 3 nach außen, die zur Innenseite A der Laufsohle 1 mit Sohlenmaterial 2 verschlossen sind, wobei die Innenseite A als eine geschlossene Deckschicht ausgebildet ist. Die Öffnungen weisen die Form eines an seiner Spitze abgeschnittenen Kegels auf, dessen Durchmesser sich von der Innen- zur Straßenseite hin vergrößert.
- Die Dicke d der Deckschicht, welche die Laufsohle 1 nach innen verschließt, sollte einerseits möglichst gering sein, um eine möglichst hohe Wasserdampfdurchlässigkeit zu ermöglichen, darf aber andererseits nicht zu klein sein, damit die erfindungsgemäße Laufsohle 1 unter Gebrauchsbedingungen einen ausreichenden Widerstand gegen eindringendes Material, z.B. in Gestalt von Steinen, Scherben oder Nägeln gewährleistet. Somit muß die Dicke der Deckschicht, welche die Laufsohle 1 nach innen verschließt, größer als Null mm sein. Eine Dicke d der Deckschicht, welche die Laufsohle 1 nach innen verschließt, im Bereich von 0,02 bis 10 mm und besonders bevorzugt im Bereich von 0,02 bis 1,00 mm erfüllt die eben genannten Anforderungen bei einer Vielzahl von Gebrauchsbedingungen.
- Fig. 2a zeigt eine Draufsicht auf die Innenseite A einer erfindungsgemäßen Laufsohle 1 von Fig. 1 aus Sohlenmaterial 2 mit schraffiert dargestellter Querschnittsfläche 3' (Kontur gestrichelt gezeichnet) der Öffnungen 3 zur Deckschicht hin. Die Querschnittsfläche 3' der Öffnungen zur Deckschicht hin wird vorteilhafterweise so bemessen, dass die Querschnittsfläche 3' der Öffnungen 3 zur Deckschicht hin 30 bis 80 %, besonders bevorzugt 30 bis 70 % der Deckschicht beträgt.
- Fig. 3 zeigt eine Vergrößerung von Ausschnitt B einer weiteren erfindungsgemäßen Laufsohle 1 mit Öffnungen 4 nach außen, die zur Innenseite A der Laufsohle 1 mit Sohlenmaterial 2 verschlossen sind, wobei wiederum die Innenseite A als eine geschlossene Deckschicht ausgebildet ist. Die Öffnungen weisen die Form eines gleichschenkligen Trapezes auf, dessen Durchmesser sich von der Innen- zur Straßenseite hin vergrößert.
- Fig. 3a zeigt eine Draufsicht auf die Innenseite A der erfindungsgemäßen Laufsohle 1 von Fig. 3 aus Sohlenmaterial 2 mit schraffiert dargestellter Querschnittsfläche 4' (Kontur gestrichelt gezeichnet) der Öffnungen 4 zur Deckschicht hin. Die Querschnittsfläche 4' der Öffnungen zur Deckschicht hin wird vorteilhafterweise so bemessen, dass die Querschnittsfläche 4' der Öffnungen 4 zur Deckschicht hin 30 bis 80 %, besonders bevorzugt 30 bis 70 % der Deckschicht beträgt.
- Fig. 4 zeigt eine Vergrößerung von Ausschnitt B einer weiteren erfindungsgemäßen Laufsohle 1 mit Öffnungen 5 nach außen, die zur Innenseite A der Laufsohle 1 mit Sohlenmaterial 2 verschlossen sind, wobei wiederum die Innenseite A als eine geschlossene Deckschicht ausgebildet ist. Die Öffnungen weisen die Form eines runden Stempels auf, dessen Durchmesser sich von der Straßenzur Innenseite hin vergrößert. Dadurch wird für den Durchtritt von Wasserdampf durch die Deckschicht im Bereich der Öffnungen zur Deckschicht hin eine besonders große Fläche zur Verfügung gestellt. Gleichzeitig bewirkt der zur Stra-ßenseite kleiner bemessene Öffnungsdurchmesser eine Erschwernis für das Eindringen von z.B. Steinen, Scherben oder Nägeln.
- Fig. 4a zeigt eine Draufsicht auf die Innenseite A der erfindungsgemäßen Laufsohle 1 von Fig. 4 aus Sohlenmaterial 2 mit schraffiert dargestellter Querschnittsfläche 5' (Kontur gestrichelt gezeichnet) der Öffnungen 5 zur Deckschicht hin. Die Querschnittsfläche 5' der Öffnungen zur Deckschicht hin wird vorteilhafterweise so bemessen, dass die Querschnittsfläche 5' der Öffnungen 5 zur Deckschicht hin 30 bis 80 %, besonders bevorzugt 30 bis 70 % der Deckschicht beträgt.
- Fig. 5 zeigt eine Abwandlung der in Fig. 4 dargestellten Laufsohle, worin die Deckschicht gewölbt ausgeführt ist. Dadurch wird für den Durchtritt von Wasserdampf durch die Deckschicht im Bereich der Öffnungen eine besonders große Fläche zur Verfügung gestellt. Desweiteren sind in der erfindungsgemäßen Laufsohle gemäß Fig. 5 Stege 6 angeordnet, welche der Laufsohle eine erhöhte Flexibilität verleihen. Für die Bezugszeichen 2 und 5 in Fig. 5 gilt sinngemäß das bereits bei der Beschreibung von Fig. 4 Gesagte.
- In den Figuren 3, 4 und 5 gilt für die Dicke d der Deckschicht, welche die Laufsohle 1 nach innen verschließt, sinngemäß das bei der Beschreibung von Figur 2 Gesagte.
- Zur Herstellung der erfindungsgemäßen Laufsohle wird
- ein Polymer aus der Gruppe der thermoplastischen Kautschuke, Gummen, Polyvinylchloride, Polyurethane, thermoplastischen Polyurethane, Ethylvinylacetate oder Latices und
- ein Copolymer aus der Gruppe der hydrophilen Polyetherester, Polyetheramide oder Polyetherurethane
- Bei der Herstellung der erfindungsgemäßen Laufsohle wird zum Formen der Mischung eine Form eingesetzt, die ein Negativ der erfindungsgemäßen Laufsohle darstellt. Durch blose Auswahl einer bestimmten geometrischen Ausgestaltung der Form kann somit eine Laufsohle hergestellt werden, die
- entweder keine nach außen weisende Öffnungen aufweist
- oder mit nach außen weisenden Öffnungen ausgestattet ist, die zur Innenseite der Laufsohle mit Sohlenmaterial verschlossen sind, und dabei
- den erwünschten Wert der Dicke des Sohlenmaterials, welches die Öffnungen der Laufsohle nach innen verschließt, d.h. den gewünschten Wert der Dicke d der Deckschicht und
- den gewünschten Wert der Querschnittsfläche der Öffnungen zur Deckschicht hin
- Somit lassen sich in einfacher Weise ein Vielzahl verschieden ausgestalteter Laufsohlen herstellen, wie etwa die in den Figuren 1, 2, 2a, 3 und 3b dargestellten Laufsohlen, die - obwohl nur einlagig ausgebildet - gleichzeitig ausreichend abriebfest, wasserdampfdurchlässig und auch nach Kontakt mit Tensiden wasserdicht sind.
- Auch die in den Figuren 4 und 4a dargestellten erfindungsgemäßen Laufsohlen sind gleichzeitig ausreichend abriebfest, wasserdampfdurchlässig und auch nach Kontakt mit Tensiden wasserdicht und können vom Fachmann in an sich bekannter Weise in mehreren Teilschritten hergestellt werden.
Claims (5)
- Wasserdampfdurchlässige und wasserdichte Laufsohle (1) für Schuhwerk, wobei die Laufsohle eine Mischung ausa) einem Polymer ausgewählt aus der Gruppe der thermoplastischen Kautschuke, Gummen, Polyvinylchloride, Polyurethane, thermoplastischen Polyurethane, Ethylvinylacetate oder Latices undb) bezogen auf das Volumen der Laufsohle 10 bis 80 Vol.-% einesumfasst.
Copolymeren ausgewählt aus der Gruppe der hydrophilen Polyetherester,
Polyetheramide oder Polyetherurethane - Laufsohle nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Laufsohle bezogen auf das Volumen der Laufsohle 10 bis 70 Vol.-% eines Copolymeren ausgewählt aus der Gruppe der hydrophilen Polyetherester, Polyetheramide oder Polyetherurethane umfasst.
- Laufsohle nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Laufsohle nach außen Öffnungen (3), (4), (5) aufweist, die zur Innenseite (A) der Laufsohle mit Sohlenmaterial verschlossen sind, wobei die Innenseite (A) als eine geschlossene Deckschicht ausgebildet ist.
- Laufsohle nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Dicke (d) der Deckschicht 0,02 bis 10 mm beträgt.
- Laufsohle nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 2 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Querschnittsfläche (3'), (4'), (5') der Öffnungen (3), (4), (5) zur Deckschicht hin 30 bis 80 % der Deckschicht beträgt.
