Claims (8)

  1. Lock, for doors or flaps on vehicles,
    having a fixedly mounted rotary latch (20) into which a locking member (10) moves when the door or flap is closed and initially pivots the rotary latch (20) from an open position into a preliminary detent position (20.1),
    the rotary latch (20) being spring-loaded (25) in the direction of its open position,
    having a fixedly mounted spring-loaded (35) catch (30) which in the preliminary detent position (20.1) drops into a preliminary detent (21) provided on the rotary latch (20),
    having a motorised (52) closing aid for the door or flap, comprising a transmission (53) with an eccentric (50),
    having control means for switching the motor (52) on and off,
    while in the switched on position the movement (55) of the eccentric (50) moves the rotary latch (20) from the preliminary detent position (20.1) into a main detent position (20.3), which is secured by the catch (30) dropping into a main detent (22) of the rotary latch (20),
    characterised in that
    between the eccentric (50) and the rotary catch (20) are provided a toggle joint lever pair (40) and a spring-loaded follower (33),
    in that the follower (33) is hinged to the free end (42) of the toggle joint lever pair (40)
    and the follower (33) is supported by its spring-loading (37), at least in the preliminary detent position (20.1) of the rotary latch (20), on a fixed end surface (18),
    in that the free end (42) of the toggle joint lever pair (40) is forcibly guided by guide means (15) in the lock housing (11),
    while the other, fixed end (41) of the toggle joint lever pair (40) is rotatably mounted in a fixed bearing (14),
    in that the eccentric (50) has a control cam (51) on which the toggle joint lever pair (40) is supported,
    and in that the follower (33) has a shoulder (34) which in the open position is spaced (36) from a mating shoulder (24) provided on the rotary latch (20)
    but during the motorised (52) closing movement the toggle joint lever pair (40) is extended (40.2) or bent (40.1), as a result of which the shoulder (34) of the follower (33) is engaged by the mating shoulder (24) of the rotary latch (20) and further rotates the rotary latch (20) out of the preliminary detent position (20.1) into the main detent position (20.3).
  2. Lock according to claim 1, characterised in that the toggle joint lever pair (40) are supported on the eccentric (50) in the region (43) of the joint thereof.
  3. Lock according to claim 1 and 2, characterised in that the guide means consist of a guide element (15) one end (16) of which is jointed to the free end (42) of the toggle joint lever pair (40),
    while the other end (17) of the guide element is received in a fixed bearing (12).
  4. Lock according to claim 3, characterised in that the fixed bearing of the guide element (15) is also the bearing (12) of the rotary latch (20).
  5. Lock according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the articulation point for the guide element (15) on the toggle joint lever pair (40) is also the articulation point for the follower (33).
  6. Lock according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the spring-loading (37) of the follower (33) consists of a leg spring which sits on the free end (42) of the toggle joint lever pair (40) in the region of the articulation point of the follower (33).
  7. Lock according to one or more of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the eccentric (50) has a defined control cam (51)
    and in that the eccentric (50) can be detached from the motor transmission (53) and replaced by an eccentric with a control cam (51) of a different profile.
  8. Lock according to one or more of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the toggle joint lever pair (40) and/or the follower (33) and/or the guide means (15) can be detached from the housing (11) and replaced by other analogous components with different proportions and/or profiles.
