Claims (10)

  1. A stench trap (1), in particular for kitchens or bathrooms, comprising a tubular inlet (2), which can be connected to a drain (25, 6) of a bowl, and comprising an outlet (4) which is formed on a housing (3) and which can be connected to a drain pipe, wherein a U-shaped deflection is formed in the stench trap for the inflowing fluid and wherein, for forming the deflection, the housing (3) has an intermediate wall (13) which separates two chambers (12, 14) from one another, and wherein the inlet (2) is supported on the housing so as to be height-adjustable relative to the housing (3), characterized in that the inlet comprises a connecting piece (8) which can be inserted into a receptacle (12), which is formed on the housing and which comprises a plurality of ribs (9) which serve the purpose of guiding and supporting during the insertion of the inlet (2).
  2. The stench trap according to claim 1, characterized in that at least one sealing ring (8) is supported on the connecting piece (8).
  3. The stench trap according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the inlet (2) is secured against being pulled out of the housing (3).
  4. The stench trap according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the inlet (2) can be twisted in a certain tolerance range relative to the housing (3).
  5. The stench trap according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that a clamp (5) which secures the inlet (2) on the housing (3) against being displaced can be snapped into place on the housing (3).
  6. The stench trap according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the housing (3) is formed from an upper part (31) comprising the intermediate wall (13) and a bowl-shaped lower part (30).
  7. The stench trap according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that an outlet connection (4) is formed on the housing (3).
  8. The stench trap according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that fastening means for a wall assembly are formed on the housing (3).
  9. The stench trap according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the inlet (2) is formed as an elbow pipe and comprises a substantially straight connecting piece (8), which is connected with a pipe receiving section (22) via a pipe bend (7) in one piece.
  10. The stench trap according to claim 9, characterized in that the pipe bend (7) is substantially a 90° angular pipe bend.
