Description

The invention relates to a drain for sanitary apparatus according to the preamble of claim 1.

The generic EP 1 229 174 A discloses a process in which the dip tube and the overflow cup or at least the outer wall of the overflow cup form a unit. After removing this unit, the drain pipe is relatively easily accessible for cleaning. The said unit of dip tube and overflow cup is relatively expensive and must be used after cleaning in a specific rotational position in the housing.

Another expiration is from the EP 0 503 232 A known. The cup-shaped housing has an upper housing part with an opening into which a dip tube is inserted from above. With a sealing ring this dip tube is sealed at the top of this upper part. The dip tube engages in the overflow cup, which is integrally formed on the housing. In this process is disadvantageous that the outlet nozzle is not accessible for cleaning.

The EP 0 807 721 A discloses a drain which also has a dip tube and overflow cup. The overflow cup is displaceable here and also has opposite the spout a confiscation. After removing the dip tube, the overflow cup can be moved so that the outlet nozzle is accessible for cleaning. After cleaning, the overflow cup must be returned to its original position and the dip tube inserted.

The GB-A-1 125 196 discloses a drain for a urinal, which has a downwardly directed nozzle and in which the water rises in the dip tube and is deflected into a further tube arranged in this.

The invention has for its object to provide a flow of the type mentioned, which is even easier and cheaper to produce and allows even easier cleaning.

The object is achieved in a generic sequence according to claim 1. For easy cleaning of the overflow cup, only the dip tube is removed. In addition, the overflow pipe can be removed for cleaning the outlet nozzle, so that the drain pipe and the drain pipe are accessible. The removal of the dip tube and the overflow tube are simple operations that require little explanation. This also applies to the insertion of these parts after cleaning. Both the dip tube and the overflow tube are relatively simple tubular parts that can be produced inexpensively by injection molding.

According to a development of the invention, the dip tube is connected at a lower edge tightly connected to the housing. The seal is preferably carried out with a circumferential sealing means and in particular sealing ring.

According to a development of the invention, the overflow pipe is provided with a lower edge on a circumferential inwardly directed shoulder of the housing. This allows a simple and secure installation and fixation of the overflow pipe.

According to the invention, a support ring is arranged at the upper end of the overflow pipe, which surrounds the dip tube and forms a deflection for the water flowing out of the overflow pipe. This support ring serves on the one hand to support the dip tube and on the other hand as a guide for a suitable flow of water.

According to a development of the invention, it is provided that the dip tube and the overflow tube are rotationally symmetrical parts. In particular, these parts have a polygonal and in particular a hexagonal cross-section. This allows a particularly suitable attachment of the drain with mounting screws.

According to a development of the invention, a lid is provided, which engages in the dip tube and is releasably connected thereto. This makes it possible to remove the dip tube on the lid from the housing or from the overflow cup. Preferably, in this case, the lid is locked to the dip tube. When placing the lid so that automatically connected to the dip tube. The lid and the dip tube can also be easily separated from each other. A particularly suitable and simple latching connection is obtained according to a development of the invention when the lid has downwardly projecting webs, which are latched with a wall of the inside of the dip tube molded rib.

A particularly functionally reliable mounting of the dip tube results when it has an outwardly projecting collar at an upper end, which rests on an upper edge of the overflow pipe. The dip tube is thus securely supported on the overflow pipe.

According to a development of the invention, a bracket is attached to the dip tube. At this bracket, the dip tube can be easily removed from the overflow pipe. In addition, the bracket signals the user that the dip tube is removable.

Further advantageous features emerge from the dependent claims, the following description and the drawings.

The sequence 1 has according to the FIGS. 1 to 3 a pot-like housing 2, which has a lower part 31 and a lid-shaped upper part 5 and forms a housing space 37. To attach the drain 1 in an opening, not shown here, for example, a shower tray, not shown here, a ring 7 is placed on the upper housing part 5, which is fastened, for example, with three mounting screws 9 detachably on the upper housing part 5. The fastening screws 9 each engage in a nut 10, which are mounted on the underside of the housing upper part 5. The ring 6, which can also be referred to as a flange, forms an opening 3 through which water can flow into the drain 1. About this opening 3, a removable cover 4 is arranged.

In the housing 2, an overflow pipe 16 is inserted from above, which is sealed in the vicinity of a lower edge 19 by means of a circumferential sealing ring 17 against the housing 2. The lower edge 19 rests on a shoulder 18 of the housing 2. As can be seen, this shoulder 18 projects inwards and is located directly above a floor 8 of the housing lower part 31. The floor 8 is not flat, but rather forms an elevation 32 which projects into the overflow pipe 16. At the upper end, the overflow pipe 16 has a circumferential support ring 28, on which a dip tube 12 is supported. The support ring 28 is located above an overflow edge 33 of the overflow pipe 16, which is arranged at a distance from a concave guide surface 34 of the support ring 28.

The dip tube 12 projects from above into the overflow pipe 16 and forms a lower edge 15, which surrounds the elevation 32 and arranged at a distance from the bottom 8 is, so that inflowing water through the dip tube 12 between the edge 15 and the bottom 8 in the direction of the arrow 25 is deflected. The dip tube 16 has at the upper end an outwardly projecting collar 13 which is sealed with a sealing ring 14 relative to the upper housing part 5. As can be seen, the dip tube 12 rests with the collar 13 on the overflow pipe 16. The arrows 25, 26 and 27 show the flow directions of the running water. The water passes through the opening 3 in the housing space 37 and according to the arrows 25 around the edge 15 in an annular space 38 between the dip tube 12 and the overflow pipe 16 upwards, then according to the arrows 26 between the guide surface 34 and the overflow edge 33 after outside and finally according to the arrows 27 in the socket 29th

The overflow pipe 16 forms with the bottom 8 of the housing base 31 an overflow cup. This overflow cup forms with the dip tube 12 an odor trap.

On the housing 2 or on the lower housing part 31, a connecting piece 29 is formed, which projects laterally and which is connected to a union nut 20 with an intermediate piece 22. This intermediate piece 22 is connected to a joint with a connection part 24, which is to be connected to a drain line, not shown here. If the overflow pipe 16 is filled with water, it forms, as mentioned, an odor trap, which prevents gas from escaping through the drain and thus out of the inlet opening 3 from the drain line.

For cleaning, the dip tube 12 and the overflow pipe 16 can be removed from the housing 2. In order to simplify the removal of the dip tube 12, the cover 4 is latched over a plurality of downwardly projecting webs 11 with the dip tube 12. For this purpose, these webs 11 each have on the outside a toothing 35, which engage an inner arranged rib 36. The cover 4 can thus be removed together with the dip tube 12 from the housing 2. The latching connection allows a simple separation of the lid 4 from the dip tube 12. When placing the lid 4, this is automatically connected to the dip tube 12. On the dip tube 12, a foldable bracket 30 is also attached, on which alternatively the dip tube 12 can be removed from the housing 2. For cleaning, thus, the lid 4 of the dip tube 12th removed and then pulled on the bracket 30, the dip tube 12. After removal of the dip tube 12, the overflow pipe 16 can also be removed from the housing 2 for cleaning purposes. The nozzle 29 and the line connected thereto are thus easily accessible from above for cleaning. After cleaning, the dip tube 12 is inserted from above until the edge 19 rests on the shoulder 18. Now the dip tube 12 and the lid 4 are used. The dip tube 12 and the cover 4 can be used together or individually.

The overflow pipe 16 and the dip tube 12 are rotationally symmetrical at least at the upper end polygonal and in particular hexagonal, like the FIG. 3 shows. The overflow pipe 16 and the dip tube 12 can thus be used in different rotational positions.
