Claims (23)

  1. Device for securing the operating range of emptying devices (10) for emptying refuse containers (8) into a collecting container (2), in particular of emptying devices with laterally disposed barriers, wherein the emptying device (10) comprises a lifting carriage (11) for receiving the refuse container (8), characterised in
    that a barrier mechanism (30), which can move from a rest position into a securing position and vice versa, is disposed between the collecting container (2) and the lifting carriage (11),
    which mechanism extends in the securing position below the lifting carriage (11) into the range of movement (S) of the lifting carriage (11).
  2. Device according to Claim 1, characterised in that the barrier mechanism (30) is connected to a control mechanism (45) which is formed to interrupt the emptying process if the barrier mechanism leaves the securing position during a period (monitoring phase) of the emptying process of the emptying device (10).
  3. Device according to Claim 2, characterised in that the barrier mechanism (30) comprises a sensor mechanism (40) which is connected to the control mechanism (45) and which detects the position of the barrier mechanism (30).
  4. Device according to Claim 3, characterised in that the control mechanism (45) is the control mechanism of the emptying device (10).
  5. Device according to any one of Claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the barrier mechanism (30) is disposed at a mobile fastening element of the emptying device (10) or a stationary fastening element of the emptying device (10) or of the collecting container (2).
  6. Device according to any one of Claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the barrier mechanism (30) comprises at least one drive mechanism (37) which moves the barrier mechanism (30) at least from the rest position into the securing position.
  7. Device according to Claim 6, characterised in that the drive mechanism (37) is a spring mechanism (35) which is supported at the fastening element.
  8. Device according to Claim 7, characterised in that the spring mechanism (35) comprises at least one gas pressure spring (36).
  9. Device according to Claim 6, characterised in that the drive mechanism (37) is at least one pressure medium-operated motor which is supported at the fastening element.
  10. Device according to any one of Claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the barrier mechanism (30) can be moved by means of the emptying device (10) at least from its securing position into the rest position.
  11. Device according to any one of Claims 1 to 10, characterised in that the barrier mechanism (30) is pivotably mounted at the fastening element.
  12. Device according to any one of Claims 1 to 11, characterised in that the barrier mechanism (30) comprises at least one horizontally disposed barrier element (31).
  13. Device according to any one of Claims 1 to 12, characterised in that the barrier mechanism (30) comprises at least one lever arm (33) which on one side is connected to the barrier element (31) and on the other side comprises a pivot mounting (34) which is disposed at the fastening element.
  14. Device according to either of Claims 12 and 13, characterised in that at least the barrier element (31) is covered with a damping element (32).
  15. Device according to any one of Claims 1 to 14, characterised in that the barrier mechanism (30) has a T-shaped or L-shaped form.
  16. Device according to any one of Claims 1 to 15, characterised in that the length of the lever arm (33) is greater than or equal to the length of the pivoting arm (23) of the emptying device (10).
  17. Device according to any one of Claims 13 to 16, characterised in that the lever arm (33) takes up an angle α where 70° ≤ α ≤ 90°.
  18. Device according to any one of Claims 1 to 17, characterised in that the horizontal extent of the barrier element (31) is greater than or equal to the width of the emptying device (10).
  19. Device according to any one of Claims 3 to 18, characterised in that the sensor mechanism (40) comprises an inductive switch (41) or a rotational angle transducer (42).
  20. Emptying device for emptying refuse containers into a collecting container with a device for securing the operating range according to any one of Claims 1 to 19.
  21. Method for securing the operating range of an emptying device, which comprises a lifting carriage, for emptying refuse containers into a collecting container, characterised in that, during the period of the emptying process, the range of movement below the lifting carriage (11) is secured by means of a barrier mechanism (30) by bringing the barrier mechanism (30) into a securing position into the range of movement (S) of the lifting carriage (11), and
    that the emptying process is interrupted if the barrier mechanism (3) leaves the securing position during the monitoring phase.
  22. Method according to Claim 21, characterised in that the monitoring phase is shorter than the emptying process.
  23. Method according to Claim 21 or 22, characterised in that the monitoring phase is terminated prematurely before the emptying process is terminated.
