Abstract

The garment has two foldable or juxtaposed parts (22) allowing an insertion of limbs in a corresponding passage (1) to slip on and/or to remove the garment. An adhesive bead (3) and a fastening strip (5) are positioned respectively on the parts (22) and on opposite foldable parts (26, 36) to position the parts (26, 36) on the rest of the garment, where the gripping unit and the strip have variable dimensions related to width.

Description

The invention relates to the field of clothing and more specifically to clothing made with special arrangements, in particular to allow their donning and removal or unwinding easy way, especially for the elderly or mobility impaired. The invention relates more particularly to a chasuble sweater.

By "garment crossing members" means any type of garment having two holes for threading the two arms or both legs of a user.

It is observed on a daily basis that people with reduced mobility find it difficult to put on or take off their clothes, as a matter of necessity, to perform these daily actions, such as dorsiflexion, knee rotation, and, in general, all kinds of movements that are sources of pain, or incompatible with relative stiffness due to age or trauma. In fact, it is often necessary to assist these people to allow them to get dressed.

In order to facilitate such threading, it is known, for example from the document WO 03/063624 to use reversible joining means of part of said garment, such as snaps. However, this type of securing means does not allow to adapt the size, and especially the use or donning of the garment depending on the morphology of the user. Therefore, such clothing can be totally unsightly, due to the mismatch between the resulting size of said garment and the user. This closure principle can also induce, especially in the hospitals or in the places of residence of the elderly, the need to have a large quantity of clothes of the same model in a plurality of sizes, thus increasing significantly the corresponding costs. In addition, these clothes induce a uniform character, making them unwilling to be worn.

Another garment also having the drawbacks mentioned above is described in the document FR-2,804,837 , where it is a question of a jumper chasuble according to the preamble of claim 1 of the annexed game.

In the document GB-A-2,154,852 is described pants whose upper portion is split laterally, right and left, from the waist and up to the upper legs. Each side slot in the top of these pants is delimited by two foldable parts one on the other, each of which carries one of two complementary fastening strips, velvet type and hooks. These two strips can be fixed to one another reversibly, in several positions that correspond to different settings of the waist.

The invention thus relates to a chasuble sweater provided with passage (s) of limb, intended to be more easily donned and removed, especially by persons with reduced mobility, while having to wear a conventional appearance.

In other words, the chasuble sweater according to the invention may comprise, on its front or side faces, in particular, joint areas between two parts, one being folded over the other and secured by a plurality of fastening means reversible type buckles and hooks, or any other conventional means, such as buttons, snaps, staples, zipper, magnetic closure. The term "reversible fastening means of the type loops and hooks" strips or pellets, such as marketed in particular under the trademark Velcro®.

More conventional fastening means can also be implemented, such as easy-grip knobs, that is to say of size and shape easy to grasp, capable of cooperating with a wide buttonhole.

Advantageously, the foldable portion may comprise at least one gripping pad provided with a plurality of hooks. In this case, the reversible fastening means integral with the folding part are in the form of a pellet which can be of various shapes, and in particular round or square, from which emerges a plurality of hooks.

According to a first variant, the part facing the folding part may comprise at least one hooking pad provided with a plurality of loops. Thus, the reversible securing zone between the folding portion and the facing zone is substantially localized according to the size of the gripping pad from which emerges a plurality of loops.

According to a second variant, the part opposite the folding part may comprise a fastening strip provided with a plurality of loops. In other words, in this case, the reversible connection between the folding part and the facing part has a certain latitude to achieve the joining between the two parts of the garment. This latitude is then a function of the width of the fastening strip used. It can in particular make it possible to adapt the size of the garment to the user according to the chosen positioning of the gripping pellet on the fastening strip.

In practice, the foldable portion may include at least one dummy button at the foldable portion, and which is apparent once this part folded.

In other words, the dummy buttons can become apparent when the folding part covers the part opposite the garment. These dummy buttons make it possible to give the illusion that the folding zone and the zone opposite are secured by means of these buttons.

Advantageously, the garment may comprise a cord intended to facilitate its threading, and be positioned at one of the edges of a foldable or juxtaposable area or the foldable portion of the garment.

In other words, a cord can be secured to one of the edges of a foldable or juxtaposable area or the foldable portion to allow the user of this garment easy donning. Indeed, the free end of this cord may allow in particular to position the facing part of the garment so as to correspond with the foldable portion, without requiring a large range of movement on the part of the user to perform this operation.

This or these cords may be located in preferred junction places other than the edges to facilitate donning the garment considered.

The garment according to the invention is a chasuble sweater. Thus, when the folding part is not secured to the part opposite, the garment is in the form of a chasuble since the sleeves are not then formed. However, once the folding part secured with the part opposite, this garment is in the form of a sweater since two sleeves are then formed and closed.

To obtain greater mobility of movement, the plurality of flaps is made at the level of the folding part, to allow a joint to be made in the manner of the flaps of an accordion once the folding part secured to the part facing the garment. .

The chasuble sweater may then comprise two foldable parts so as to generate a large opening communicating with the two armholes.

In other words, the two foldable parts each extend between an opening for making an armhole and the main opening located in the lower part of the garment. This main opening is at the height of the user, once the garment is put on.

The manner of carrying out the invention as well as the advantages which result therefrom will emerge more clearly from the description of the various embodiments which follow, given by way of indication, but not by way of limitation, in support of the appended figures in which:

• the figure 1 is a front view of a jumper-chasuble according to the invention;
• the Figures 2 to 6 represent different steps of the threading of such a pull, according to the invention;
• the figure 7 is a front view of a jacket in semi-open position, not in accordance with the invention;
• the figure 8 is a front view of a sleeveless vest in semi-open position, not in accordance with the invention;
• the Figures 9 to 13 represent different stages of donning the vest of the figure 8 .

As already mentioned, the invention relates to a garment provided with passage (s) of limbs, and in this case two, intended to be more easily put on, or on the contrary removed in particular by people with reduced mobility, or suffering from various ills painful. As shown in figure 1 , the garment according to the invention (1) is in the form of a pull-chasuble. In other words, it comprises two folding parts (22, 32), which each extend from the opening of an armhole (14, 15) to the main opening (16) of the garment (1). This main opening (16) corresponds to the opening located at the height of the user, once the garment (1) threaded and the two parts (2) folded.

As shown, when the folding parts (22, 32) are not reversibly secured to the facing parts (26, 36), this garment (1) is comparable to a chasuble. However, once the reversible joining operation carried out between the two parts (22, 32) and (26, 36), the garment (1) is then in the form of a sweater.

The connection between the two parts (22, 32) and (26, 36) is effected by means of a fastening strip (5), comprising a plurality of loops and attached to the facing part (26, 36). the folding part (22, 32), but also by means of gripping pads (3), judiciously arranged on the folding part (22, 32). These gripping pads (3) are provided with a plurality of hooks adapted to grip the loops of the fastening strip (5) attached to the facing portion (26, 36) of the garment (1). These fastening means may especially be those marketed under the trademark Velcro®. However, these reversible attachment means could be constituted by zippers.

As shown in this figure, the garment (1) has, at its foldable portions (22, 32), a plurality of flaps (13) for improving the freedom of movement of the user.

We have shown in relation with the Figures 2 to 6 , a method of donning the garment (1). Thus, when the user is made to don alone his garment (1), it can for example proceed as follows. He arranges the garment (1) on a flat support such as a table, the rear face (18) of the garment being oriented upwards. The user then wraps in his hands this rear face (18) of the garment (1), the foldable parts (22,32) are then also wound, a roll of the garment (1) being made up to the level of the openings of the two armholes (14, 15).

Once this winding is done, and as shown on the figure 3 , the user who can be seated on a chair, bends the head and raises the forearms, holding in his hands the roll made on the backside (18) of the garment (1). Its head then penetrates inside the main opening (16). This operation does not require a large range of motion at the shoulders and elbows, and further not inducing backbends, it can be performed by a large number of people, including reduced mobility.

As shown on the figure 4 , the penetration of the head continues inside the garment (1) to emerge at the neck (19). At this moment, the garment (1) unfolds and is in the form of a chasuble since it does not yet include armhole. The unfolding and sliding of the back of the garment on its wearer are furthermore greatly facilitated by the presence of smooth liners, located at locations favoring the correct positioning of the garment. These liners are for example made of satin.

There are foldable parts (22, 32) located on either side of the main opening (16). These folding parts (22, 32) comprise a plurality of gripping pads (3) provided with hooks to allow reversible joining with the fastening strips (5) reported on the front and provided with loops.

As shown on the figure 5 when the user returns the foldable portion (32) at the facing portion (36), and reversibly secures them, then appears dummy buttons (9). Indeed, these buttons (9) have a purely aesthetic function, allowing to give the illusion that they are the ones who realize the reversible connection between the two parts (32) and (36).

Once the two folding parts secured to the parts facing each other, and as shown on the figure 6 the garment is then in the form of a sweater (11).

We have shown on the figure 7 , a jacket (21) outside the invention. In this case, the foldable portion (2) is located at the front of the garment and may in particular be located in a median plane of the front face. The fastening between the folding part (2) and the opposite part (6) is performed by means of a gripping pad (3) provided with hooks, and attached to the inner face of the folding part (2). At the opposite part (6), is then reported a hooking pad (4) provided with loops. Any other conventional reversible closure means could be implemented, such as for example buttons, snaps, buttonholes, magnets, etc. Such as shown, this jacket (21) comprises a cord (10) whose end secured to the garment is attached at an edge (17) of a foldable area (12).

The free end of the cord (10) may in particular have a gripping means or a loop to facilitate its gripping, and therefore the establishment of the garment (1) by the user. This establishment is also facilitated on the one hand, by the presence of areas doubled by a smooth fabric, as described above, and on the other hand, by the use of oblique and wide armholes type Raglan ®.

On the figure 8 is shown a vest (31) outside the invention. It may in particular have two beads (10, 20) to facilitate the establishment of the garment (1) by the user. The vest (31) may also include different areas of overlap between a folding portion (2) and a facing portion (6). These overlapping areas may have different orientations, especially on the front face, such as vertical or horizontal. The joining between these parts is also achieved by means of gripping pellets (3) and anchoring pellets (4) secured respectively to a folding part (2) and a facing part (6), or any other reversible closure means. . As shown, the cord (10) is attached to a foldable area (12), while the cord (20) is attached at the edge (17) of the folding portion (2).

As illustrated on the figure 9 for donning this garment (1), the user can for example put it on a flat surface such as a table. He then positions the garment (1) on one of his shoulders and helps himself by means of the cord (10) to rotate it around his neck.

As shown on the figure 10 , he then correctly positions the front part at the level of his left shoulder. Then, according to the illustration of the figure 11 , the user then pulls again on the cord (10) to raise the level of his shoulder part (6).

As shown on the figure 12 once the part (6) is in place, it can store the cord (10) inside a pocket provided for this purpose. He then maintains, with his left hand, the portion (6) in position, while his right hand grasps the cord (20) for positioning the folding portion (2) properly. It then matches the reversible fastening means (3, 4) at the front of the garment (1).

According to figure 13 it then forms a vest (31) whose central opening (23) can also be closed in the manner of the jacket (21).

It follows from the foregoing that a chasuble jumper according to the invention has many advantages, in particular:

• it allows a person with reduced mobility or suffering to put on a garment, without the assistance of a third person;
• it provides an aesthetic solution to allow people with reduced mobility to dress and maintain their dignity;
• it allows to adapt to different user morphologies;
• it is quick and easy to set up or withdraw if necessary, and in particular to allow the hospital environment to perform a medical intervention;
• in the case of clothing with armholes, the selection of sleeves Raglan ® type, limits the movement of arms required for threading sleeves, since the inclination of said arm required becomes much less than 90 ° from the vertical.

Claims (8)

1. Chasuble-shaped pullover fitted with orifices for the limbs to pass through for improved donnability or removal, particularly by persons of reduced mobility, although appearing conventional in the way it is worn, characterized in that it comprises:

   ■ at least one folding part (22, 32), facilitating the donning and/or removal of said garment (1), and more especially the insertion of one or more limbs into the appropriate orifice, and comprising a plurality of flaps (13) intended to improve the mobility of its user, once this folding part (22, 32) is folded back;

   ■ a plurality of reversible fastening means (3, 5), positioned on the folding part or parts (22, 32) and on the facing part (26, 36) of the garment (1) respectively, so as to allow said folding part (26, 36) to be positioned on the rest of the garment (1), and being of variable dimension in such a way that the size of the garment (1) can be adapted to the user.
2. Chasuble-shaped pullover as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the reversible fastening means (3, 5) are of the loop and hook type.
3. Chasuble-shaped pullover as claimed in claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the variable dimension is the width of the reversible fastening means (3, 5) positioned on the folding part or parts (22, 32) and/or on the facing part (6, 26, 36).
4. Chasuble-shaped pullover as claimed in claim 3, characterized in that the variable dimension is the width of the fastening strip (5) fitted with a plurality of loops positioned on the part (26, 36) facing the folding part (22, 32).
5. Chasuble-shaped pullover as claimed in one of claims 1 to 4,
   characterized in that the folding part (22, 32) comprises at least one dummy button (9) on the folding part (22, 32), which is exposed once said folding part (22, 32) is folded back.
6. Chasuble-shaped pullover as claimed in one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that it comprises a cord intended to improve the donnability of said garment (1), and positioned on one of the edges of a folding area or of the folding part (22, 32) of the garment (1).
7. Chasuble-shaped pullover as claimed in any one of the previous claims, characterized in that it comprises two folding parts (22, 32) intended to define a large opening (16) communicating between the two armholes (14, 15).
8. Chasuble-shaped pullover as claimed in one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that it further includes areas for sliding parts of the garment onto its wearer that are constituted by smooth linings.
