Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a fluid dispenser comprising a fluid reservoir defining a displaceable and deformable actuating wall capable of being moved or depressed, a dispensing orifice and spring means adapted to urge the deformable wall into a state. maximum volume of the tank.
  • the dispenser, or at least the reservoir may for example be made from one or two flexible sheets forming the actuating wall.
  • By depressing the actuating wall against the spring means the internal volume of the reservoir is reduced and the fluid product is thus discharged through the dispensing orifice.
  • This is a classic design for a distributor in the field of perfumery, cosmetics or pharmacy. In some areas, it is advantageous that the distribution takes place in the form of a spray.
  • the spring means act on the wall by deforming it to a state of maximum deformation in which it defines a state of maximum volume for the tank.
  • the deformation of the deformable wall due to the spring means is not always aesthetic and can therefore adversely affect the appearance of the dispenser.
  • the spring means increase the total thickness of the dispenser which can be a major drawback in some cases of use.
  • the present invention aims to overcome this disadvantage of the prior art by defining a fluid dispenser whose spring means do not affect the aesthetics of the actuating wall, at least before use of the dispenser. Another object is to be able to arm the spring means in a practical manner, fast, and preferably intuitive.
  • the present invention provides that the spring means cooperate with arming means able to bring the spring means into solicitation of the actuating wall from an initial state in which the spring means do not do not bias the actuating wall, the spring means comprising a front plate and a back plate, the reservoir being located between the front and rear plates, the arming means comprising spacer means being selectively movable between an inoperative position wherein the two plates extend substantially parallel corresponding to a state of minimum volume of the reservoir and an operative position in which the plates are at least locally spaced from each other, the front plate being movable relative to the plate back so as to crush the reservoir located between them, actuating means being provided for positioning the spacer means between the two plates so as to move them apart, the actuating means comprising a traction member provided with an attachment end connected to the spacer means and a pulling end, the pulling end being located near the dispensing orifice.
  • the spring means do not act on the actuating wall in the initial state and the arming means are used to give the spring means their true and desired function, that is to say of solicitation of the actuating wall.
  • the dispenser of the invention can therefore be stored before use in a state in which the spring means does not act. not on the actuating wall. In the absence of stress, the actuating wall remains unconstrained and can thus have a suitable aesthetic appearance. The actuating wall, and thus the dispenser, can then remain in a perfectly flat state, suitable for use as a sample in magazines.
  • the dispensing orifice is closed by a removable closure member integral with the traction member.
  • the dispensing orifice is closed by a removable closure member provided with a gripping tab, the pulling end being formed by said gripping tab.
  • the spacer means and the control means are made integrally.
  • the spacer means comprise an articulated flap movable between the inoperative and armed positions, said flap and the traction member being made integrally.
  • the traction member may extend between the two plates.
  • the traction member forms a stirrup comprising two branches connected together by a common core, the two branches defining two connecting ends together forming said fixing end.
  • the traction member comprises a tab connected to the core, said tab defining a free end connected to or forming the pulling end.
  • the tab is detachable from stirrup. More generally, the pulling end is detachable from the remainder of the traction member.
  • the reservoir is attached to a plate between the two arms of the caliper.
  • the spring means is formed by at least one of the front plate, the back plate and the spacer means.
  • the reservoir contains almost only fluid before removal of the removable closure member.
  • the dispenser comprises a liquid or powder fluid bag 3, which is here made from a deformable flexible sheet 31 folded on itself and sealingly attached to the periphery. The sealed attachment of the two sheets can be advantageously carried out by heat sealing.
  • This defines a fluid reservoir 30 of variable volume.
  • the flexible sheet 31 forms a deformable or sinking actuating wall.
  • the dispenser also includes a dispensing orifice 321 which may preferably be a spray orifice. This orifice is preferably formed by dispensing head 32 of rigid plastic material which defines an outlet channel whose downstream end forms the dispensing orifice. Sheet 31 is advantageously welded to the dispensing head.
  • the orifice 321 is advantageously closed at least before the first use by a removable closure member which comprises a sealing portion 341 and a fastening portion 342.
  • the reservoir comprises a piece of porous material capable of imbibing or impregnating liquid or powdery fluid product.
  • this part is positioned in direct contact with the dispensing orifice 321 or the outlet channel.
  • the dispenser also comprises spring and arming means which are here in the form of an upper plate 2 and a lower plate 1, associated with a pivot flap 42 and a pulling member 43 for pivoting the flap. .
  • the flap 42 performs a function of arming means for activating the spring means. It can also provide a spring function.
  • At least one of the two plates is elastically deformable, so as to fulfill a spring function, if the flap does not fill already.
  • the two plates are elastically deformable and the flap is rigid.
  • the two plates 1 and 2 can be made from a single piece of plate connected by a connecting fold 12, as is the case in the figures.
  • a cutout or notch 21 is formed at the binding fold 12.
  • the recess can be made by a window which straddles the fold and which is then folded on itself.
  • the dispensing orifice 321 with its removable closure member are positioned in this indentation 21.
  • the plate 1 is formed by a pan 10 and two side flaps 11 which are foldable on the pan.
  • the plate 2 is connected to the pan 10 by the fold 12.
  • the plate is substantially the same size as the pan 10, so they can be superimposed.
  • a fixing heel 41 is advantageously glued on the panel 10.
  • the heel can also be made in one piece with the plate 1.
  • the flap 42 is articulated relative to the heel 41 by pivoting about a line 412.
  • the flap will serve arming means in the form of spacer means, as will be seen hereinafter.
  • the flap is further provided with a small locking tab 422 whose function will be explained below.
  • the heel and the flap can be made in one piece.
  • the flap is advantageously located near the edge opposite the fold 12.
  • the plate 2 As for the plate 2, it is formed with a slot 22 intended to receive the locking tongue 422 of the plate 1.
  • the plates are intended to be fixed, advantageously heat-sealed, together at the level of the flaps 11. This gives a kind of envelope sealed on three sides and open on the side where is formed the hinged flap 42.
  • the flexible bag 3 is disposed between the two plates inside the envelope they form together.
  • the dispensing orifice 321 is advantageously positioned centrally at the notch 21.
  • the pocket 23 may advantageously be fixed inside the envelope constituted by the two plates.
  • the pocket may for example be fixed at two points 311 and 312 to each of the plates.
  • the plate 2 extends substantially parallel to the plate 1, with the flexible bag 3 interposed between them.
  • the flexible bag 3 advantageously contains only very little fluid, so that it can have a particularly flat configuration.
  • the cumulative thickness of the distributor may be of the order of 2 to 3 mm.
  • the folding line 412 is advantageously performed in a curved manner, for example in the form of a circular arc.
  • the edge of the flap where the tongue is formed can also be curved.
  • the flap is articulated by pivoting until its free edge comes to bear on the plate 2 and its small locking tongue 422 is housed inside the window 22 formed in the plate 2. This is shown in FIG. figure 4 .
  • the flap then extends substantially perpendicular to both the plate 71 and the plate 2. Due to the engagement of the tongue 422 in the window 22, the flap is locked in position.
  • the flap can for example be made rigidly. It thus constitutes spacer means that keep the two plates apart from each other.
  • the spacing of the two plates due to the interposition of the spacer flap also has the effect of spreading the walls of the pocket. .
  • the internal volume of the reservoir thus increases by air inlet through the dispensing orifice 321, and advantageously through the piece of porous material.
  • the plates are made of an elastically deformable material which gives them this characteristic of elasticity of return.
  • the plates each form spring return means.
  • one embodiment can be envisaged in which only one of the plates forms elastic return means, while the other plate can be perfectly rigid and serve as a reaction surface.
  • the flap is elastically deformable and rigid plates. The flexible flap and a deformable plate is also conceivable.
  • the plates can be brought closer to one another by deforming the pocket. This has the effect of pressurizing the reservoir 30 and thus discharging a mixture of air of fluid product through the dispensing orifice.
  • the spacer flap 42 forms arming means for bringing the plates into a spaced configuration.
  • the spring and arming means are here in the form of an envelope which surrounds the flexible bag 3. It is also possible to imagine embodiments in which the spring and arming means are in the form of two narrow strips or blades, one of which includes an arming spacer flap. The flexible bag 3 would then be disposed between these two bands.
  • the fluid dispenser is provided with control means which are designated in their assemblies by the reference numeral 4 on the figure 1 .
  • These actuating means may include in their definitions the flap 42 as well as the fixing heel 41, since they can be made in one piece with the rest of the actuating means 4.
  • the actuating means 4 comprise a traction member which extends between the flap 42 and the indentation 21.
  • the traction member is connected, advantageously in one piece to the edge of the flap 42 which is formed the locking tab 422.
  • the traction member comprises a pulling end 442 initially positioned in the notch 21.
  • the traction member transmits the pulling force to the flap 42 which is then pivotally biased from its inoperative position shown on the figure 3 up to his armed position represented on the figure 4 .
  • the final position is that where the locking tongue 442 is housed in the slot 22 of the plate 2. The user will immediately understand that it is necessary to grasp the pull end 442 and pull on it.
  • the traction member extends between the two plates 1 and 2.
  • the removable closure member 34 is integral with the traction member, so that pulling on the pulling end 442, is carried out simultaneously the arming of the dispenser and the removal of the body member. removable shutter to disengage the dispensing orifice 321.
  • the actuating means 4 comprise a force transmission stirrup 43 and a pull tab 44.
  • the stirrup and the tab can be made integrally, or alternatively, the tab 44 can be fixed, for example by gluing, on the stirrup 43.
  • the stirrup 43 comprises two substantially parallel lateral branches 432 connected at one of their ends to a common core 431.
  • the branches 432 extend substantially parallel to the shutters 11 of plate 1.
  • the core 431 is located near the notch 21.
  • the branches 432 define connecting ends 433 connected to the flap 42 on either side of the locking tongue 422.
  • the stirrup 43 and the flap 42 can be made in one piece, advantageously with the attachment heel 41.
  • the pull tab 44 is connected to the yoke 43 at the common core 431.
  • the tab comprises a free traction end 442 positioned in the notch 21 and a fastening strain 441 detachably connected to the core 431.
  • the removable closure member 34 advantageously comprises a sealing portion 431 sealingly positioned on the dispensing orifice 321 and a portion of attachment 342 attached to the leg 44. This is clearly visible on the figure 2 . Initially, before the first use, the flap 42 is pressed onto the plate 1. The pulling end 442 is then positioned in the notch 21 without protruding outside.
  • the user can grab the pull end 442 and pull it so as to pivot the flap 42 and detach the plug portion 341 from the dispensing orifice. Continuing to pull, the user will detach the tab 44 of the stirrup 43. This is visible on the figure 5 .
  • the organ removable closure 34 can remain attached to the tab 44, as can be seen on the figure 5 .
  • the flexible bag 3 is disposed between the stirrup 43 and the plate 1, as can be seen on the figure 1 , the flexible pouch 3 being shown in dashed line.
  • the caliper shape allows on the one hand a better distribution of the traction forces on the flap 42, but also allows a centered fixation of the pocket 3 at the point 312, shown in FIGS. Figures 3 and 4 which is located between the two branches.
  • the stirrup shape also makes it possible to make a stop contact between the common core 431 and the fold 12 at the end of traction, which has the consequence of detaching the tab 44 from the stirrup 43.
  • the pulling end is formed by the attachment portion 342 of the removable closure member 34 which would then form a gripping tab that can be grasped by the user.
  • the preferred embodiment uses a single piece forming the transmission stirrup 43, the hinged flap 42 and the attachment heel 41.
  • the two sheets 1 and 2 are also made in one piece.
  • the pull tab 44 is fixed on the yoke and the removable closure member 34 is attached to the dispensing orifice and on the tab.
  • the dispensing orifice 321 opens laterally and no longer at the top of the dispensing head as in the previous embodiment.
  • the actuating means, and in particular the traction member may be identical or almost identical.
  • the orifice is directed towards the traction member and the plate 2.
  • the pull tab 44 is positioned in the notch 21; the removable closure member 34 masks the orifice 321 and is connected to the tab 44 and the tab 44 is connected to the core 431 of the stirrup 43.
  • the tab or the soul is located just in front of the orifice still closed.
  • the core is pierced with an opening 4314 which is offset with respect to the orifice.
  • the plate 2 is provided with a window 24 at which the orifice is positioned. It is thus possible to grip the tab 44 in the notch 21 and to fire on it. This has the effect of moving the stirrup: the flap 42 is raised and the closing portion 341 is peeled off from the hole attachment portion 342 attached to the tab.
  • the orifice is completely cleared and the opening 4314 has shifted at the orifice substantially centrally with respect to the window 24 of the plate 2.
