Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a fluid dispenser comprising a fluid reservoir defining an actuating wall moveable and or deformable able to be moved or depressed, an orifice of distribution and spring means adapted to urge the deformable wall in a state of maximum volume of the tank.
  • the distributor, or at least the reservoir can for example be made from one or two flexible sheets forming the actuating wall. By depressing the actuating wall at against the spring means, the internal volume of the reservoir is reduced and fluid is thus discharged through the dispensing orifice. This is where of a classic design for a distributor in the field of perfumery, cosmetics or pharmacy.
  • the means of spring act on the wall by deforming it to a state of deformation in which it defines a state of maximum volume for the tank.
  • the deformation of the deformable wall due to the spring means is not always aesthetic and can therefore affect the appearance of the dispenser.
  • the spring means increase the total thickness of the dispenser which can be a major disadvantage in some cases of use.
  • the present invention aims to remedy this disadvantage mentioned above of the prior art by defining a fluid dispenser whose means spring does not detract from the aesthetics of the actuating wall, at least before using the dispenser.
  • the present invention provides that the means of spring co-operate with means of armament able to bring the means of spring in solicitation of the actuating wall from an initial state in which the spring means do not bias the actuating wall.
  • spring means do not act on the actuating wall in the initial state and the means of armament are used to confer on the means of spring their true and desired function, that is to say of solicitation of the wall actuating.
  • the dispenser of the invention can therefore be stored before use in a state in which the spring means do not act on the actuating wall. In the absence of stress, the actuating wall remains unconstrained and can thus present a suitable aesthetic appearance.
  • the spirit of the invention lies in the fact that the spring means perform their function at the appropriate time, in this case just before the use of the dispenser.
  • the actuating wall, and thus the distributor, can then remain in a perfectly flat state, suitable for use as that sample in magazines.
  • the arming means are located out of the tank.
  • the arming means may for example comprise a pivoting actuator.
  • a pivoting actuator may for example comprise a pivoting actuator.
  • an organ rotary or translational actuation may for example comprise a pivoting actuator.
  • the spring means and the arming means are made in one piece.
  • the spring means extend in the tank under the actuating wall.
  • the means of spring are integrated in the actuating wall.
  • the spring means and the means armaments are connected by a deformable zone.
  • the zone deformable is able to form a line of folding or articulation by pivoting.
  • the spring means and the means of armament comprise a substantially rigid foldable element defining a inner part which extends inside the tank and an outer part which extends outside the tank, the inner part forming the spring means and the outer portion forming the arming means.
  • the reservoir comprises two leaves, one of which defines the actuating wall, the folding element substantially rigid extending between the two sheets.
  • a substrate substantially rigid is interposed between the two sheets, said substrate forming the substantially rigid foldable element.
  • the substrate comprises a portion of reservoir forming a recess which defines, with the two sheets, said reservoir of fluid product.
  • the substrate further comprises a part actuator connected to the reservoir portion along a fold line.
  • the reservoir portion and the actuating portion have dimensions substantially identical, so that they can be superimposed after folding the along the fold line.
  • the internal part of the element foldable substrate extends in the same plane as the tank part, before folding of the actuating portion of the substrate forming the outer portion of the foldable element.
  • the dispensing orifice is closed by an organ removable shutter.
  • the reservoir contains almost only of the fluid product before removal of the removable closure member.
  • the arming means Before withdrawal of the removable closure member, or more generally before using the distributor, it is possible to actuate the arming means so as to activate the spring means biasing the actuating wall. Before actuation of the arming means, the spring means are inoperative on the actuating wall.

  • the spring means can for example be presented under the shape of a leaf spring incorporating arming means which does not become effective only after the first relaxation of the blade.

  • the means spacers are selectively movable between an inoperative position in which the two plates extend substantially parallel corresponding to a state of minimum tank volume and an operative position in which the two plates are spaced apart from each other.

  • the spring means include a front plate and a back plate, the tank being located between the front and rear plates, the arming means comprising means spacers positionable between the front plate and the back plate for at least locally away from each other, the spacer means being elastically deformable so as to allow a reconciliation of front and back plates and thus crush the tank located between them.
  • the product distributor fluid comprises a plate or substrate 1 having for example a thickness of the order of 1 to 2 mm and also having a certain rigidity.
  • the dispenser also comprises two sheets 2 and 3 arranged each side of the substrate 1. At least one of the two leaves, in this case the sheet 2, is flexible or deformable.
  • the other sheet 3 can also be flexible or deformable.
  • a sheet 3 that is perfectly rigid or even incorporated in the substrate 1. In fact, it is not excluded the substrate 1 can define a base such as the sheet 3.
  • the substrate 1 also forms a dispensing orifice. More specifically, the substrate 1 may comprise or form a housing in which is received a support piece 4 which defines the dispensing orifice 41. This support piece 4 also serves to fix a piece of material porous 5 adapted to imbibe fluid product by capillarity.
  • This support piece 4 also serves to fix a piece of material porous 5 adapted to imbibe fluid product by capillarity.
  • the dispensing orifice is directly formed by the substrate or even at one of the two sheets 2 and 3. In other words, the precise positioning of the dispensing orifice is not a critical feature for the present invention.
  • the dispensing orifice 41 is closed before use of the dispenser by a removable closure member 6 which may be under the shape of an easy grip tab.
  • a removable closure member 6 which may be under the shape of an easy grip tab.
  • To unmask the hole distribution 41 simply pull on the tongue 6 so as to tear it off substrate 1.
  • other forms can be imagined for the organ removable shutter.
  • the substrate 1 forms a reservoir portion 10 and a actuating part 11 connected together at a fold line AA which is materialized at the level of the substrate 1 in the form of two windows 13 which extend in the axis of the fold line AA.
  • These two elongated windows 13 realize a line of weakness that passes through the substrate 1 so that the substrate 1 tends to bend in half along the AA fold line if one exercises a pushing or pulling on the actuating portion 11 while holding the part 10 fixed tank.
  • the tank portion 10 forms a housing or internal recess 14 which form with the two sheets 2 and 3 the fluid reservoir 12.
  • the piece of support 4 which is received in the housing formed by the substrate 1 closes the recess 14 and holds the piece of porous material 5 so as to extend inside the tank 12, as can be seen in Figures 1 and 2. Thus, before removing the shutter tab 6, the interior of the tank 12 is isolated from the outside.
  • sheets 2 and 3 For fixing the sheets 2 and 3 on the substrate 1, it is possible for example use a bonding technique, or advantageously heat sealing.
  • the sheets 2 and 3 can thus be fixed or connected to the substrate 1 along lines which can for example extend all around the recess 14 and / or all around the outer contour of the substrate 1 as seen with lines of cross in Figure 1.
  • Sheets 2 and 3 may extend over the entire substrate 1, or only on a part thereof. For example, sheets 2 and 3 can only extend over the tank portion 10 of the substrate 1, and leave the actuating portion 11 devoid of sheet coating.
  • the reservoir 12 comprises spring means 7 which are adapted to urge the sheet 2 at an actuating wall 21 which is located at the reservoir 12, as can be seen in Figures 2 and 4.
  • the spring means 7 serve to urge the actuating wall 21 away from sheet 3, which of course is only possible after removal of the removable closure member 6.
  • the means of spring 7 can also urge the deformable actuating wall 21, but to a very limited extent. However, this does not preclude the deformable actuating wall 21 looks quite unsightly due to a irregular deformation.
  • the spring means 7 extend inside the tank 12 under the actuating wall 21. It is not excluded that the wall actuator 21 is connected or fixed to the spring means 7. This is not however not required.
  • the spring means 7 can be an integral part of the substrate 1 as is the case in the embodiment of Figures 1 to 5.
  • the spring means 7 may for example be in the form of a lobe or pallet that extends inside the tank 12. In practice, this pallet 7 is obtained during the formation of the recess 14 leaving a part central connected to an edge of the recess 14 by a bridge 9.
  • the spring means then extend inside the recess 14 in the form of a peninsula or of an isthmus. However, this is only one form of specific to that of Figures 1 to 5. It is of course possible to imagine other forms for the spring means.
  • One of the essential features is the the spring means extend inside the tank 12.
  • the spring means 7 are formed here directly by the 1, they have the same thickness as the part of the substrate 1 which makes them surrounded. Without any solicitation, the spring means 7 extend exactly in the same plane as the tank part 10 surrounding them. Therefore, the spring means 7 do not bias the deformable wall 21 in deformation: it can therefore remain unconstrained in a suitable aesthetic state.
  • the spring means 7 cooperate with means in the form of the actuating part 11 formed by the substrate 1. More precisely, the lobe or the spring pallet 7 communicates with the actuating portion 11 via the bridge 9 which connects to the actuating portion 11 between the two elongated windows 13. By therefore, the fold line AA passes between the bridge 9 and the part actuator 11 of the substrate. Looking at Figure 1, we can even say that the actuating part 11 is connected only to the bridge 9 since the windows elongations 13 substantially separate the actuating portion 11 from the part of the tank 10. The bridge 9 is practically the only solid link and substantially rigid between the spring means 7 and the actuating portion 11 which forms the arming means according to the invention.
  • a pivoting of the actuating portion 11 along the folding line AA by holding the tank part 10 fixedly has the effect to rotate the pallet 7 and the deck 9 in the same direction but beyond the folding line AA because of the relatively rigid connection which connects them, in the occurrence of the bridge 9.
  • the drive of the spring means 7 by the actuating part 11 is very quickly limited and stopped by the sheet 2 which is connected to the substrate 1.
  • the spring means 7 will deform the sheet 2 to define the actuating wall 21 to a state of maximum deformation which corresponds to the maximum volume of the tank 12. This is however true after removal of the removable closure member 6.
  • the pallet 7 will of course be biased against the actuating wall 21, but this will only deform very slightly.
  • the actuating portion 11 has dimensions substantially identical or even perfectly identical to those of the part of tank 10 so that when fully connected, the actuating part 11 is placed exactly under the tank part 10.
  • the spring means 7 and the arming means 11 can also be considered as a substantially rigid foldable element that defines a inner part, in this case the pallet 7 and the deck 9, which extends inside the tank 12 and an outer part, in this case the actuating part 11 which extends outside the tank.
  • Such an element is foldable at the level of the part 91.
  • Foldable element could then be in the form of a tongue or a slat of which a part penetrates inside the tank and the other part is located outside the tank.
  • a dispenser comprising other spring means, directly incorporating the arming means.
  • the dispenser is formed from two sheets or a shell and a sheet or a shell and a plate: in the example shown, it is a shell 2 and a sheet 3.
  • a support piece 4 is fixed between the shell and the sheet and defines the outlet orifice 41 which is closed by a detachable tongue 6.
  • a reservoir 12 is formed between the shell 2 and the sheet 3.
  • This reservoir contains a spring 7 'which has the effect of soliciting the hull in away from the leaf.
  • This spring 7 ' comprises two branches 71 and 72 connected together by a bend 70.
  • the spring also includes a tab 73 which extends to from the branch 71 to the branch 72.

  • the plate 76 "forms a flap 763 connected to the remainder of the plate by an articulation line 762. In the initial position, the flap 763 is folded and plated on the plate 76 ", as can be seen in Figure 12.
  • a pocket flexible 23 is provided with a dispensing orifice 231 and advantageously a piece of porous material 234. The pocket 23 is disposed between the two plates.
  • the dispensing orifice 231 is disposed at the level of the opening 751.
  • an opening band 62 which acts as a means of actuator, comprises an end 621 connected to the flap 763 and a opposite end of traction 622. Between these two ends, the band passes to level of the dispensing orifice 231 to form a shutter member therein The strip 62 thus extends from the flap 763 to the orifice of distribution 231; then the band forms a fold so that it extends over the first part of the band. This is visible in Figure 12. Once the plate 75 " folded and fixed on the plate 76 ", only the pulling end 622 protrudes from the envelope formed by the plates.
  • the dispenser is as shown in Figure 13a.
  • the dispenser By pulling tape by grasping it by pulling end 622, we start by removing the removable closure member 6 of the dispensing orifice 231. This is shown in Figure 13b.
  • Continuing to pull on the band 62 rotate the flap 763 around the line 762 until its tongue 766 comes to lodge in the window 755. Additional traction can for example be used to disassociate the band 62 from the flap 763.
  • a distributor identical to that of Figure 9.
  • This actuating strip 62 thus fulfills a dual function, namely that of removal of the removable closure member and arming.
  • arming means allow to bring spring means initially inoperative in a solicitation configuration in which they drive elastically to least one actuating wall of a reservoir in a state of maximum volume of the tank.
