Description

The present invention relates to a shelter of the type consisting in particular of several adjacent roof elements which are held by an eccentric horizontal arm connected to a vertical holding post.

Different types of shelter of this type are thus known which comprise, according to the applications that one wishes to make, from one to four roofing elements. The implementation of shelters of this type encounters a certain number of problems both at the level of manufacturing and at the level of implementation, which arise, on the one hand, from the difficulty of ensuring, in a simple and effective, an adjustment of the roof elements in position relative to each other and, secondly, the difficulty posed by the discharge of runoff, especially at the junction between the roof elements and to that of the global evacuation of these waters. Regarding this evacuation of water, FR-1,424,142 proposes a metal frame comprising hollow profile whose bottom is sloped.

The present invention thus aims to provide a shelter including multiple roof that allows to ensure a simple, easy and effective inexpensive positioning of each roof element so as firstly to make the appearance of the roof. aesthetically pleasing shelter and, on the other hand, effective drainage of runoff water.

The present invention thus relates to a shelter of the type consisting of at least one polygonal roof element held in position by an end of a substantially horizontal arm whose other end is held by a vertical pole, characterized in that the arm is connected to the post by connecting means adapted to allow adjustment of the inclination of the arm both in the vertical direction and in the horizontal direction.

To ensure effective evacuation of rainwater the base of the roof element may be provided with a peripheral gutter and the vertical pole will be crossed by a pipe which opens at its upper part on a collector element and which is connected by its base to means of evacuation of rainwater. Similarly, the roof element will be arranged in such a way that two of its neighboring sides converge towards the center of the pole and this point of convergence will be at a level slightly lower than that of the remainder of the roof element and will thus constitute a "Low point" located above the collecting means. This low point will include an evacuation orifice located at the right of the collector element.

Furthermore, the inner end of the arm will be provided with a vertical plate adapted to be fixed on the post by means of screws which pass through it, the inclination of this plate, and therefore of the arm, in the vertical plane and in the plane horizontal relative to the post being a function of the value of depression of this plate on the screws.

According to the invention the outer end of the arm will ensure the vertical maintenance of a post which will itself maintain triangular elements consisting of three elements forming a right triangle, namely a parallel vertical element and substantially the same length as the post, a horizontal element that forms a diagonal of the roof element and an element connected to the upper part of the post at the end of the horizontal element, said end constituting an anchor point of an angle of the roof element.

These triangulated elements will preferably have adjustment means able to allow positioning of the anchoring points in the vertical direction and in the horizontal direction.

There is shown in the figures a shelter according to the invention which is composed of two roof elements whose base is square.

This shelter thus consists of a vertical support post 1 of the upper part of which two horizontal holding arms 3 extend. Each of the arms 3 supports a vertical post 5 on which three triangulated elements 35 are fixed, the ends of these triangular elements constituting anchoring points of the lower corners of a roof 9 and comprise for this purpose fastening elements 6.

The post 1 consists of a tubular element which is connected by its base to an anchoring mass 10 provided in the ground.

Le positionnement de ces écrous 23 permet également d'incliner la platine 19 d'un angle 90°-β plus ou moins important par rapport à l'axe vertical zz' du poteau 1.According to the invention, and as shown in Figures 3 and 4 , the horizontal arm 3 is connected to the support post 1 by means for performing its adjustment in position, namely in the vertical plane (arrow V) and in the horizontal plane (arrow H). In this Indeed, the upper part of the post 1 is provided with two horizontal plates 16, 18 which are fixed thereto by any means, and in particular for example, by welding means, and the end portion of the arm 3 is provided as to it has a vertical plate 19 which is stiffened on the arm 3 by means of two gussets 21. The plates 16 and 18 are pierced with threaded horizontal holes in which are taken place studs 23 which pass through the vertical plate 19, the latter being maintained on each bolt by two nuts 22. It is thus understood that depending on the position of these nuts 22 on the studs 23, it is possible to incline more or less the axis uu 'of the arm 3 by an angle α relative to the transverse axis xx 'of the plates 16 and 18, as shown in FIG. figure 9 . The positioning of these nuts 23 also makes it possible to incline the plate 19 by a 90 ° -β angle more or less important with respect to the vertical axis zz 'of the post 1.

It is thus clear that, thanks to this particularly simple device to implement, the user has the possibility of ensuring the adjustment of the arm 3 in a certain angular amplitude both vertically and horizontally, with respect to a reference position.

Such an embodiment is particularly advantageous in the case where the device consists of a plurality of roof elements 9, that is to say two roof elements, as shown in FIGS. Figures 1 and 2 , or four roof elements as shown on the Figures 6 and 7 . We thus figured on it, in lines dotted, the possible relative positions of the roof elements with respect to their reference position.

The roofing elements 9 can be made of a light frame, for example a tubular frame 13 coated with a stretched fabric 14, or be instead constituted by a rigid cover made of a molded plastic material.

According to the invention, the periphery of the roof elements is provided with a gutter 25 which is intended to collect the runoff water and to lead the latter to an evacuation. As shown on the figure 3 and 4 the vertical post 1 is traversed by a tube 30 terminating at its upper part by a funnel-shaped collector 32 which is threaded inside the support post 1 and which is intended to collect the runoff water and to driving through it via line 33 to recovery lines connected to storm sewerage sewers.

The adjustment device according to the present invention is particularly advantageous in such an application because it makes it possible to adjust precisely the inclination of the roof elements so as to converge towards the collector 32 two adjacent gutters 25 of each roof element 9, so as to bring the rainwater into a lower part of the gutter 25 pierced with an outlet orifice 36 located at the right of the manifold 32.

Le quatrième angle vient, quant à lui, se fixer sur un élément de fixation 6' qui est disposé sur le bras 3.According to the invention, the roof elements 9 are held at each of their angles. This maintenance is ensured by means of the post 5 which is fixed at the free end of the arm 3, this post ensuring the maintenance of three triangular elements 35 which have the shape of a right triangle, namely a small side 35a which is extends vertically and parallel to the post 5, another side 35b which extends horizontally, and a third side 35c constituting the hypotenuse of this right triangle. These triangulated elements 35 are distributed along the diagonals of the roof element 9 and comprise at their three ends the fastening elements 6 ensuring the maintenance of the base of three of the four corners of the roof elements 9. The fourth angle comes, as for to it, attach to a fastening element 6 'which is arranged on the arm 3.

According to the invention, each of the free ends of the triangulated element 35 provided with the fixing means 6 is able to move both in a horizontal plane and also in a vertical plane. For this purpose, the post 5, which preferably has the shape of a cylinder of square cross section, is provided at its upper part and at its lower part with two plates 38,39. The upper plate 38 receiving the upper part of the triangulated element 35 and the lower part thereof ( figure 10 ) is adjustable in distance with the post 5 so that this triangulated element can perform a pivoting movement around its upper attachment on the plate 38 and this by adjusting the distance e separating the base from the side 35a of the post 5. For this purpose, the side 35a is traversed by a threaded rod 40, one end of which is provided with a part 42 at 90 ° which bears on the angle 5 'of the post 5, two nuts 44 to ensure the adjustment of the distance e and once it is done, fixing.

The various means of adjustment which are provided with the holding elements of the roof element allow a setting up of the latter which is both fast and convenient, and allows to ensure a rigorous adjustment of the gutters collecting the rainwater for lead them to the center of the pole 3 from which they are then evacuated to the rainwater collection means. But it could of course according to the invention to use any other adjustment means.

  2. A shelter according to claim 1, characterised in that the base of the roof element (9) is fitted with a peripheral gutter (25).
  3. A shelter according to one of the previous claims, characterised in that the vertical pole (1) is traversed by a conduit (30) that opens at its upper part into a collecting element (32), and which is connected at its base to means for the removal of rainwater.
  4. A shelter according to one of claims 1 or 2, characterised in that the roof element (9) is positioned so that two of its adjacent sides converge toward the centre of the pole (1).
  5. A shelter according to claims 3 and 4, characterised in that the point of convergence of the two adjacent sides of the roof element (9) is located at a slightly lower level than that of the rest of the roof element, and thus constitutes a "low point", located below the collecting means (32).
  6. A shelter according to claim 5, characterised in that the low point includes a drainage orifice (36) located in line with the collecting element (32).
  7. A shelter according to one of the previous claims, characterised in that the inner end of the arm (3) is fitted with a vertical plate (19) that is designed to be fixed onto the pole (1) by means of screws (22) that pass through it, where the slope of this plate (19), and therefore of the arm (3), in the vertical plane and in the horizontal plane, is a function of the extent to which this plate (19) is pressed inward by the screws (22).
  8. A shelter according to one of the previous claims, characterised in that the outer end of the arm (3) provides the vertical support for a small post (5), which itself provides support for triangular elements (35) composed of three elements forming a triangle-rectangle, namely a vertical element (35a) that is parallel to and substantially of the same length as the small post (5), a horizontal element (35b) which forms a diagonal of the roof element (9), and an element (35c) that connects the upper part of the small post (5) to the end of the horizontal element (35b), with said end constituting an anchor point (6) for one corner of the roof element (9).
  9. A shelter according to claim 8, characterised in that the triangular elements are equipped with adjustment means that are designed to enable positioning of the anchor points (6) in the vertical direction and in the horizontal direction.
