Definitions
- the invention relates to an elevator with an elevator car and a counterweight, wherein the elevator car and the counterweight are connected to each other by means of a guided via a pulley rope and the counterweight compensates the weight of the elevator car and a portion of the payload.
- an elevator has become known with an elevator car and a counterweight, wherein the elevator car is connected to the counterweight by means of a carrying cable guided via a traction sheave.
- the counterweight balances 50% payload and cabin weight.
- the counterweight compensates for the cabin weight and less than 40% of the payload.
- the elevator is operated with the smaller selected prime mover and with a reduced operating speed profile.
- a disadvantage of the known device is that the counterweight is dimensioned on the assumption that the full payload is only rarely to be transported.
- the efficiency of the elevator is reduced with the reduced operating speed profile whenever the demand for transport performance is greatest.
- the problem of traction is to be solved in an undercompensation, even if only a few trips are carried out with full cabin load.
- the traction must also be designed for QA ⁇ Q.
- the motor must generate a torque proportional to QA ⁇ Q, with the required current increasing even at reduced speed. Overloading of the motor or the inverter is not excluded.
- Driving downhill creates more energy to be recuperated which, for example, has to be converted into heat in a braking resistor.
- a disadvantage of this device is the depositing or recording of weight elements while driving.
- the change in the counterweight while driving causes considerable noise in the elevator shaft and makes a jerk-free ride of the elevator car impossible.
- this facility is only functional if the traffic volume changes the possibilities of Counterweight or when the elevator car on the ground floor has full payload and is emptied on the way up.
- a weight-adjustable counterweight for a lift has become known.
- a coupling device is provided, by means of which an additional weight can be connected to the main weight.
- the additional weight is coupled with heavy traffic and deposited in the shaft pit in poor traffic.
- the invention aims to remedy this situation.
- the invention as characterized in claim 1 solves the problem of avoiding the disadvantages of the known device and to provide a lift with optimized balance between the elevator car and counterweight.
- the elevator is operated at peak traffic with a 1000 kg payload and in normal traffic with a 630 kg payload, with a 50% payload compensation 500 kg or 315 kg are compensated by the counterweight. If too many passengers board at the smaller payload the elevator control an overload alarm and asks to get off. With optimally compensated elevator cars (the smallest possible weight difference between loaded elevator car and counterweight), the risk of slippage between the carrier cable and the traction sheave is also lower.
- the weight adjustment in the counterweight is carried out by receiving or delivering at least one additional weight and can be done manually or automatically, for example, due to a traffic measurement or a peak traffic schedule.
- the device according to the invention substantially improves the energy efficiency of poorly utilized elevator cars. 99.9% of all journeys are made with less than 80% Payload carried out and 80% of all trips are carried out with less than 20% payload. With the variable counterweight can be counteracted.
- the prime mover can be designed for smaller compensation factors or for smaller payload compensations if a justifiable overload factor is justifiable for individual trips at full load.
- Fig. 1 shows a counterweight 1 an elevator system, which is movable in a lift shaft along guide rails.
- An elevator car which can be moved along guide rails in the elevator shaft is connected to the counterweight 1 by means of a cable 2 guided via a cable pulley, the cable 2 engaging the upper yoke.
- at least one guide roller may be arranged on the yoke 3 instead of the cable end.
- the counterweight 1 consists of an upper yoke 3, a lower yoke 4, a first side shield 5, a second Side plate 6 and of weight elements 7.
- the cross-sectionally, for example, U-shaped side plates 5,6 are connected to the yokes 3,4 and have downwards depending on a free extension 5.1,6.1.
- Fig. 2 shows an attachable to the counterweight 1 additional weight 8, which consists of a yoke 9 with rods 10. Weight elements 11 are attachable to the rods 10. On the narrow side of the yoke 9 holes 9.1 are provided, which serve to couple the additional weight 8 to the counterweight 1.
- Fig. 3 shows the counterweight 1 in the lowest position, in which the elevator car is on the top floor.
- the free extensions 5.1,6.1 of the side plates 5,6 are passed on the narrow sides of the arranged in the shaft pit additional weight 8. If the total weight of the counterweight 1, for example, must be increased due to a higher payload of the elevator car, a coupling device 12 is actuated.
- the coupling device 12 establishes a detachable connection between the counterweight 1 and the additional weight 8 and is arranged on the extensions 5.1, 6. 1 of the side plates 5, 6.
- the additional weights 8 are arranged one above the other and can be individually coupled or disconnected to the counterweight 1.
- a motorized screwdriver may be provided which rotates a screw through the side plate 5.1,6.1 in the bore 9.1 and removed from the bore 9.1.
- an electromechanically actuable gripper may be provided per side shield 5, 6 which engages or releases the yoke 9 of the additional weight 8.
- At least one latchable bolt can be provided per side shield 5, 6, which can be pushed into the bore 9.1 by means of electromechanical plunger through the side plate 5, 6 or can be removed from the bore 9.1.
- a manual coupling device 12 may be provided by, for example, lockable, manually operable bolts connect the counterweight 1 with the additional weight 8 on the side plates 5.6 or solve.
- the bolts can be actuated for example by means of Bowden cable.
