Definitions

  • the invention relates to all or part of a sports shoe comprising a decoration, and is particularly suitable for boards for gliding such as skiing, surfing or skating shoe, which are used in abrasive environments. It also relates to the method of manufacturing such a shoe.
  • Shoes for sliding sports require a good compromise between the constraints of comfort and rigidity. The latter is necessary in order to allow the user to precisely guide the gliding machine and feel the response of the machine to his solicitations.
  • the shoes generally consist of a shell and a collar, part of which is in a rigid plastic material.
  • the decoration of such shoes is often sober and made by hot stamping on the outer surface of the shell or collar.
  • the decorations obtained are often damaged by the abrasive environment during the use of the shoe and in the case of skiing or surfing, they also suffer unintentional blows caused by the edges that cause unsightly scratches on these decorations. Such decorations are therefore unsustainable.
  • such a decorating process is restrictive because it adds a long and expensive step to the manufacturing process of sports shoes.
  • U 2003/0084595 A1 discloses a shoe serving as a basis for claims 1 and 13.
  • a first object of the present invention is to provide a sports shoe comprising a decoration, the latter possibly being large, of any shape, which may comprise a large number of colors, and being resistant to the constraints imposed by the use of the sports shoe and adapted to the complex shape of the shoe surface.
  • a second object of the present invention is to provide a sports shoe with decoration whose manufacturing process is simple and the additional cost remains negligible.
  • a third object of the present invention is to provide a sports shoe with decoration whose weight remains minimal.
  • the sports shoe comprises at least one transparent wall portion having a decoration directly made on its surface inside, so that it is visible from the outside and protected from external aggressions.
  • the sports shoe according to the invention comprises a shell or cuff type part of which at least a wall portion is transparent or translucent and contains a decoration directly made on its inner face so as to leave visible the decoration from the outside and to protect it.
  • the decoration may be a screen printing and / or lacquer and / or varnish imprint on the inner face of the wall.
  • the decoration may also consist of a support comprising the decoration and fixed on the inner face of the wall by an adhesive means.
  • the support can be the adhesive medium, be a sticker or decal type.
  • the decoration can also result from a hot transfer from a ribbon or label.
  • the sports shoe can be a ski boot, the part of the shoe being the polyurethane shell and the decoration being disposed on the side parts of the shell.
  • the decoration may be alphanumeric and / or four-color.
  • It may contain information for managing the sports shoe, for example by means of a barcode type part.
  • the realization of the decoration can be done by a method of screen printing type and / or by application of a lacquer and / or varnish.
  • the realization of the decoration can be done by a hot stamping step.
  • the embodiment of the decoration may consist in arranging a support containing the decoration by means of an adhesive means on the inside face of the wall.
  • this step may consist in removing a sheet of the decoration medium in order to obtain the adhesive effect of the adhesive means.
  • the realization of the decoration may comprise a sticking step of a sticker, the decoration medium being a sticker.
  • FIG. 2 shows in section the structure of the shell 3. It consists essentially of a transparent or translucent wall 11 made of a plastic material, for example a polyurethane, comprising a decoration 8 directly made on its inner face 12, visible since the outside thanks to the transparency of layer 11.
  • a transparent or translucent wall 11 made of a plastic material, for example a polyurethane, comprising a decoration 8 directly made on its inner face 12, visible since the outside thanks to the transparency of layer 11.
  • This decoration 8 can be achieved by a screen printing, or any other printing technique.
  • all the marking processes used today to decorate the outer faces of sports shoes remain compatible with the concept of the invention and can be applied to the inner face of the transparent wall.
  • this decoration can be achieved by means of a support 7 decoration 8, shown in Figure 2, which can be a conventional sticker paper, consisting of a face containing the decoration 8 and an adhesive means this face being covered by a protective sheet which is removed just before the arrangement of the support 7 on the shoe.
  • This support 7 is directly bonded to the inner face 12 of the transparent wall 11 of the shoe.
  • the support 7 of the decoration 8 is chosen thin and flexible, paper, plastic or a sticky element natural or synthetic for example, so as to marry the non-planar surface of the wall 11 of the shell 3.
  • the decoration 8 can be obtained very simply by printing from a computer printer.
  • the decoration may be arranged according to the decal method, which will therefore consist in applying the support on the wall 11 of the shoe by removing the sheet from below the decoration.
  • the decoration can be obtained by the method of hot transfer from a label or a ribbon
  • the shell shown in Figure 2 comprises in place a second wall 10 of polyurethane, optionally superimposed on the wall 11, according to a known combination of the prior art to improve the rigidity and comfort of the shoe.
  • the transparent part of the wall 11 can be reduced to a simple window 13 corresponding to the location of the decoration 8.
  • the transparent wall portion 11 thus fulfills the dual function of being a main constituent element of the shell, the main function of which is more precisely the rigidity and comfort, while fulfilling the function of support and protection of the decoration, since it represents a barrier against external aggression for decoration.
  • the decoration has been arranged on the lateral part of the shell of the shoe. However, it could be placed on another surface of the shell 3 or on the sleeve 4.
  • the decoration method according to the invention can be combined with the conventional decoration methods of the prior art, based on decorations of the outer surface of the walls of the shoes. It is thus possible to increase the possible aesthetic effects by obtaining for example reliefs by two overlapping decorations in different planes.
  • the decoration can be more than just a decoration and contain information useful for the management of sports shoes for rental companies for example.
  • the decoration can be barcode type or any equivalent to indicate an identification number of the shoe. It can also allow the identification of the lessor who owns the sports shoe. This can enable him to automate the shoe rental process through a step of rapid identification of the shoe. He can also easily and securely identify his own shoes.
