Definitions
- the present invention relates to a built-in microwave oven with internal ventilation comprising an outer enclosure intended to be inserted in a niche located in a kitchen unit.
- the invention proposes to provide the internal ventilation of said enclosure, the areas to be ventilated in this chamber being of two types: the areas to be cooled on the one hand and the areas to be dried on the other hand.
- the areas to be cooled are all electrical or electronic components which, by the Joules effect, give off heat.
- the zones to be dried are those that are present inside the cooking cavity, namely, in particular, the door and the walls of this cavity on which the water vapor, emitted during the heating of the food by the microwaves. waves, tends to condense.
- the known microwave ovens have, for many of them, at least one of these orifices located on a face other than the front face. This requires a recess providing a natural air circulation space and to bring the air inlets and outlets in the plane of the front of the oven or to provide a chimney on the back of the cabinet Recessed.
- the request for US4332993 as for it describes a device that is positioned on the air inlet and outlet openings disposed on the top of the oven and which, by the presence of a turbine, ensures the entry and exit of air in the air. enclosure of said furnace.
- microwave oven described in the document DE 31 04 677 A1 .
- This document describes a microwave oven comprising a cooling device divided into at least two individual spaces, each of which has a separate air circulation.
- this baking oven has the disadvantage of being provided with a cooling device with two hot and humid air outlet openings located at the upper part and at the rear of the oven so as to repress two streams of water. hot and humid air in a chimney formed in the niche housing the microwave oven.
- the object of the invention is to provide a built-in microwave oven does not impose any constraint on the niche to receive it, it simply presenting the standard dimensions proposed by kitchen furniture manufacturers.
- the invention thus facilitates the integration of said oven in a kitchen.
- the invention proposes, moreover, to do it economically.
- the air circuit inside the microwave oven is as follows: the air enters through the air inlet located in the upper zone of the front of the oven, above the door , it passes through a first technical area being sucked by the fan, before being divided into two streams at the output of the fan.
- the first flow passes through a second technical zone then will dry the door, then the inside of the cooking cavity, before joining a fourth technical zone.
- the second flow goes through a third technical zone before joining the fourth technical zone.
- the two flows meet in the technical area before leaving the oven through the openings positioned in the lower part of the front of the oven, below the door.
- this zone between the air intake and the fan, is slightly depressed and bathed by fresh air from the atmosphere of the room.
- the magnetron placed, according to a preferred feature of the invention, in the second technical zone, cools by heating the flow that passes through it before being introduced into the cooking cavity, allowing this heated air to increase its temperature. drying capacity of the cooking cavity and heating the door and walls of said cavity to prevent condensation.
- the supply of the magnetron ideally placed in a third technical zone and preferably in the lowest part of this zone, is cooled by the third flow, while being advantageously positioned in the lower part of the furnace. This positioning in the lower part facilitates the design of the device, said power supply being a high mass member and therefore constraining the structure.
- the water vapor that escapes from heated food and has a natural tendency to rise once it is no longer in an imposed circuit comes out in the lower part. from the oven.
- it has time to dilute in the air before risking to be deposited on the cabinet wall located immediately above the oven. This preserves the aesthetic and functional qualities of the piece of furniture.
- the outlet of the first flow which has passed through the cooking cavity is effected in the upper part thereof. This flow then descends through a fifth technical area located between the side walls of the chamber and the cavity before finding the second stream in the fourth technical area. This gives it time to cool down before being expelled outside the oven.
- FIG. 1 there is shown a perspective view of a microwave oven according to the invention. This view makes it possible, in particular, to clearly visualize the various components that will intervene in the description that follows. Of course, many components such as those involved in driving the tray of the oven or its lighting are not represented or described here because they do not differ from devices well known to those skilled in the art and present on current ovens.
- the figures 1 and 2 allow to illustrate the air circulation in the technical zone 4a.
- the air enters the zone 4a through the openings 5 located on the front of the oven, between the front door 3 and the control panel 8. It cools the electronic components 7 which are located behind the control panel and / or in other locations within said area 4a. Then it enters one of the two turbines 11b or 11c of the fan, said turbines both being rotated by the motor 11a.
- the technical zone 4a is in depression due to the suction provided by the fan 11.
- the fan 11 is formed of a motor 11a and two turbines 11b and 11c is very advantageous economically. However, it may be envisaged to replace it with two fans with a single turbine without departing from the scope of the invention.
- the figures 1 and 3 illustrate the flow of air in Technical Zone 4b.
- the technical zone 4b is formed of a first air guide 12, the magnetron 9 and a second air guide 13.
- This technical zone 4b is bathed by the flow b from the turbine 11b .
- the first air guide 12 directs the flow under pressure towards the magnetron 9.
- the air is at a temperature within a range of 35 to 55 ° C. and preferably 45 ° C.
- Said magnetron 9 is crossed and thereby cooled by the flow b.
- the flow b is then directed towards the front of the oven thanks to the air guide 13 which communicates with the cooking cavity 2 through inlet openings (not shown) in the sheet forming the upper wall of the cooking cavity 2 , said inlet openings being located just above the door 3.
- the stream b has warmed through the magnetron 9, it has gained about 40 ° C, then in a temperature range between 75 and 95 ° C, it has thus, interestingly, increased its ability to heat and dry the interior of the door 3 and the elements of the cooking cavity 2 in order to avoid condensation.
- the figures 1 and 4 allow to illustrate the air circulation in the technical zone 4c.
- the turbine 11c directly blows the flow c on the supply 10 of the magnetron 9, which is one of the elements present in the technical zone 4c, in order to cool it, in compliance with the standards in force, while ensuring good aptitude for the function.
- Other components may be present in this technical area 4c, but they are not directly concerned by this invention and have therefore not been represented.
- the supply 10 of the magnetron 9 is in the lower part of the technical zone 4c and therefore in the lower part of the furnace. This position is particularly interesting for economic reasons. Indeed, in this position, the power supply 10 of the magnetron 9 is directly fixed on the bottom of the oven and it is not necessary to provide a reinforced area to receive it, as may be necessary if said power supply. 10 of the magnetron 9 was placed in height.
- the technical zone 4c is separated from the technical zones 4d and 4e by a perforated wall 14 whose main role is to maintain the cavity 2 in position.
- the number and the position of the openings 15 present in this wall can be modulated, without departing from the scope of the invention, provided that at least one opening 15 is provided for the flow c to join the technical zone 4 e , either directly, via technical area 4d.
- the figures 1 and 5 illustrate the air circulation in zone 4d.
- the flow b comes out of the cooking cavity 2 through outlet openings (not shown) located in the upper part of the cooking cavity 2, said outlet openings being on the upper wall of the cooking cavity 2, or in the upper part of the vertical walls of the cooking cavity 2.
- the stream b is guided to the technical area 4d which is located on one side of the oven, or preferably on both sides thereof.
- the stream b then joins the bottom of the furnace to the technical zone 4e.
- the figures 1 and 6 allow to illustrate the air circulation in zone 4e.
- the streams b and c meet in the technical zone 4e before leaving the oven through the openings 6 positioned in the lower part of the front facade of the oven, below the door 3.
- the power supply 10 of the magnetron 9 is a high voltage transformer. It is equally conceivable whether it is a switching power supply or "inverter".
- the air inlet 5 is located, still in the upper part of the front of the oven, but above the control strip 8 or it is separated into several openings around the control panel 8.
- an oven according to the invention makes it possible to preserve the furniture present around said oven. Indeed, the moist air rejected at the outlet of air 6 will not go directly to lick the furniture located above the recess of the oven. It will have time to dilute and therefore have a lower moisture content before coming into contact with colder surfaces and likely to fear moisture.
- the fan 11 being relatively far from the air outlet 6, the speed of the air leaving the oven is not very high and thus reduces the risk of discomfort for the user standing in front of the oven.
- the user feels less air flow than if the fan was in the immediate vicinity of the outlet.
- the air output is at a temperature substantially lower than that which is generally found at the output of this type of chamber. 'apparatus.
- the air expelled from the furnace according to the invention has a temperature in the range between 35 and 55 ° C and ideally close to 45 ° C.
- the characteristics described above are those of a microwave oven using this single cooking means, but the invention can also be applied to an oven having, in addition to the microwave cooking mode, other modes of cooking. cooking that can work alone or in combination, such as a grill mode (direct heating thanks to a shielded resistor, a quartz or a halogen) or a rotating heat mode (injection into the cavity, thanks to a fan, heated air using an armored resistor).
- a grill mode direct heating thanks to a shielded resistor, a quartz or a halogen
- a rotating heat mode injection into the cavity, thanks to a fan, heated air using an armored resistor.
- the invention responds to the need to provide internal ventilation of a built-in microwave oven, in a simple, effective and economical way and allowing embedding in any integrated kitchen niche having standard dimensions without imposing on it in said niche of specific areas to ensure the flow of air and that in the best respect of the surrounding furniture and comfort of the user.
