Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for the storage of liquids, at least below certain gases release gases.
- it is about the Storage of liquids that release vapors or gases when heated, such as liquid mineral oil products such as gasoline or the like.
- liquids that release vapors or gases when heated, such as liquid mineral oil products such as gasoline or the like.
- Such substances are in Tanks, stored in particular in flat-bottom tanks according to DIN 4119.
- In the tanks is above a liquid volume depending on the height of a smaller or larger gas volume.
- Usually, such tanks are atmospheric influences and thus exposed to temperature fluctuations.
- By the Filling the tanks reduces the available gas volume.
- In the Storage of gasoline evaporates volatile carbon compounds.
- the displaced or additional gas volume may be in the atmospheric environment discharged or collected, liquefied and recycled.
- the tax in the Atmosphere is in extreme cases harmful to the environment and should therefore be avoided.
- the inventive method is characterized in that one in the gas volume in particular by heating / cooling occurring overpressure and / or negative pressure is held at least up to an upper and / or lower limit.
- the gas volume is with a changeable gas tank volume.
- changes are made to the Gas volume initially balanced by the variable gas tank volume.
- Overpressure and / or vacuum essentially only become effective after the variable gas tank volume has reached an upper or lower limit. in the Result is so a breathing gas volume, which also only under special Conditions - after exceeding / falling below certain limits - with the Environment contacts.
- the gas from the gas volume after exceeding a Over-pressure limit delivered to the environment can occur for example, when heated, in connection with a filling and optionally in conjunction with depletion of the variable gas tank volume.
- the excess pressure limit is 2000-20000 Pa, in particular 5000-10000 Pa. A value of about 6000 Pa is preferred.
- the gas volume decreases after falling below a negative pressure limit Air from the environment.
- the limit can be fallen below for example, by cooling, emptying of the tank contents, if necessary minimized gas tank volume.
- the negative pressure limit is preferably -5000 to -100 Pa, especially at -2000 to -500 Pa.
- the aim is a value of about -1000 Pa.
- VRU Vapor Recovery Unit steam recovery unit.
- VOC Volatile Organic Components
- the present invention also relates to a container for storing liquids, wherein the liquids at least under certain climatic conditions gases release, in particular a container for storage of liquid mineral oil products such as gasoline or the like, wherein in the container above a volume of liquid Gas volume is connected and the gas volume with an inlet and an outlet is.
- the container according to the invention is characterized in that the outlet with a Pressure relief valve and / or the inlet are provided with a vacuum valve. Only after If a certain limit value is exceeded, the pressure relief valve allows gas to pass. Similarly, the vacuum valve is set to a certain limit, after which Below the gas can flow into the interior of the container, such as ambient air or gas from a gas supply.
- a connection from the container to a variable gas tank volume such as a gasometer, such that Changes in the gas volume initially due to the variable gas tank volume are compensable. Only when the variable gas tank volume is completely filled and an overpressure is applied, the relief valve at the outlet responds. Analogously, this applies to the vacuum valve at the inlet in conjunction with completely empty gas tank volume.
- the invention also relates to a system consisting of several, containers described above, wherein the gas spaces of the container by a common gas line to compensate for the pressures are connected.
- different Pressures in the containers are based on the principle of communicating tubes balanced.
- the above measures and facilities can be several Be associated with containers at the same time.
- a pressure relief valve as an outlet valve and / or a vacuum valve arranged as an inlet valve.
- a pressure relief valve as an outlet valve and / or a vacuum valve arranged as an inlet valve.
- a VRU a vacuum valve arranged as an inlet valve.
- Tanks according to DIN 4119 are preferably provided as containers, but with reinforced ones Execution and special foundation, which the forces on one (im Cross-section) receives lower tank corner
- the containers are preferably taking into account high safety Requirements, such as with double bottom, leak detectors, double walls or according to the tank-in-tank principle.
- Advantageous is a white one Exterior coating for cost-effective minimization of solar radiation Warming.
- An inventive system 10 is for the storage of gasoline (gasoline) intended.
- gasoline gasoline
- all liquid substances come under consideration the regulations of the German technical instructions for keeping clean the air (TA Heil Abs. 5.2.6) fall.
- the plant 10 includes in the simplest embodiment, two tanks 11, 12, both a Volume of fluid 13 and 14 and a gas volume 15 and 16 record.
- a Boundary layer is denoted by the numeral 17 or 18 and shown in dashed lines. The Position of the boundary layer 17, 18 corresponds to the level of the liquid in the tank 11 or 12th
- the tanks 11, 12 are connected by a gas line 19, each in the Gas volume 15, 16 opens.
- a manometer 20 Arranged in the gas line are a manometer 20, a Relief valve 21 and a vacuum valve 22nd
- the tanks 11, 12th Liquid supplied and / or liquid are removed. Doing so and when heated or cooling of the tanks, the pressures in the gas volumes 15, 16 change.
- a first Pressure equalization is possible via the gas line 19 to the adjacent tank.
- a negative pressure can be compensated for by the response of the vacuum valve 22.
- Via an inlet 27 on the vacuum valve 22 air from the environment in the gas line 19 and thus compensates for the negative pressure.
- speaks Low pressure valve as soon as the pressure falls below -1000 Pa.
- the pressure relief valve 21 is provided with a first outlet 28. When crossing an excess pressure limit opens the pressure relief valve 21 and gives gas over the first Outlet 28 to the environment.
- the overpressure limit is about 6000 Pa.
- the tanks 11, 12 and the gas line 19 can via a corresponding Connecting line 29 (dashed line) with a variable gas volume - unpressurised gasometer 30 - in communication. Pressure changes in the gas line 19 initially affect the gas volume in the gasometer 30. Only when that Gas volume 31 reaches an upper or lower limit, enter the pressure relief valve 21 or the vacuum valve 22 in action.
- VRU 32 may additionally be a steam recovery unit or VRU 32 may be provided. This is over a dashed line Connecting line 33 is coupled to the pressure relief valve 21. In this case, the Outlet 28 closed. After exceeding the specified overpressure limit opens the pressure relief valve 21 in the direction of the connecting line 33 and performs the VRU 32 excess gas for recovery too. After conversion into one Liquid is supplied via the line 34 to one of the tanks 11, 12 again. If the capacity of the VRU 32 is exceeded, the excess steam can over exit an outlet 35. For this purpose, the VRU 32 with a not extra marked Overpressure valve provided.
