Definitions

  • the invention relates to a cleaning device for application to a surface exposed to the weather, in particular a roof, a roof surface, a solar system surface or a facade, wherein the cleaning device has reaction surfaces which are arranged in layers and have a metallic, preferably copper-containing, surface which in combination produce water-purifying, preferably fungicidal and / or bactericidal compounds that can dissolve the water in the roof, at least partially wetting, wherein at least one first bottom layer and at least one layer disposed above are provided, the layers are interconnected via connecting elements ,
  • the problem with this device is that to form such a capillary gap, a very accurate manufacturing in order to keep the capillary action approximately the same over a larger region, although the capillary action causes some water to be drawn in between the gaps, however, a flow of the water through the capillary gaps is not possible because of a surface resistance due to a feed resistance is formed for the water flowing through, so that only an insufficient exchange of water between the capillary gaps and the environment is formed, whereby possibly formed substances within the Kapillarspaltes can not escape sufficiently to the outside.
  • practical experiments with capillary gaps arranged close to one another have shown that only insufficient weathering of the material surfaces occurs, as a result of which the formation of cleaning substances is ultimately prevented.
  • the inventor has recognized that it is essential for improving the self-cleaning effect of cleaning devices for application to a surface exposed to the weather, an optimal combination between the collected and stored moisture and the provided reaction surface of the metal, in particular the copper, is necessary in addition, care must be taken to ensure that a sufficient drainage possibility of the intermediate stored liquid is necessary as soon as a new water supply, ie new rain, occurs.
  • a particularly good storage both in terms of quantity, in terms of duration and also with respect to the used during storage surface size, achieved by the individual layers have at least largely independently variable distances between them.
  • This volume adaptation can be caused, for example, by a pivoting movement of the layers about an axis, that is to say by a fanning out, or the layers can also be moved apart in parallel by penetrating water.
  • the configuration of the cleaning device, in particular of the chambers, in which the moisture is retained can be designed so that the solar radiation impinging on the outside does not heat the inner chambers too much in order to prevent premature failure Avoid evaporation of moisture from the chambers. It should be noted, however, that even devices with only two layers are within the scope of the invention.
  • the inventor proposes the known cleaning device for application to a surface exposed to the weather, in particular a roof, a roof surface, a solar system surface or a facade, wherein the cleaning device has reaction surfaces which are arranged in layers and a metallic, preferably copper-containing, Having surfaces which in combination with water purifying, preferably fungicidal and / or bactericidal compounds produce dissolved in water can at least partially wet the roof, wherein at least one first lower layer arranged and at least one further layer disposed above are provided, said Layers are interconnected via connecting elements and natural moisture can penetrate between the layers and be rinsed out again. According to the invention it is proposed that the at least one further layer is movably connected to the lower layer.
  • the water occurring can separate the individual layers more or less far from each other depending on the amount of water present and optimally use the different sized intermediate space with the available reaction surface.
  • the moisture stored in these intermediate spaces - also referred to as chambers - is heated relatively little, for example due to solar radiation, due to the overlying layers.
  • the stored moisture has sufficient time to react with the metallic surface and remove the substances necessary for the cleaning effect from the metallic surface which forms the reaction surface.
  • the inventive design that at newly occurring water as unimpeded flushing of these chambers takes place, so that the substances formed there can be washed freely to the outside and can unfold their effect on the surface to be cleaned.
  • individual, several or all layers may have elevations and / or depressions.
  • connecting elements between the individual layers are arranged in a line, then a kind of hinge action can result and the layers can move around one another Line to be pivoted. If several staggered lines are formed, the pivoting movement can only be limited.
  • spacer elements are additionally provided in the region of the connecting elements, preferably on the connecting elements, which effect a spacing of the layers at least in the region of the spacer elements, then the connecting elements can be achieved with line-shaped attachment that the layers taper without water, while with increasing water filling a Fanning arises.
  • the volume of the spaces between the chambers largely adapts to the amount of water available.
  • the connecting elements and optionally the spacer elements are arranged exclusively above the center of gravity of the layers, preferably in the second quarter from above, then the force necessary for pivoting and fanning the layers can be kept relatively small, so that particularly good storage is possible of water is possible and the cohesive and Adphases Guide occur easily against the then to be overcome forces.
  • small spring elements which counteract the force of gravity and thus open up a lighter influence possibility for the water to increase the inter-layer space.
  • the spacers can form part of a deformed layer and are preferably produced by a punching tool, preferably during the production process of the respective layer in a production step.
  • At least one of the layers may consist of perforated metal sheet or expanded metal mesh.
  • a version with at least one layer or all layers of smooth sheet metal is possible.
  • the cleaning device described can be attached to any location of a roof, in particular on the roof ridge, verge or in the roof area.
  • the lower layer can be formed as a curved Kupferfirstplatte arranged on both sides movable further layers.
  • the lower layer can be adapted with respect to its contour and / or surface to known roof tiles and roof tiles. It is to be particularly noted in this connection that although in one embodiment all layers of the roof tile mold can be adapted, yet a further variant of the invention envisages only the lower layer (s) in the roof tile or roof tile form, e.g. wavy, to design and at least two top layers largely flat.
  • the layers can also be adapted to the 3-dimensional surface shape of roof sections and / or solar systems. In this case, the layers may be formed, for example, both in the longitudinal direction and in the transverse direction at least partially curved.
  • roof cleaning device of the type mentioned can also be used on thatched roofs or roofs that are covered with slate, roofing felt, Welleternitplatten or the like, in particular, an application for solar systems or other glass or Kunststoffbedachitch is possible.
  • a further improvement in the effectiveness of the cleaning device can be achieved by arranging in the intermediate spaces formed by the layers copper material with a greatly enlarged surface area, preferably a mesh and / or casts and / or fibers of copper and / or sintered pieces.
  • a greatly enlarged surface area preferably a mesh and / or casts and / or fibers of copper and / or sintered pieces.
  • an upstand can also be attached to the lower end of the layer (s) (drain end) in the water flow direction.
  • the cleaning device may further comprise a lower layer, which is designed as a clamping device for clamping the device, preferably on the roof tile or roof tile.
  • An additional enlargement of the reaction surface of the cleaning device can be achieved in that in at least one of the layers formed by the layers copper material with a greatly enlarged surface, preferably braid and / or shells and / or fibers of copper and / or sintered pieces are arranged.
  • an absorbent intermediate layer preferably a fleece and / or braid and / or casings and / or fibers, can also be arranged in at least one intermediate space.
  • the upper layers can be made shorter in the direction of the roof pitch than the lower layer. In this way, the lower layer between brick layers can be inserted and hooked, so that a secure fit of the lower layer is guaranteed and still the upper layers remain movable.
  • embodiments of the cleaning device according to the invention consist of two or more fixedly connected with respect to their distance and further above or in between arranged movable layers.
  • At least the lower layer may have fastening elements and / or fastening clips with which it can be fastened on the surface to be cleaned.
  • the fastening clips and / or fastening elements may at least partially consist of plastic and be clipped into one of the layers, preferably the lower layer.
  • the cleaning device can be provided to provide the upper movable layers above the connecting elements with shovel-like and down-pressed bulges with counter to the water flow direction aligned openings.
  • these bulges act as water deflectors, which, when a pivoting movement of the lower part of the layer is carried upward by water entering the gap, derived from a predetermined degree of filling water in the space above it.
  • At least one layer can also consist of a film and that at least one layer, preferably all layers, can be stamped by punching, in particular by rolling rollers, elevations and depressions.
  • at least one layer, preferably all layers can be stamped by punching, in particular by rolling rollers, elevations and depressions.
  • a plurality of such thin layers arranged one above the other can be produced by single or multiple folding.
  • the cleaning device consists of a total of four layers 1.1 - 1.4, which largely comprise the roof ridge tile 5 on the top, the lower layer 1.1 extends over both sides of the Dachfirstziegels. On both sides of the lower layer 1.1 are pivotally mounted three more layers 1.2-1.4. The attachment to the lower layer 1.1 is effected by connecting elements 2, which are combined with spacers 4.x. This results in each page three spaces in total 7.x between the layers in which water can be stored.
  • the left side of the illustration shows the gaps 7.x without embedded water, so that the layers abut with their ends fan-shaped. If rain falls or other forms of moisture on the cleaning device, this can penetrate into the spaces 7.x. This is due to the surface tension of the water and the adhesion of the water to the surfaces the layers, the layers pulled apart and there are relatively large spaces in which the water is stored without flowing out. Due to the variability of the storage volume is also achieved at the same time - in contrast to a chamber with fixed dimensions - at different levels of water in the interstices 7.x but always a relatively large reaction surface is wetted with moisture and thus produce the desired reaction products in sufficient quantity can.
  • the individual layers may be provided not only in the illustrated form but also with a multiplicity of openings and / or may additionally have a spatial structure which has an enlarged reaction surface in relation to its projection surface.
  • the lower layer 1.1 is substantially fixed on the tile and is designed so that it includes the roof ridge tile 5 and also engages under the next brick arranged above it and thus is secured by slipping.
  • fasteners 2 are mounted, which are combined with spacers 4.x.
  • the layers 1.x are held at the top of a designated distance, but can pivot against each other, so that they converge conically in the "empty" state downwards. This situation is shown dotted.
  • the layers fan out and can be relatively large quantities Pick up and store water.
  • the lower layer can be at least partially provided with openings, so that the gap between layer 1.1 and roof plate 5 can be filled with water and thus the bottom of the layer 1.1 is available as a reaction surface available.
  • FIG. 2 also shows that bends 8 have been made at the lower end of the layers. These folds cause a reduction of the outlet gap, so that at a given surface tension of the water a total of a greater distance of the layers and thus a larger storage volume can be achieved.
  • Figures 3 and 4 also show cleaning devices 1, which are arranged on flat or wavy roof tiles 5.
  • the device corresponds to FIG. 2, but on the one hand a larger number of layers are shown and the layers are additionally structured in their surface to increase the surface area.
  • nubs 3 can be introduced in both directions perpendicular to the position by punching operations.
  • FIG. 2 Another difference from FIG. 2 is that spacer elements have been dispensed with in the area of the connecting elements, so that the layers can "move up and down" along the connecting element. Due to the nubs 3, however, a certain basic distance between the layers is maintained, so that advantageously without water in the interstices no plan lie on the layers 1.x and thus there is sufficient air for the necessary function of the device weathering available. It should be noted, however, that it too within the scope of the invention lies when the layers lie directly to each other without stored water.
  • the figure shows 4 shows the device with stored water in the interstices 7, the layers have their maximum achievable distance between them - at least in the region of the connecting elements 2 - have reached. Shown in dashed lines is another optional connecting element 2 in the lower area, which in the presence ensures that the lower region of the layers can not fan out too far. It should be noted that combinations with connecting elements with spacers and pure connecting elements to limit the maximum fanning of the layers are possible. By way of example, here are provided in the layers 1.2 and 1.3 openings 6, which allow water to pass to the interstices 7.
  • FIGS. 5 and 6 show a further exemplary embodiment of the cleaning device, alternating planar and structured layers 1.x without water (FIG. 5) and with water (FIG. 6) in the intermediate spaces of the layers 1.x.
  • the lower layer 1.1 is provided with a plurality of openings.
  • the intermediate layers 1.2 and 1.3 as well as the uppermost layer 1.4 can be provided with a plurality of openings.
  • FIG. 7 shows one half of a cleaning device according to the invention for a roof ridge, a so-called copper ridge, shown in a schematic 3D view.
  • a so-called copper ridge shown in a schematic 3D view.
  • These connecting elements 2 allow pivoting movements of the upper layers 1.2-1.3 around the line formed by the connecting elements depending on the filling of the intermediate spaces with water.
  • the layers themselves are shown as wire models only.
  • FIG. 8 shows a corrugated surface tile with a cleaning device according to the invention in a three-dimensional representation.
  • a lower layer 1.1 with two attached thereto movable layers 1.2 and 1.3.
  • the connecting elements are shown schematically as crosses. Due to the movable attachment of the upper layers and these corrugated layers 1.2 and 1.3 can adjust the spaces formed by them in the manner described above variable to the actual amount of water available.
  • Figures 9 and 10 show a particular embodiment of the cleaning device, in particular an upper layer 1.2.
  • This layer 1.2 has above the connecting element 2 to a breakthrough in which the sheet of the sheet is like a blade or tongue bent so far down that it is at a progressive filling of the lower gap, due to the tilting movement, water from the surface of the bottom layer 1.1 absorbs and initiates in the upper space.
  • the situation of filling in which the middle layer 1.2 is aligned substantially parallel to the lower layer 1.1 and just the water begins to flow into the space between the middle and upper layer 1.2 and 1.3, shows 1.2 and 1.3, the figure 10 shows. In this way, a successive filling of the individual spaces with occurring rainwater is possible.
  • FIG. 9 also shows the optimum attachment region of the connecting elements in the case of pivotally movable layers. If the connecting elements are arranged in the region 9 below the upper eighth and above half of the length, or above the center of gravity, of the pivoting layers, this does not cause the entire weight of the layers to be lifted by the water in the interstices and a better filling of the interstices is achieved.
  • FIG. 14 shows a special embodiment of the cleaning device.
  • This device shows a combination of a lower layer 1.1, which is adapted with respect to its contour to a corrugated roof panel 5, wherein at this lower position 1.1 are fastened via connecting elements 2 a plurality of flat layers 1.x pivotally.
  • the connecting elements according to the invention can be produced on the one hand as independent elements and connected in the first manufacturing process with the lower layer, on the other hand, it is also advantageous, the connecting elements in the production of the lower layer itself by a punching operation of the material of the situation cut out. Preferably, one side remains connected to this layer, so that no separate assembly with the lower layer is more necessary.
  • the cleaning devices illustrated in this document are only selected examples, with simple geometrical shapes being chosen for ease of illustration. This concerns on the one hand the surface on which the cleaning devices rest, as well as the structure and shape of the spacer elements, which of course can be executed differently by appropriately trained punching tool, a variety of forms can be used. In this case, it is usually advantageous if at least the lower layer in each case adapts to the shape of the covered surface, in particular of the underlying brick, although it can also be partially advantageous here if spacers are used with respect to the underlying surface to be cleaned.
  • the configuration of the spacers themselves, if they are formed from the individual layers themselves, can be particularly favorable if they lead to large additional surfaces and at the same time produce as little heat transfer as possible to the next layer to be kept apart.
  • the embodiments of the figures shown are suitable to be produced by relatively flexible films, in particular copper foils, since in particular films are suitable by forming a surface structure with elevations or nubs despite their Flexibility to keep a distance between the layers, without a rigidity would be necessary. With regard to the use of such films, it is then also possible to make individual blanks on site and thus adapt easily to the specifics of each roof.
  • FIGS. 11a to 11d show cross sections through possible contours of the cleaning device.
  • the contour of FIG. 11a corresponds to a Frankfurter pan
  • the contour of FIG. 11b can be used, for example, for use on a Welleternitdach.
  • Figures 11c and 11d illustrate simple, slightly curved or flat contours of a cleaning device as may be used on relatively flat surfaces.
  • Figures 12a and 12b show two exemplary outlines of a roof cleaning device seen from above, with Figures 13a to 13c show longitudinal cross-sectional views of the firing direction through the contour of cleaning devices, such as those used in the ridge area.
  • FIG. 14 shows a 3D illustration of a further variant of the cleaning device according to the invention.
  • This cleaning device consists of three flat pivotally mounted layers 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, which are mounted on a wavy roof surface. The attachment to the corrugated roof panel 5 and the simultaneously pivotal mounting of the layers is indicated by the two crosses.
  • the cleaning device may be stamped from a flat copper material, it being understood that punching means all manufacturing processes covered by this term - see this example, DIN 9870 or "The tool”, 1997, ISBN 3-8085-1202-4, especially Chapter 1 "stamping".
  • a cleaning device is disclosed by the illustrated invention, which is suitable due to the particularly favorable moisture storage and at the same time strong enlargement of the reaction surface under various climatic conditions to effect the cleaning of surfaces exposed to the weather.
  • cleaning devices can not serve exclusively for cleaning roofs, but also clean other exposed to the weather surfaces, for example, this may be solar systems, glass fronts, glass roofs or building facades.
