  • the roller formed by the flap 1 and the roll formed during the winding of the member 69 have the same diameter.
  • the incompressible member 69 may be constituted by a rod of a flexible material such as, for example, polyurethane reinforced with glass fibers, or may be formed by a Kevlar rod. It is also possible to use a metal chain or a synthetic material whose links are provided with means for gripping one into the other when the chain is wound.
  • a pressure cylinder 30 is provided at the place where the member 69 winds to form said turns when opening the flap 1. This cylinder 30 exerts a pressure force on the member 69 to engage the teeth 71 of the turn which is formed in the notches 72 of the previous turn.
  • the attachment means may for example comprise a succession of permanent magnets which extend in the longitudinal direction of the flap to one side of the latter.
  • the confinement means and the attachment means are located at or near the side edges 2 and 3 of the flap 1, it is also possible that these means are provided, for example, substantially in the middle between the side edges 2 and 3 or they extend over the entire width of the flap 1.
  • the shutter device according to the invention is not limited to doors with vertical guideways, but may also have horizontal guideways or extending in any direction when the shutter is, for example, used as sunscreen.
  • the ribs may be constituted by a succession of projections extending at a certain distance from one another.
