Definitions
- the present invention relates to a securing element with a fuse element attached to two contact posts, wherein the fusible conductor at the contact post on a Welding point is fixed by means of laser welding, wherein the laser beam during laser welding on the contact post on one of the weld of the fusible conductor opposite The point of impact is addressed, and the contact posts one each the welding point and the point of impact including flattening area of reduced material thickness exhibit.
- the invention also relates to a method for manufacturing a fuse element in which at least two Contact posts are fixed in a holder and a Melting conductor by heating by means of a laser beam the contact post is welded, the laser on one of the fusible conductor side facing away from the contact posts is directed.
- the contact post a small Has material thickness, only a small laser energy and short laser pulse duration needed to make a weld manufacture. Due to the thin flattened shape of the contact posts However, the mechanical stability of the security elements, especially in the connection area to the Fusible link, reduced. Will, however, the material thickness increases the flattened contact areas, so is indeed a given good mechanical stability, but it is one significantly higher laser energy and / or laser pulse duration required, to make a secure weld. Furthermore is due to the thicker version of the contact post increases the heat capacity in the region of the junction and the temporal temperature course is slower and burdened thereby the melt conductor material. It comes in welding to embrittlement of the fusible conductor in the connection area.
- a fuse element to create the type mentioned the one fast and secure connection between the fusible link and the contact post allowed by laser welding and at the same time has a high mechanical stability.
- This task is accomplished by a security element with the Characteristics of claim 1 solved.
- the Object by a method for producing a fuse element with the features of claim 12 solved.
- the fuse element according to the invention which of of the type mentioned, takes at least one Contact post of flattening area of reduced material thickness only a part of the width of the contact post, so that at least one support area larger than the flattening area Material thickness remains.
- Such a shaped contact post provides a good mechanical stability and allows a fast and safe welding the fusible conductor to the contact post.
- the support area of larger material thickness gives the Contact post a mechanical stability, the one Kinking or bending of the contact post prevented.
- at conventional fuses where whole longitudinal sections of contact posts are flattened over their cross section, there is a risk that the contact post in particular in Flattening direction becomes unstable. Even slight bending However, it leads to a changed situation or even an elongation or compression of the attached to the contact post Fuse element. This results in a changed shutdown behavior the fuse or with strong deformation even damage or destruction of the fusible conductor.
- the contact post of the fuse element according to the invention change their shape and location at usual mechanical Loads to which the security elements are exposed not, and ensure a secure mounting of the Fuse element.
- the location of the fusible conductor is stable and the shutdown of the fuse element reproducible.
- the attachment of the fusible conductor to the contact post significantly improved by laser welding becomes the attachment of the fusible conductor to the contact post significantly improved by laser welding.
- the laser beam is on the respective area of the contact post directed, in which the weld between fusible link and contact post should arise.
- the laser beam becomes directed to the side of the contact post that the Fracture facing opposite or facing away.
- This impact point the laser beam and also the weld lie in the flattening area with reduced material thickness.
- the envisaged weld becomes essential in the flattening area heated faster because the heat flow is a smaller material thickness must pass through (heat flow indirectly proportional to the material thickness).
- the temperature profile on the Fusible conductor facing side points from the impact point The laser opposite point, in radial Direction over the surface of the contact post a substantial steeper course than with a contact post with not reduced material thickness.
- the fusible conductor extends beyond the flat area on the support area of greater material thickness.
- the fusible conductor with the contact post both in the flattening area and in the supporting area in contact.
- the contact areas between the fusible link and the flattened area of the contact post are heated more than that Contact areas between the fusible conductor and the non-flattened Supporting area of the contact post.
- the fusible conductor in one area a more intense welded joint come in with the contact post than in another Area.
- the flattening region forms and the at least one support area at least in the support area of the fusible conductor a support plane.
- the fuse element particularly simple.
- the Melt conductor can be applied to the contact plane of the contact post be applied, being evenly over the entire Width of the support plane rests.
- the fusible conductor is located transverse to the longitudinal direction of the contact post on the contact post on. This is especially beneficial if a another, similarly trained contact post next to the first Contact post is arranged so that the contact posts with their longitudinal axis pointing in the same direction. A transverse to the longitudinal direction of the first contact post The contact post lying on the fuse element can in the same Way rest on the second contact post.
- the contact posts of the fuse element fastened in a holder and the flattening area with reduced material thickness extends to the Holder facing away from the end of the contact post.
- the holder Make sure the contact posts are in a solid Able to be held to each other.
- the flattening area extends with reduced material thickness up to that of the holder remote from the contact post, e.g. the Flattening of the contact post directly when trimming the contact post material to the length of a contact post, e.g. with the same tool.
- the fusible conductor is then on the bracket facing away from the end of the Contact post attached.
- the securing element has a wetting wire wound around a non-conductive core.
- this fuse element is at least one turn of the fusible wire by laser welding to the contact post attached. However, there may be several turns simultaneously in a laser welding operation on the contact post be attached.
- the fuse wire a wire core and a sheath of a material, whose melting temperature is lower than that of Wire core.
- the Welding temperature higher and both the material of the sheath, as well as the material of the wire core are used to manufacture melted a welded joint.
- the fusible wire on the contact post is fastened, due to the lower Temperature of the contact posts only the material of the sheath melted, but not the wire core. In these Areas can e.g. a solder joint between the contact post and the fusible conductor, provided that the fusible conductor is coated with a solder.
- a fusible conductor is passed through Heating by means of a laser beam to the contact posts welded.
- the laser is on one of the fusible link directed away from the contact post, after the material thickness of at least one contact post in at least part of the contact area of the fusible conductor has been reduced such that a support area formed in this way only a partial width of the contact post occupies.
- the reduction of the material thickness of the contact post can in this process already in the production and Cut the contact posts happen, or after the contact posts were mounted in a holder. To the advantages To use the invention, only needs to be ensured be that the reduction of the material thickness takes place before the fusible conductor at the contact post by laser welding is attached.
- FIG 1 is a front view of an inventive Secured element shown schematically in the two contact posts (1) in a holder (2) attached are.
- the contact posts (1) pass through the holder (2) through and out of this up and down.
- Flattening areas (3) are formed, in which the material thickness the contact post (1) is reduced.
- On both sides next to the Abflach Schemeen (3) are on the longitudinal sides support areas (4) formed at the contact post (1), in which the material thickness of the contact posts is not reduced.
- the contact posts (1) are flattened only on one side, and Although in the illustration in Figure 1 on the viewer facing side.
- a fuse element (5) extends between the two contact posts (1) and is on this through Laser welding attached.
- the fuse element (5) has a Melt wire (6) wound around an insulating core (7) is.
- the fuse wire (6) is made of a central Wire core, e.g. from a silver-copper alloy or fine silver, and a sheath of a second material, e.g. a tin solder, formed. It is essential that the Melting point of the jacket at a lower temperature lies, as the melting point of the wire core. It is possible, between the fusible conductor and the contact post one To produce solder joint, provided the temperature of the joint higher than the melting temperature of the jacket, but lower than the melting temperature of the wire core is. Exceeds the temperature of the joint however, the melting temperature of the wire core becomes a Welded connection made.
- the connection points between the fusible conductor (5) and the contact posts are in arranged in the area in which also the flattening areas (3) and the support areas (4) are arranged, but on the Abflach Schemeen (3) facing away from the contact posts (1).
- Figure 2 shows the fuse element of Figure 1 in one Rear View.
- the fusible conductor (5) lies on the contact post (1), wherein in the contact area of the fuse element a Support level is formed.
- Figure 3 shows the fuse element of Figure 1 in one View from above.
- the fusible conductor (5) is located with several Windings on the contact post (1), wherein the Fusible conductor (5) beyond the flattening area (3) on the Supporting region (4) extends.
- the turns of the Welding wire (6) in different sections of the fusible conductor (5) on different areas of the contact posts (1) with different material thicknesses.
- the laser is placed on a flat area (3) of a Contact post (1) directed. The heat flow occurs from the point of impact through the material of the contact post (1) and heats the support area on which the fusible conductor (5) rests.
- the flattened area immediately from the Laser is heated up by a short laser pulse heated a much higher temperature than the support area (4) the contact post (1).
- the windings of the Welding wire (6), in the Abflach Scheme on the fusible link rest, are exposed to a higher temperature and welded, while those turns in the support area (4) rest, exposed to a lower temperature and mostly soldered.
- the Thermal load of the fuse wire (6) over the Laser welding on a contact post without flattening area reduced. There is no embrittlement of the fuse wire (6), which always occurs when the fuse wire heated too long or too high.
- more than one flat area be formed on the contact post.
- the contact post e.g. several flattening areas with different material thickness or changing flattening areas and support areas.
- the flattening areas gradually move into the support areas, without the material thickness is stepped at the transitions.
- the choice of materials for the contact posts and the fusible conductor, or its wire core and sheath, are also varied and not on the above Limited materials.
