Definitions

  • the invention relates to a component, such as e.g. a wall, a ceiling or a floor, of glass bricks in a mortarless laying method.
  • Glass blocks are hollow, mostly angular glass elements, which are industrially welded from two glass shells and are used in the construction of walls or floors.
  • Glass bricks have also been available for some time now, which have a uniformly satin-finished surface due to roughened outsides and break the light very evenly, but these bricks are very sensitive to soiling, in particular the so-called cement curtain, which is created during grouting in the wet laying system. The use of these stones is thus more advantageous in dry constructions. In many cases of advanced and aesthetic interior design using glass bricks, it is desirable to achieve an appealing form of complementary room lighting. The emission of diffuse, single or multicolored light of a glass wall is particularly effective and contributes to the improvement of the living feeling.
  • the wall-accompanying backlighting of a glass block wall often plays a role in modern architecture, but always with the disadvantage that the wall is perceived as a light wall with high aesthetic appeal from only one side, since the luminous bodies lie on the other wall side and are unfavorably visible.
  • a known method is the formation of a cavity wall of two rows of glass blocks and placed in the wall space luminous elements, this embodiment is very complex, since twice the number of glass bricks is needed as a simple wall and a lot of space for the footprint of the wall is lost. In the residential building Heinersdorfer Str.
  • the glass elements are glued or mortared with elongated, continuous in the direction of the luminaire connection profiles and are not modular, so that a non-destructive maintenance or replacement of the light element is not possible.
  • only indirect fiber optic technology is used as a lighting object in which the maintenance-intensive light source is located at a central location outside the component.
  • direct lighting such as a LED chain does not seem sensible, since individual failed LEDs would not be repairable without destroying the entire component.
  • the document FR-A-2826388 discloses a sleeve-like version of the glass bricks, which glued together give a wall and are illuminated via recesses in the sleeves.
  • the present invention is therefore based on the object to avoid the disadvantages known from the cited prior art, and a newly designed, modular, dry construction system for the installation of glass blocks for the construction of self-illuminating walls, floors or ceilings and furniture for To make available.
  • the connecting elements at least in an axial direction interstices, within which, on the flank of the glass blocks, one or more lighting elements are arranged so that the lighting effect is deployed on both sides of the component, the light itself by the mortarless connecting elements to both Component pages is obscured.
  • the centrally arranged in the joint gap linear lighting element is thus visible from both wall, floor or ceiling sides only indirectly through the glass blocks bright.
  • the lighting element may be strip, ribbon, cord or tubular.
  • the light of the lamp is refracted and passed into the outer surfaces of the glass blocks, so that the component emits light on both sides evenly.
  • the component according to the invention is modular.
  • the base support and grooved strips do not pass through the individual layers of the component continuously, but are limited at least in the lighting direction to the length of one or more glass blocks.
  • the lighting elements are designed as a module and arranged interchangeable between the glass blocks.
  • the component thus not only fulfills the usual characteristics such as room closure, privacy, weather, temperature and sound insulation, and serves the lighting on both sides of the component, but also offers the interchangeability of the lighting elements through the modular design.
  • glass blocks have high manufacturing tolerances, which can often be up to 2 mm, to compensate for the use of at least two circumferential seals made of elastic material to the glass block of advantage. These must be mounted on the glass blocks before mounting the modules.
  • the combination of conventional materials, the invention can be made very inexpensive.
  • a preferably made of wood, plastic or metal, over the entire length or height of the construction system continuous base support is generally designated 1 , laid perpendicular thereto, over the length of component continuous joint strips 2, are preferably made of metal, plastic or wood.
  • the glass blocks, also known as glass block concrete glasses, are designated 3 , the laid between the joint strips 2 linear lighting element is called a total of 4 .
  • a modular, matched to the Glasbausteinaussenassie joint strip is denoted by 13
  • a glass block comprehensive, flexible seal is designated 15 .
  • LED boards with micro connectors in a modular design are generally designated 14
  • a matching connector of the boards is designated by 16 .
  • node connectors 18 with Befestigunsstoffn 17 is secured, for example, threaded screws against slipping out of the joint strips. 13
  • the light-emitting element 4 is preferably made of a board with SMD LEDs with connectors 14 , but also a LED light tube, a commercial, covered with transparent plastic, flexible fairy lights made of LEDs or a light tube, a commercial, coated with transparent plastic, flexible or rigid Fairy lights from incandescent bells can be used.
  • LEDs are very durable and failure is not expected over long periods.
  • 4 newer electroluminescent luminescent cord or foil or fiberglass cords with light control technology are applicable as a light source.
  • the use of rigid, linear lamps 4 such as fluorescent or cold cathode tubes is possible.
  • the component such as a wall, a ceiling, a floor or a piece of furniture is formed by a two-dimensional juxtaposition of glass blocks 3 .
  • linear lighting elements 4, 14 are arranged centrally, so that no pressure or tensile forces on the lighting elements 4, 14 are exercised.
  • the composite of the glass blocks takes place on the one hand by base support 1 , which are laid in a joint direction, perpendicular to the bulbs 4 .
  • the base support 1 are slightly narrower than the glass block outer edges or have profilings, so that by the overlapping of the outer edges of the glass blocks 3 selbige can not fall out of the component.
  • the base support 1 are at least so thick that two adjacent glass blocks do not touch each other at mutual pressure.
  • the edges of the base support 1 or the seals 6 , 15 can be rounded or profiled so that they better fit into the groove of the glass blocks between the overlapping edge and the flank.
  • each joint height perpendicular to the base carrier layer 1 at least an opening or recess in the base support 1 is mounted, through which the linear light-emitting element 4, 14 can be performed.
  • a split into two parts base support 13 with filters have connecting ribs 18 is possible, so may also be arranged in this axial direction light-emitting elements 4, 14th In general, however, the arrangement of the lighting elements 4 , 14 in each joint of an axial direction is sufficient.
  • the base support 1 have recesses or connecting grooves for receiving the joint strips 2, 13 in each joint position.
  • the base support 1 and joint strips 2, 13 can be designed to run continuously over the component length and height or modular in shorter, each matched to the Glasbausteinab horren sections.
  • the latticework is divided at least in one axial direction, so that the linear luminous element 4, 14 can be arranged therebetween. This 2-division is also important for the interchangeability of the lighting elements, since the joint strips can be removed from the component on one side.
  • the latticework consists either of an elastic material such as wood or plastic, or plastic coated metal, so that the glass bricks are not damaged by the direct contact with a harder material, or it is made of metal and it is circumferentially an elastic buffer material 6, 15 for Prevention of glass-metal contact arranged. This elastic material 15 can take over the function of the seal 6 against rain and dew water, water vapor, sound and insects simultaneously.
  • the glass blocks 3 receive circumferentially on the edge 12 at which the light source is arranged, ie on the not visible in the installed state area, a diffuser 5 such as translucent, white color, unless they are already factory equipped accordingly. Through this diffuser 5 , the lamp can emit more uniformly, resulting in an improved lighting effect. The most advantageous light effect is achieved by using frosted, such as sandblasted or etched or special refractive glass blocks.
  • a luminous element 4 14 boards are preferably used with SMD LEDs (LED strings) 14 , an LED light tube or commercially available light tube.
  • the preferably to be used LED strings 14 are pluggable boards and correspond for use in the modular design of the invention, the dimensions of a glass block, as well as the modular joint strips thirteenth
  • a micro-connector At each end of an LED board is a micro-connector, which can be inserted into the connector 16 in the component and via which the power supply of the light source takes place. Since commercial LEDs radiate in the majority only with an angle of 60 grd, the selection of transparent boards is advantageous, with a device for deflecting a portion of the radiated light on the underside of the light gap.
  • An LED light tube consists of a series of LEDs, which are embedded in flexible, transparent plastic tubing
  • LED technology is currently still much more expensive than the bulbs listed below with incandescent bulbs, but has significant advantages: First, LEDs are much smaller than incandescent bulbs and are therefore better to use in the invention. On the other hand, the power consumption is much lower than that of incandescent bulbs and the life is almost unlimited. In addition, different colored LEDs can be controlled differently and thus the entire color spectrum can be reproduced. A component such as a wall in the above-mentioned construction could not only serve as a monochrome light, but also shine in changing color spectra. In addition, it is also possible that each LED boards 14 in the modular design can be controlled separately in color, so that the component can be used as a large matrix screen.
  • the light tube is a low-cost material that consists of a series of light bulbs embedded in flexible, transparent plastic tubing. Due to the flexibility, the light tube can also be laid around the corners of the glass blocks 3 .
  • FIG. 4 For details of the modular embodiment of the invention with continuous base beams 1 and modular joint strips 13 can be seen.
  • Fig. 4 the circumferential, elastic seals 15 are shown, which are pulled before the assembly of the glass blocks 3 on the edge thereof. This allows manufacturing tolerances in the manufacture of glass blocks in the construction of the component according to the invention, in particular in the nodes compensate advantageous.
  • Fig. 5 . 6 and 7 show the arrangement of the secondary beams 13 and the LED board 14 in the modular embodiment of the invention.
  • the glass blocks 3 can be used by slightly pushing apart the base support 1 into the construction, Fig.
