Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device for noise design in a motor vehicle according to the kind defined in the preamble of claim 1.
  • a generic device is known from DE 44 35 296 AI. Such devices are intended to provide the driver of the motor vehicle, particularly when accelerating, with increased transmission of the noises generated by the internal combustion engine, on the one hand to enable a more intense driving experience and on the other hand to pass on more information about the load state of the internal combustion engine.
  • the deflection element according to the invention By means of the deflection element according to the invention between the output line and the interior cladding element, the sound waves generated by the sound transmission device and introduced via the output line are deflected in the direction of the interior, thereby increasing the sound effect.
  • This amplified sound effect leads to an 'acting on the deflecting force which then stimulates due to the connection of the deflection element with the interior trim element, the latter to oscillations or vibrations and thus provides for further amplification of the sound effect.
  • the interior of the motor vehicle can be insulated considerably better to protect it from disturbing external noise, without withholding acoustic information about the load state of the internal combustion engine from the driver.
  • a decoupling of the output line from the deflecting element and a possibility thereby given to amplify the vibrations of the interior trim element caused by the sound can be achieved if, in an advantageous development of the invention, between the output line and the deflecting element is arranged a flexible connecting element.
  • the deflection element has a hollow body. This represents an additional possibility for influencing the sound frequencies emitted into the interior, the volume of the hollow body being able to be varied in this connection.

  • the input space 7 is connected to the input line 3 and the output space 8 to an output line 9, which leads into an interior 10 of the motor vehicle.
  • the output line 9 is connected via a deflection element 11 to an inner lining element 12, a flexible connecting element 13 being arranged between the output line 9 and the deflection element 11.
  • the deflecting element 11 is attached essentially rigidly to the interior trim element 12.
  • the interior trim element 12 is part of an entire interior trim 14 which at least partially lines the interior 10 in a manner not shown, but can also be part of a dashboard (not shown).
  • the deflecting element 11 which is made of plastic, for example, deflects the sound waves arriving via the output line 9, which leads to an acoustic flow and thus to an intensification of the sound effect in the interior 10 leads.
  • the deflection element 11 has an angle of substantially 90 ° to this, which has proven to be the most suitable for the amplification of the sound waves, which is explained in more detail below. In special installation cases, an angle of the deflecting element 11 different from 90 ° is of course also conceivable.
  • the interior trim element 12 Due to the reaction force or counterforce generated on the deflection element 11 due to the described acoustic flow and indicated by an arrow, the same applies a force to the interior trim element 12, which in turn causes it to oscillate or vibrate and thus generate its own sound. These vibrations of the interior trim element 12 further amplify the acoustic information described for the driver with regard to the load state of the internal combustion engine 2.
  • the interior trim element 12 is decoupled from the interior trim 14 in order to prevent the entire interior trim 14 from vibrating and the interior trim element 12 an independent possibility to provide vibration radiation. This makes it possible to equip the interior trim element 12 with a special geometry in order to achieve a further possibility for influencing the sound generation. However, this special geometry of the interior trim element 12 will not be discussed in more detail below.
  • FIG. 2 shows a development of the device 4 from FIG. 1.
  • an absorption material 15 is arranged at the exit of the device 4, that is to say at the transition of the deflecting element 11 into the interior 10, which influences the sound radiation into the interior 10.
  • the absorption material 15 can have an acoustic resistance of, for example, 40 rails. The acoustic resistance generated results in a further force which acts on the interior trim element 12.
  • FIG. 3 A further embodiment of the device 4 from FIG. 1 is shown in FIG. 3.
  • a constriction element 16 is arranged at the exit or transition into the interior 10, which can be connected to the interior trim element 12 or the deflection element 11 and extends into the interior 10 ,
  • the constriction element 16 By means of the constriction element 16, the flow velocity from the deflection element 11 into the interior 10 is increased and thus an increase in the acoustic flow described above is achieved, which leads to a higher resultant force on the deflection element 11 and thus also to greater vibration excitation of the interior trim element 12.
  • the deflection element 11 has a hollow body 17, which is connected via line elements 17a and 17b on the one hand via the flexible connecting element 13 to the outlet line 9 and on the other hand to the interior trim element 12.
  • a further influence on the sound waves generated or transmitted by the sound transmission device or membrane 6 is achieved by the hollow body 17, this influence of course being dependent on the shape and in particular on the volume of the hollow body 17 and can be determined by changing these sizes.
  • the hollow body 17 is connected to the interior trim element 12 by means of a rigid, rod-shaped connecting element 18.
  • FIG. 5 shows a development of the embodiment according to FIG. 4, in which case the hollow body 17 has two volumes, namely a first volume 19 and a second volume 20.
  • the first volume 19 is connected to the outlet line 9 via the line element 17a and the flexible connecting element 13 and the second volume 20 is connected to the interior trim element 12 via the line element 17b.
  • a further line element 17c is provided to connect the first volume 19 to the second volume 20.
  • the hollow body 17 is connected to the interior trim element 12 via the rigid connection element 18, for which purpose the connection element 18 runs from the interior trim element 12 to the first volume 19.
  • FIG. 6 shows a further embodiment of the device 4, which in this case has a widening element 21 at the exit into the interior 10, which, in contrast to the constriction element 16 according to FIG. 3, ensures a reduction in the reaction force on the deflection element 11 and thus likewise serves to influence the sound radiation in the interior 10.
  • FIGS. 1 to 6 All of the embodiments shown in FIGS. 1 to 6 can be combined with one another in any manner, provided that they are not obviously mutually exclusive.
  • the absorption material 15 can be provided in all embodiments and the decoupling of the interior trim element 12 from the interior trim 14 is also conceivable.
