Abstract
Disclosed is a device for modulating noise in a motor vehicle, comprising a hollow body which is separated into at least two chambers by means of at least one sound-transmitting device. One chamber is connected to a gas-containing part of an internal combustion engine that is arranged in the motor vehicle while the other chamber is acoustically coupled to an interior space of the motor vehicle via an output pipe. Said output pipe is connected to an interior lining element via an essentially hollow redirecting element. Said redirecting element is configured in a rigid manner such that the redirecting element is able to transmit to the interior lining element force which is applied thereupon as a result of sound being reflected into the interior space.

Die Vorrichtung 4, deren prinzipieller Aufbau und Wirkungsweise beispielsweise aus der DE 100 42 012 AI bekannt sein können, weist einen Hohlkörper 5 auf, in dessen Innerem eine im vorliegenden Falls als schwingfähige Membran 6 ausgebildete Schallübertragungseinrichtung angeordnet ist, die den Hohlkörper 5 in zwei Räume, nämlich einen Eingangsraum 7 und einen Ausgangsraum 8 teilt. Durch den erzeugten akustischen Widerstand ergibt sich eine weitere Kraft, die auf das Innenverkleidungselement 12 wirkt .
Eine weitere Ausgestaltung der Vorrichtung 4 aus Fig. 1 zeigt Fig. 3. Hierbei ist am Ausgang bzw. Übergang in den Innenraum 10 ein Verengungselement 16 angeordnet, welches mit dem Innenverkleidungselement 12 oder dem Umlenkelement 11 verbunden sein kann und sich in den Innenraum 10 erstreckt. Durch das Verengungselement 16 wird die Strömungsgeschwindigkeit aus dem Umlenkelement 11 in den Innenraum 10 erhöht und damit eine Verstärkung der oben beschriebenen akustischen Strömung erreicht, was zu einer höheren resultierenden Kraft an dem Umlenkelement 11 und somit auch zu einer stärkeren Schwingungsanregung des Innenverkleidungselements 12 führt.FIG. 2 shows a development of the device 4 from FIG. 1. Vorrichtung zur Geräuschgestaltung bei einem Kraftfahrzeug, mit einem Hohlkörper, welcher durch wenigstens eine Schallübertragungseinrichtung in wenigstens zwei Räume geteilt ist, wobei ein Raum mit einem gasführenden Teil einer in dem Kraft ahrzeug angeordneten Brennkraftmaschine in Verbindung steht, und wobei der andere Raum an einen Innenraum des Kraftfahrzeugs über eine Ausgangsleitung akustisch angekoppelt ist, dadurch gekennze ichnet , daß die Ausgangsleitung (9) über ein im wesentlich hohl ausgebildetes Umlenkelement (11) mit einem Innenverkleidungselement (12) verbunden ist, wobei das Umlenkelement (11) derart starr ausgebildet ist, daß es in der Lage ist, aufgrund der Schallabstrahlung in den Innenraum (10) auf dasselbe aufgebrachte Kräfte auf das Innenverkleidungselement (12) zu übertragen.1.
