Somit wird über diesen Schwenkweg ein Drehmoment erzeugt, welches den Stellarm 10 zur Schließstellung beaufschlagt. Claims (4)

  1. A lid positioning device for a cupboard or cabinet, comprising
    a positioning arm (10, 110)
    capable of being pivotally secured to a side wall (3, 103) of a cabinet member (1, 101) so as to pivot around a first positioning axis (13, 113) between an open position and a closing position,
    capable of being pivotally secured to a lid (8, 108) so as to pivot around a second positioning axis (16, 116), and
    having a positioning contour (18, 118) shaped around the first positioning axis (13, 113) and being acted upon by positioning means (19, 119),
    a controlling arm (11, 111),
    capable of being pivotally secured to the side wall (3, 103) of the cabinet member (1, 101) so as to pivot around a first controlling axis (14, 114) between an open position and a closing position, wherein the first controlling axis (14, 114) is spaced apart from and parallel to the first positioning axis (13, 113), and
    capable of being pivotally secured to the lid (8, 108) so as to pivot around a second controlling axis (17, 117), wherein the second controlling axis (17, 117) is spaced apart and parallel to the second positioning axis (16, 116),
    characterized in
    that the positioning contour (18, 118) is in the shape of a curve whose radial distance from the first positioning axis (13, 113) decreases at least along a first portion of the pivot path, starting from the intermediate position of the positioning arm (10, 110), located between the open position and the closing position, towards the open position so that the positioning arm (10, 110) is loaded towards the open position by a force along at least the first portion of its pivot path and a torque is produced which, in each pivotal position of the first portion of the pivot path, corresponds to a counter-torque produced by the weight force of the lid so that the lid (8, 108) is supported in each and every position between the open position and the intermediate positon.

    that the radial distance of the positioning contour (18, 118) with respect to the first positioning axis (13, 113) increases along a second portion of the pivot path starting from the closing position of the positioning arm (10, 110) towards the intermediate position.
  3. The lid positioning device according to one of Claims 1 or 2,

    that the positioning means are provided in the form of a positioning slide (19, 119) resting against the positioning contour (18, 118) via a roller (20, 120) rotatably mounted on the positioning slide (19, 119).
  4. The lid positioning device according to one of Claims 1 to 3,
    characterized in
    that the positioning means are provided in the form of a positioning slide (19, 119) loaded by means of spring means (21, 121) against the positioning contour (18, 118).
