Abstract

Description

  • The invention relates to a holding element, in particular a cover plate, for adjusting a lid of a piece of furniture between a closed position and an open position. The holding element is used to adjust a lid that is not connected via hinges directly to a body of the furniture.
  • Such a holding element is in the DE 296 05 551 U1 shown. The holding element comprises two levers which are pivotally mounted on the one hand on a body-side fitting part and on the other hand are pivotally mounted on a flap-side fitting part, wherein the body-side fitting part is fixed to a body of the furniture and the flap-side fitting part is attached to the flap. The levers are trapezoidal and form a four-link coupling gear. Thus, the movement kinematics of the lid relative to the body is determined by the arrangement of the lever. The lid is to open at the top, with a tension spring is provided, which acts on the one hand on the body-side fitting part and on the other hand on the flap side fitting part, wherein a force is exerted on the flap side fitting part by the tension spring, which holds the lid in the open position or this independently transferred to the open position. Further, the tension spring is arranged such that when passing through a dead center, the flap is also held in the closed position.

    • a lever which is pivotally mounted about a pivot axis on the first fitting part,
    • an actuating arm, which is connected at a distance to the pivot axis pivotally connected to the lever and which is fastened to a third cover axis pivotally mounted on the second fitting part, and
    • a power drive, which acts on the lever in a first pivoting direction, which corresponds to the pivotal movement of the flap in the open position,
    • wherein in the open position of the lid, the first support arm and the second support arm intersect.
  • The support arms are trapezoidal and form a four-link coupling gear. Thus, the movement kinematics of the lid relative to the body is predetermined by the arrangement of the support arms.
  • It has been found that by the arrangement of the lever, which is acted upon by a power drive, the actuating arm exerts a torque on the flap, that holds over a large pivoting range of the flap this in any position.
  • The arrangement of the support arms to each other in such a way that they intersect in the open position of the lid, a particularly good support of the lid, in order to keep this over the largest possible angular range in any position. The support arms are therefore not arranged parallel to each other. That means, in that a first plane, which includes the first body axis and the first lid axis, and a second plane, which includes the second body axis and the second lid axis, intersect in an axis of rotation. Around this axis of rotation, the lid rotates, with the axis of rotation moves in space. In the open position, the axis of rotation is arranged between the first body axis and the first lid axis or between the second body axis and the second lid axis, so that the support arms intersect.
  • Here, the body axes, the lid axes and the pivot axis are arranged parallel to each other.
  • The power drive may be designed in concretion by a spring accumulator, which is supported on the one hand against the first fitting part and on the other hand against the lever. The spring accumulator may have a compression spring element. The spring accumulator then preferably has a base element, which is arranged pivotably on the body-side first fitting part. On the base element, a locking slide is guided axially, wherein at least one compression spring element is supported on the one hand against the base element and on the other hand against the locking slide and acts on the locking slide in the direction of an extended position. The lock slider is then hinged to the lever.
  • In order to use one and the same retaining element for different flaps, in particular flaps of different weights, adjusting means for adjusting the force application point on which the spring-loaded memory acts on the lever can be provided.
  • The adjusting means may comprise an adjusting lever which is pivotally mounted on the lever and which is fixable in different pivotal positions relative to the lever, wherein on the adjusting lever of the spring accumulator is pivotally mounted and is supported against it. Thus, the lever is indirectly applied via the adjusting lever with force. In principle, it is also conceivable that the force application point is linearly adjustable. For this purpose, for example, a spindle nut unit would be conceivable.
  • Preferably, the lever has a first lever portion extending from the pivot axis and a second lever portion opposite to the first lever portion extending from the pivot axis, wherein the actuating arm is pivotally mounted on the first lever portion and the power drive engages the second lever portion. The lever is thus designed as a rocker, which deflects the force from the power drive to the actuating arm.
  • For pivotal attachment of the lever, this has a central bore, with which it is rotatably mounted on a pin, wherein the pin is connected to the body-side first fitting part.
  • It can be provided that the lever has a slot, which emanates from an - outer contour of the lever, starting in the central bore. The slot is arranged such that upon initiation of a force from the actuator arm and the spring accumulator into the lever, the lever with the wall defining the central bore is more braced on the pin. Thus, depending on the strength of the forces introduced, the wall is pressed more strongly onto the journal, so that a higher frictional force results. When you open the lid, the force transmitted to the lever is greater, so that a greater friction and ensures even with a slight balance of power between the power drive and the force acting on the lever due to the weight of the flap, that the lid held in any position. Thus, holding the lid in any position is possible over a larger pivoting of the lid.
  • The retaining element may have a damper which dampens the pivoting movement of the cover until reaching the closed position. Here, the damper is preferably arranged in such a way that the pivotal movement of the lid is attenuated when closing shortly before reaching the closed position and previously over the largest pivoting angle range an undamped pivoting of the lid is possible.
  • The damper may comprise a housing which is connected to the first support arm, wherein a slide is axially adjustable relative to the housing and wherein the Slider is acted upon to an extended position with force. A stop element is fastened to the first fitting part, with the slide approaching the stop element during the transfer of the cover into the closed position until it comes into contact therewith and is transferred into an inserted position.
  • Since the damper is attached to the first support arm, this is pivoted about the first body axis. The stop element has a stop surface, which runs in a curve around the first body axis, wherein the course of the stop surface can be adapted to the movement of the lid to be achieved. The damping characteristic, that is to say via which pivoting angle range the cover is damped and to what extent it is damped, can be varied by changing the course of the abutment surface.
  • The damper may also be designed such that the slider is held in the housing in a rest position between a fully retracted position and a fully extended position and that the slider is released by insertion into the fully inserted position. By means arranged in the housing spring means the slide is adjusted to the fully extended position. When re-sliding the slide to fully retracted position this is locked, so that the slide is pushed out after reaching the fully inserted position only to the rest position.
  • Thus, a push-push function can be achieved in which an automatic opening of the lid is effected by the lid is pressed in its closed position in the direction of the body, whereupon the slider is released. After releasing the lid of this is adjusted by means of the slide to or beyond the dead center. In this case, the spring accumulator can be set such that the cover is automatically adjusted to the open position after exceeding the dead center by means of the spring accumulator.

  • The FIGS. 1 to 4 show a holding element according to the invention in different views and different positions and will be described together below.
  • The holding element has a first fitting part 1, which, as in FIG. 1 shown, can be attached to an inside of a body 2 of a piece of furniture. Furthermore, the holding element comprises a second fitting part 3, which, as also in FIG. 1 shown, can be attached to a cover 4 of the furniture. The cover 4 is connected only via the retaining element with the body 2 and has no hinges. As will be explained later, the lid pivots about an axis that moves in space and depends on the structure of the holding member.
  • The holding element has to connect the lid 4 with the body 2 a first support arm 5 and a second support arm 6. The first support arm 5 is pivotally attached via a first body axis 7 on the body-side first fitting part 2 and about a first lid axis 8 pivotally mounted on the cover-side second fitting part 3. The second support arm 6 is pivotally attached via a second body axis 9 on the body-side first fitting part 2 and about a second cover axis 10 on the cover-side second fitting part 4.
  • The support arms 5, 6 are not arranged parallel to each other. This means that a first plane 29, which includes the first body axis 7 and the first lid axis 8, and a second plane 30, the second body axis 7 and the second Cover axis 8 includes cutting in a rotation axis 11. To this axis of rotation 11, the lid 4 rotates, wherein the axis of rotation 11 moves in space, as shown in the FIGS. 1 to 3 can be seen.
  • So that the cover 4 is held over as large a pivoting range as possible in any position, a drive is provided. This comprises a power drive in the form of a spring accumulator 12. The spring accumulator 12 has a base member 14 which is pivotally mounted about a bearing axis 13 on the body-side first fitting part 2. On the base member 14, a locking slide 15 is held axially adjustable along an adjustment 16. The lock slider 15 is acted upon by means of compression springs 17, which are supported on the one hand against the base member 14 and on the other hand against the lock slider 15, in the direction of an extended position with force. Thus, the compression springs 17 do not bend transversely to the adjustment axis 16, a mandrel 18 is provided on the locking slide 15 per compression spring 17 which dive into the turns of the coil springs designed as compression springs 17 and support the respective compression spring 17 against lateral bulging.
  • The drive further comprises a lever 19 which is rotatably mounted on a pin 22 which is connected to the body-side first fitting part, about a pivot axis 20. For this purpose, the lever 19 has a central bore 21, with which the lever 19 is placed on the pin 22. The lever 19 is designed like a rocker and has an outgoing from the pivot axis 20 and approximately radially extending first lever portion 23 and a first lever portion 23 opposite set second lever portion 24, which also extends from the pivot axis 20, starting approximately radially.
  • At the first lever portion 23, an actuating arm 26 is pivotally connected to the lever 19 about a third body axis 27, wherein the third body axis 27 is arranged at a distance from the pivot axis 20. The actuating arm 26 is further attached to the cover-side second fitting part 4 by a third cover axis 28.
  • The adjusting slide 15 of the spring accumulator 12 acts indirectly via an adjusting lever 25 on the second lever portion 24 of the lever 19 a. The adjusting lever 25 is in different rotational positions relative to the lever 19 at this festsetzbar. The lock slider 15 is freely pivotally mounted on the adjustment lever 25. The force action line of the spring accumulator 12, which corresponds to the adjustment axis 16, is aligned in such a way that a clockwise torque as shown in the FIG. 1 is generated on the lever 19. The actuator arm 26 is arranged to counterclockwise a torque as shown in FIG FIG. 1 generated on the lever 19. It is ensured over the widest possible pivoting range of the lid 4, that the torques exerted by the spring accumulator 12 and the cover 4 on the lever 19 cancel each other, so are in balance, so that the cover 4 in the respective pivot position is held. The pivoting range, in which the cover 4 is held in each pivot position, preferably extends from the open position according to FIG. 1 to a dead center position in which the force action line 39 of the actuating arm 26, along the force from the actuator arm 26 is introduced to the second fitting part 4, with the axis of rotation 11 intersects (this corresponds approximately to the pivot position in FIG FIG. 2 ).
  • Over the pivoting angle range from the open position to the dead center position, the force action line 39 of the actuating arm 26 intersects the axis of rotation 11 about which the lid 4 rotates so far with a clockwise torque as shown in FIG FIG. 1 is generated on the cover 4. The generated torque acts on the cover 4 thus in the direction of the open position with torque. In the dead center position of the lid 4, the force action line 39 of the actuating arm 26 intersects the axis of rotation 11, so that no torque is exerted on the lid 4 by the actuating arm 26. Over the swivel angle range from the dead center position to the closed position, the force action line 39 of the actuating arm 26 intersects the axis of rotation 11 at a distance such that a counterclockwise torque as shown in FIG FIG. 3 is generated on the cover 4. The torque generated acts on the cover 4 thus in the direction of the closed position with torque. Thus acts in a swivel angle range shortly before reaching the closed position, a tightening torque on the lid 4, so that the lid 4 is securely held in the closed position.
  • For adjusting the torque from the spring accumulator 12 to the lever 19th is exercised, the adjustment lever 25 is pivotally mounted about an adjustment axis 33 on the lever 19. The distance between the connection point of the spring accumulator 12 on the adjusting lever 25 and the pivot axis 19 can thus be adjusted. The effective lever arm, with the spring memory 12 torque is generated on the lever 19, can be changed.
  • To adjust the position of the adjusting lever 25 is an adjusting screw 31 which is screwed into a threaded bore 32 of the lever 19. The adjustment screw 31 serves as a stop for the adjustment lever 25. The line of action (adjustment axis 16) of the spring accumulator 12 is aligned such that the adjustment lever 25 in the counterclockwise direction as shown in FIG FIG. 1 is acted upon by a torque. The adjusting screw 31 supports the adjusting lever 25 against rotation in the counterclockwise direction. By adjusting the depth of engagement of the adjusting screw 31 within the threaded bore 32, the position of the stop, which is here represented by the free end of the adjusting screw 31, and thus change the pivot position of the adjusting lever 25. In principle, the adjusting lever 25 can of course also be acted upon in the other direction with torque and the adjusting screw 31 corresponding to the adjusting lever 25 supported in the other direction. Also conceivable are locking means which fix the adjusting lever 25 completely on the lever 19.
  • The lever 19 has a slot 40 which extends radially from an outer contour 41 of the lever 19 to the pivot axis 20 and opens into the central bore 21. The slot 40 is disposed on the side facing away from the spring 12 and the actuator arm 26 of the lever 19. Thus, when the force is introduced by the spring accumulator 12 and the actuator arm 26 on the lever 19 of the lever 19 is so slightly deformed that the central bore 21 narrows. Thus, the lever 19 and the wall of the central bore 21 is tensioned on the pin 22. The frictional force between the wall of the central bore 21 and the pin 22 is thus increased. This is to ensure that the cover 4 is held over a certain pivoting angle range in any position, even if the torques acting on the lever 19 from the actuator arm 26 due to the weight of the lid 4 and the spring accumulator 12, not exactly to lift.
  • On the first support arm 5, a damper 34 is provided. Preferably, it is a damper 34 having a housing 35 which is connected to the first support arm 5. In the housing 35, a slider 36 is held axially adjustable, the slider 36 to a in FIG. 1 shown ejected position is acted upon with force. For this purpose, serve spring means which are arranged in the housing 35 and on the one hand against the housing 35 and on the other hand against the slide 36 are supported. On the body-side first fitting part 2, a stop element 37 is fastened, which has a stop face 38. In the open position ( FIG. 1 ) of the cover 4, the slider 35 is not in contact with the stop surface 38. When transferring the lid 4 in the closed position ( FIG. 3 ), the slider 36 approaches the abutment surface 38 until it comes to this in abutment. The slider 36 preferably comes into contact with the stop surface 38 only when the cover 4 is between the dead center position and the closed position, that is, when a tightening torque is exerted on the cover 4. After the slider 36 has come into abutment with the stop surface 38, the slider 36 is inserted into the housing 35 against the spring force during further pivoting of the lid 4 until it reaches the closed position, so that the suit of the lid 4 is damped against the body 2 , The damper 34 may include further damping means. For example, the damper may be designed as a hydraulic damper.
  • The damper 34 may be configured such that the slider 36 is held in the housing 35 in a rest position between the fully inserted position and the fully extended position like the face of a ballpoint pen. In the rest position, the slider is almost a fully inserted position. By inserting the slider 36 in the fully inserted position of the slider 36 is released and can be adjusted by means of the housing disposed in the spring means to the fully extended position. When re-sliding the slider 36 to the fully inserted position of the slider 36 is locked and can then be pushed out only to the rest position. Thus, an automatic opening of the lid 4 can be effected by the lid 4 is pressed in its closed position in the direction of the body 2, whereupon the slider 36 is released and after releasing the lid 4, this is adjusted by means of the slider 36 to or beyond the dead center position also. Here, the spring accumulator 12 may be set such that the cover 4 is automatically adjusted after exceeding the dead center by means of the spring accumulator 12 to the open position.

Claims (13)

  1. Holding element for displacing a lid (4) of a piece of furniture between a closed position and an open position, comprising
    a first fitting element (1), which is connectable to the corpus (2) of a piece of furniture,
    a second fitting element (3), which is connectable to the lid (4),
    a first support arm (5), which is pivotably attached around a first corpus axis (7) on the first fitting element (1) and around a first lid axis (8) on the second fitting element (3),
    a second support arm (6), which is pivotably attached around a second corpus axis (9) on the first fitting element (1) and around a second lid axis (10) on the second fitting element (3),
    a lever (19), which is pivotably attached around a pivot axis (20) on the first fitting element (1),
    a setting arm (26), which is pivotably connected to the lever (19) at a distance to the pivot axis (20) and which is pivotably attached around a third lid axis (28) on the second fitting element (3), as well as
    a power drive (12), which acts with a force on the lever (19) in a first pivot direction,
    wherein in the open position of the lid (4) the first support arm (5) and the second support arm (6) cross each other.
  2. Holding element according to claim 1,
    characterised in
    that the corpus axes (7, 9), the lid axes (8, 10) and the pivot axis (20) are arranged parallel to each other.
  3. Holding element according to one of claims 1 or 2,
    characterised in
    that the power drive is provided in the form of a spring accumulator (12), which is supported on the first fitting element (1) and on the lever (19).
  4. Holding element according to claim 3,
    characterised in
    that the spring accumulator (12) comprises a compression spring (17).
  5. Holding element according to one of claims 3 or 4,
    characterised in
    that adjustment means (25) are provided for adjusting the force application point, at which the spring accumulator (12) acts on the lever (19).
  6. Holding element according to claim 5,
    characterised in
    that the adjustment means comprise an adjustment lever (25), which is attached pivotably on the lever (19) and which can be fixed in different pivot positions relative to the lever (19), and
    that the spring accumulator (12) is pivotably attached to the adjustment lever (25).
  7. Holding element according to one of claims 1 to 6,
    characterised in
    that the lever (19) has a first lever portion (23) starting from the pivot axis (20) and a second lever portion (24), which starts opposite to the first lever portion (23) from the pivot axis (20), wherein the setting arm (26) is pivotably attached on the first lever portion (23) and the power drive (12) acts on the second lever portion (24).
  8. Holding element according to claim 7,
    characterised in
    that the lever (19) has a central bore (21), with which it is rotatably supported on a trunnion (22), wherein the trunnion (22) is connected to the first fitting element (1).
  9. Holding element according to claim 8,
    characterised in
    that the lever (19) has a slot (40), which ends, starting from an outer contour (41) of the lever (19), in the central bore (21).
  10. Holding element according to claim 9,
    characterised in
    that the slot (40) is arranged such, that when applying a force by the setting arm (26) and by the spring accumulator (12) to the lever (19), the lever (19) is clamped with the wall, which delimits the central bore (21), onto the trunnion (22).
  11. Holding element according to one of claims 1 to 6,
    characterised in
    that a damper (34) is provided, which damps the pivot movement of the lid (4) until reaching the closed position.
  12. Holding element according to claim 11,
    characterised in
    that the damper (34) has a housing (35), which is connected to the first support arm (5),
    that a slider (36) is axially displaceable relative to the housing (35), wherein the slider (36) is acted upon by a force towards a fully extended position, and that an abutment element (37) is attached on the first fitting element (2), wherein the slider (36), when transferring the lid (4) into the closed position, approaches the abutment element (37) till it abuts the same and is transferred into the retracted position.
  13. Holding element according to claim 12,
    wherein the damper (34) is formed such,
    that the slider (36) is held in the housing (35) in a rest position between a fully retracted position and a fully extended position,
    that the slider (36) is released by means of retracting into the fully retracted position and is displaced by spring means arranged in the housing (35) up to the fully extended position, and
    that the slider (36) is, during a renewed displacement of it up to the fully retracted position, locked and is extended up to the rest position.
