Thanks to the uniform distribution of the deformations, the material remains integral and compact in the bending region and that makes it possible to bend even painted sections without the layer of paint becoming detached or cracked due to the effect of the bending stresses. Furthermore, the bending can be performed with the greatest precision without having to use special equipment to control the bending angle.
- a preferred application of the section predisposed for bending in accordance with the invention envisages four notches to obtain bending angles of 90° separated from each other in such a way as to form a rectangular frame after the bending.

- the side in question will be shorter than it would be if the sharp angle were "outside the side", i.e. further removed from the reference point than the rounded angle. Therefore, whenever the junction point has to be situated exactly at the centre of a side, the side in question has to be delimited by grooves that either have both their sharp angles within the side or both the sharp angles outside thereof. Naturally, if a perfectly rectangular frame is to be obtained, it is essential that the distance between the grooves of the side opposite to the one with the joint should be reduced or increased in a corresponding manner.

- the screw 51 is screwed, if necessary by means of an articulated screw driver (schematically shown in Figures 5 and 6a), into the channel 15 that opens onto the end of the section opposite to the one with the screw, until the joint is completely tight.

If the section used is the one shown in Figure 2, it will be best to use two screws both for closing the frame and also for any stiffening thereof, naturally after having formed two spaces for inserting the screws that are to be screwed into the respective longitudinal channels.
- the section predisposed for bending in accordance with the invention makes it possible to fabricate frames and framed structures without the use of special equipment for the bending, because this operation is performed manually, and without the use of specific fixing means, because this operation is carried out by using only one or more self-threading screws for closing and possibly also stiffening (the frame). Furthermore, thanks to the conformation of the bending notches, the bending radius is always uniform, so that the section may be painted before it is bent; rather, in the greater part of cases it may be painted even before the various machining operations.

Claims (6)
- Profil, das zum Biegen entlang zumindest einer quer verlaufenden Biegelinie seiner ebenen Grundseite (10) vorbereitet ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es an jeder Biegelinie mit einer V-Kerbe versehen ist, die sich über die gesamte Breite des Profils erstreckt und mit ihrer Spitze in der Grundseite (10) endet und darin eine im wesentlichen viereckige Nut (1) bildet, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die genannte Nut eine spitze Ecke (32) und eine gerundete Ecke (33) aufweist.
- Profil nach Anspruch 1, das vier V-Kerben aufweist, die mit der Grundseite (10) Winkel von 45° bilden und vier Biegelinien definieren, wobei die Nuten von zwei benachbarten Kerben ihre spitzen Ecken (32) auf einer Seite haben und die Nuten der anderen zwei benachbarten Kerben ihre spitzen Ecken (32) auf der anderen Seite haben.
- Profil nach Anspruch 1 oder Anspruch 2, das eine Struktur aufweist, die zumindest einen Längskanal (15) parallel zur Grundseite und zumindest eine Aussparung umfasst, die durch Entfernen eines Teils des Längskanals (15) gebildet wird, um einen Abschnitt des Längskanals (15) in der Nähe eines der beiden Enden des Profils zugänglich zu machen.
- Rahmen, der aus einem einzigen Profilabschnitt nach Anspruch 3 gebildet ist, welcher entlang von vier Biegelinien gebogen ist, wobei die zwei Enden des Profils mittels zumindest einer Schraube (51) stumpf aneinandergefügt sind, die durch den Kanalabschnitt hindurchführt und in den Kanal eingeschraubt wird, der zum anderen Ende des Profils hin geöffnet ist.
- Profil nach Anspruch 1 oder Anspruch 2, aufweisend vier Kerben, die mit der Grundseite (10) Winkel von 45° bilden und vier Biegelinien definieren, eine Struktur, die zumindest einen Längskanal (15) umfasst, der parallel zur Grundseite ist und zumindest eine Bohrung, die sich in einer Position nächst zumindest einer der Biegelinien im rechten Winkel so zu der Grundseite erstreckt, dass sie zu dem Längskanal (15) ausgerichtet wird, wenn das Profil entlang der jeweiligen Biegelinie gebogen wird.
- Rahmen, der aus einem einzigen Profilabschnitt nach Anspruch 5 gebildet ist, der entlang der vier Biegelinien gebogen ist und zumindest eine Schraube umfasst, die durch die Bohrung hindurchgeführt und in den Kanal, der zu der Bohrung ausgerichtet ist, eingeschraubt wird.
