Definitions

  • the invention relates to a blister pack with the features of the preamble of claim 1 and the features of the preamble of claim 9 and a packaging unit with the features of the preamble of claim 20.
  • Blister packs of the type in question which are often referred to as blister packs, serve in the pharmaceutical, ecotrophic and cosmetic sector as containers for accommodating corresponding products such as capsules, dragees, tablets, drug beads, etc.
  • blister pack In such blister pack is the lumpy product within the cup-like upper part, the opening of which is tightly closed by the sealing film such as sealing film. The product is thus protected against environmental influences such as moisture and dirt and guarantees the consumer the durability and original condition of the packaged product.
  • a blister pack of the type in question is described for example in the EP 0 563 934 A1 Further information on the state of the art can also be found in the documents DE 299 07 744 U1 . DE 29 07 740 U1 . DE 43 17 326 C1 . DE 91 03 973 U1 . US Pat. No. 6,443,307 B1 and WO 98/43893 A1 just to name a few publications.
  • the document US 3,343,897A discloses a blister pack having the features of the preamble of claim 1.
  • the design of blister packs and the selection of plastic films to form the top of closure films is one of the tools of the art in packaging technology. In general, the example " Packaging Handbook 1999 ", publishing house for chemical industry, Augsburg, in particular pages 211 to 213, 388 to 413 to get expelled. Extensive explanations on the parameters involved, the plastics used, etc. are given there.
  • the side wall of the cup-like, formed from plastic film shell is preferably formed conically and optionally adapted to the geometry of the lumpy product, which is located in the blister pack.
  • this adaptation relates to the shaping of the side wall in the plane parallel to the bottom area. In the plane perpendicular thereto, so to speak in a vertical section through the blister pack, there is no particularly preferred shape, the shaping is rather rather production technology or mechanical engineering, depending on the design of the molding device.
  • the teaching is based on the problem of avoiding unintentional retention of the lumpy product in a blister pack of the type in question already by the design of the blister pack and at the same time to achieve that even pressure-sensitive lumpy products can be handled easily.
  • formed from a plastic film upper part of the blister pack is specifically provided with certain contours for forming one or more fold lines, which are designed and arranged such that a narrowing of the outlet of the lumpy product serving opening is avoided.
  • the weaknesses in the upper part formed by the crease lines reduce the force required when pushing the bottom area in the direction of the opening so that even sensitive lumpy products can be dispensed optimally with such push-through packaging.
  • the blister pack according to the invention in the field of cosmetic finished products, especially hair colors, hair colorants and care products.
  • the blister pack according to the invention can form in a particularly advantageous manner, the dispensing device of a second partial packaging of a packaging unit for a single or multi-component end product (claim 20).
  • a packaging unit By such a packaging unit, the activation by the user can be carried out in a simple manner, timed and reproducible and without risk to the user.
  • the second partial packaging is fixed to the first partial packaging.
  • the second subpackage then covers at least partially an opening of the first subpackage with its delivery side.
  • the position of the second partial packaging in the ready-to-use state is precisely determined, so that the delivery of the second product component can take place directly into the unclosed opening of the first partial packaging.
  • the user upon activation of the multi-component end product, the user is forced to place the second subpackage in the predetermined position on the first subpackage. This makes the activation process reproducible and safe for the user. A contact of the user with the second product component can be avoided in any case.
  • the second partial packaging in the ready-to-use state at least partially covers the opening of the first partial packaging.
  • further product components in the ready-to-use state can not be given through the opening of the first subpackage, as long as the second subpackage is fixed to the first subpackage.
  • the second partial packaging In order to be able to add further product components, the second partial packaging must first be detached from the first partial packaging. With a corresponding configuration of the first and the second partial packaging, it can be provided that the release of the second partial packaging from the first partial packaging corresponds to a reaction time to be observed, so that the user is forced to comply with this reaction time.
  • the fixing of the second partial packaging to the first partial packaging can preferably be effected by screwing, inserting, bouncing or the like.
  • a screw is particularly advantageous that the time required for the separation of the sub-packages by the number of threads, preferably in the first sub-package, is controllable.
  • the first partial packaging is resealable, preferably by a screw cap, formed. After admitting a product component in the first partial packaging, the first partial packaging can be closed again, so that mixing by shaking is possible. Only after the closure has been opened is it then possible to add further product components. As a result, a further time delay is controllable depending on the configuration of the screw cap.
  • the second sub-package on a dispenser for the product component or the product components which aus dropt in the ready state in the direction of the opening of the first sub-package.
  • a reservoir for receiving the product component or the product components is preferably provided, which ensures a portioned delivery of the product component or the product components. Depending on the design of the reservoir, it may be provided that the user selects the dosage of the product component or the product components themselves.
  • a planar section is provided which is parallel to the opening of the first partial packaging and forms a flat cover over the opening of the first partial packaging in the ready-to-use state and which preferably has the dispensing device.
  • the second subpackage in a preferred embodiment has at least one further section arranged parallel to the opening of the first subpackage and assumes the function of a holder.
  • this holding function is ensured by the fact that the sections of the second sub-packages have openings that at a projection of first partial packaging, in particular a bottleneck, are clamped in the ready state, plugged or screwed.
  • the design of the second sub-package such that the above-mentioned portions of the second sub-package are at least partially formed in a box shape - box section.
  • the second partial packaging is cut and made of foldable material
  • at least one edge of the second partial packaging has one or more oblong holes between the section forming the planar covering over the opening and a bent, preferably right-angled section .
  • the box section is closed laterally on only two opposite sides, it has a parallelogram structure and can be folded in and out. This is particularly advantageous for the ready-to-sell state of the packaging unit, since the second partial packaging is flat in the folded state and substantially strip-shaped. This embodiment is particularly advantageous if the second partial packaging consists essentially of cardboard.
  • the blister pack according to the invention is advantageously used together with the above-mentioned packaging unit as packaging for cosmetic finished products, in particular hair colors, hair tints, care products or the like.
  • at least one further product component from a second subpackage is to be added to at least one product component in a first subpackage in order to arrive at the "final" finished product.
  • the arrangement of the second partial packaging with the partial packaging according to the invention also allows only a dosage of the products from the first partial packaging, so that the user as required on the dosage of a single-component end product or multi-component end product as a mixture of the first partial packaging can decide. Namely, applications are conceivable in which in the second partial packaging only components are stored, leading, for example, to a higher concentration in the final product. An addition is therefore not mandatory.
  • Fig. 1 shows in a section the principle of a blister pack.
  • This consists of a cup-like, made of a plastic film, which may also be a laminated with a metal coating film, shaped upper part 1 with a substantially radially outwardly projecting sealing flange 2 opening 3.
  • the upper part 1 serves to accommodate a lumpy product 4, which here has spherical shape, for example, a drug bead.
  • the opening 3 of the upper part 1 is closed by a push-through closure film 5 connected to the closure flange 2 of the upper part 1, which is preferably a metal foil or a metal / plastic composite foil or burstable plastic foil.
  • Fig. 1 shows for the blister pack of the prior art shown there that the molded plastic film shell 1 has the overall shape of a spherical segment, so no special structuring of the upper part 1 is provided.
  • Fig. 2 shows that the upper part 1 a bottom portion 6 opposite the opening 3 and between bottom portion 6 and opening 3 at least partially slightly widening in the direction of the opening 3 Side wall 7 has. Also in the embodiment in Fig. 1 one could speak of side wall 7 and bottom area 6, wherein here, however, the bottom area 6 and the side wall 7 without gradations merge into each other.
  • this is a blister pack for only a lumpy product 4, that the teaching of the invention but also on blister packs with a plurality of juxtaposed tops 1 for receiving each a lumpy product 4 or possibly also for receiving multiple lumpy Products 4 extends.
  • blister packs for only a lumpy product 4, that the teaching of the invention but also on blister packs with a plurality of juxtaposed tops 1 for receiving each a lumpy product 4 or possibly also for receiving multiple lumpy Products 4 extends.
  • Fig. 2 shows that the side wall 7 has a starting from the bottom portion 6, widening first wall portion 8 and an adjoining, less than the first wall portion 8 expanding, possibly not expanding, but exactly cylindrical, second wall portion 9 and that between the wall sections 8, 9 a circumferential crease line 10 is formed such that when directed in the direction of the opening 3 pressure application to the bottom portion 6 of the second wall portion 9 of the side wall 7 iw does not buckle inward. It depends on the extensibility of the plastic material of the upper part 1, to what extent the second wall section 9 displaces radially outward.
  • the arrangement of the wall sections 8, 9 due to the different inclination of the wall sections 8, 9 is such that a radially outwardly directed force component is introduced from the first wall section 8 into the second wall section 9.
  • the product 4 can be caused by the pressure on the bottom portion 6 unhindered emerge from the opening 3 by pressing the sealing film 5.
  • the illustrated embodiment shows that here both the first wall section 8 and the second wall section 9 thereby widen in the direction of the opening 3, that they have a conical shape or a conical contour. But this is not mandatory, even a curved course can achieve a similar effect.
  • the side wall 7 by the manufacturing process has a greater wall thickness than the bottom portion 6.
  • the production of the blister pack is realized such that the second wall section 9 is rigid, in particular stiffer than the first wall section 8. This ensures that the bottom region 6 with the first wall section 8 under axial pressure transmission can be pressed on the lumpy product 4 inwardly in the almost cylindrical receiving space ultimately formed by the second wall portion 9, without the second wall portion 9 folds prematurely. This also serves to maintain the movement space for the product 4 and the safe discharge of the product 4 from the opening 3.
  • Fig. 3 shows a further embodiment of a blister pack.
  • the second wall section 9 and here also the first wall section 8 is provided with mechanical stiffeners 11 formed in the plastic material, in particular beads, bending lines, etc.
  • the mechanical stiffeners 11 certain areas of the side wall 7 can be reinforced and other areas of the side wall 7 in turn be weakened, so that a certain behavior of the Side wall 7 can be realized in pressure in the axial direction of the bottom portion 6.
  • it can be achieved by this contouring of the upper part 1 some interesting visual and design effect.
  • the plastic material of the upper part 1 is not transparent or translucent, but metallic shiny, for example, steamed or laminated, or even pearlescent shiny.
  • stiffeners 11 Due to the design of the stiffeners 11 also axially extending crease lines can be realized, as shown here.
  • the distribution of the stiffeners 11 on both wall sections 8, 9 creates the optimal influencing possibility of the behavior of the upper part 1 when pressure is exerted on the floor area 6.
  • the bottom portion 6 arcuately merges into the first wall portion 8, in particular with the first wall portion 8 is formed dome-shaped together. This is not shown here.
  • the embodiments of the 3 and 4 show, moreover, that here the second wall section 9 merges with the formation of a bending line 13 directly into the closure flange 2.
  • Fig. 5 and 6 show - embodiments that are designed differently than the embodiments of the figures described above.
  • an alternative descriptive claim 9 provided that the side wall 7 merges at the open edge to form a bending line 14 in an iw radially outwardly projecting annular flange 15 that the annular flange 15 at the radially outer edge in an approximately cylindrical shell portion 16 merges, which merges at its open edge to form a bending line 17 in the closure flange 2 and that when directed in the direction of the opening 3 pressure application to the bottom portion 6 of the annular flange 15 folds inward and radially outward.
  • Fig. 5 shows in an enlarged section the relationships in the region of the bending line 14 between the side wall 7 and the annular flange 15.
  • the arrow indicates how the region of the bending line 14 when applying axially directed pressure on the bottom portion 6 of the upper part 1 down and outsourced.
  • the connecting bow between the annular flange 15 and the shell portion 16 has here the function of a pivoting hinge.
  • the arrow makes it clear that the effective for the product 4 passage opening at the level of the bending line 14 by the axial pressure on the bottom portion 6 radially tends to increase anyway. Of course, this is also dependent on the extensibility of the plastic material used. In any case, the direction of force action is clear.
  • the transition from the annular flange 15 to the jacket section 16 is rounded off, that is, it does not form a bending line. This promotes the controlled hinge function of this area.
  • This cylindrical jacket section 16 makes it possible to insert the push-through package as a whole into a circular opening of a holder consisting of cardboard, for example.
  • This may be an opening in a cardboard strip, which is part of an overall multi-part packaging unit. Due to the manufacturing process, a slightly inclined course of the shell section 16, which slightly widening towards the opening 3, is readily realized. Appropriate and also manufacturable is also an exactly cylindrical course. Interesting is the construction even if, how Fig. 5 and 6 show, the skirt portion 16 from the opening 3 to the annular flange 15 extends slightly widening, which allows a kind of locking in an opening in a cardboard strip.
  • the total height of the upper part 1 of the push-through packaging should be at 8 to 15 mm.
  • Fig. 5 shows an embodiment of a blister pack, in which the features of the embodiment of Fig. 2 are also realized, so the teachings of both independent claims are combined.
  • Fig. 6, 7 an embodiment in which also the features of the embodiment of 3 and 4 are realized with.
  • characteristics of both stakeholders are realized.
  • both exemplary embodiments an optimal design and applicability of the blister pack according to the invention results.
  • both embodiments can also be realized side by side and independently.
  • the thickness of the starting plastic material of the upper part 1 is about 150 .mu.m to 600 .mu.m, preferably about 400 .mu.m, and at the kinks about 180 .mu.m to 220 .mu.m, preferably about 200 .mu.m.
  • the kinks are thinner, preferably by about 30% to 60% thinner than the wall material. This applies in any case for typical plastic films made of PE, PP, PS, PET; PVC / PVDC, PVC / PFC etc. (see the specialist literature and patent specifications mentioned in the beginning).
  • the sealing film 5 is designed as a metal foil, as a multilayer foil using metal and / or plastic and / or paper, as a burstable plastic film or as a paper foil.
  • the thickness of the sealing film 5 is a wide range.
  • metal foils in particular aluminum foils, a preferred range of 15-20 ⁇ m results.
  • Penetration forces of the sealing film 5 according to DIN 53142 in the range of 10 to 20 N are equally recommended.
  • a typical aluminum composite foil defines a force of 15 N.
  • the illustrated and preferred embodiment shows the design of the lumpy product 4 as a spherical solid (pearl). This is not mandatory, but particularly appropriate. For the rest may here especially on the already mentioned DE 102 08 875.6 be pointed out. It is also possible to stock other dosage forms such as gels, menthols, granules or liquids, but these must be flowable.

  • the claimed blister pack is particularly recommended for a lumpy product 4, which is merely a component of a multi-component overall product, in particular a cosmetic finished product.
  • the lumpy product 4 in the blister pack according to the invention is a coloration product, in particular the color component of a multi-component hair dye or hair tinting agent or a component of a hair care product.
  • the blister pack according to the invention allows a secure, non-contact and fast introduction of the component into the component receiving product.
  • FIG. 8 shows a side view of such a packaging unit for a multi-component end product, which consists of several separate sub-packages 21, 22, wherein on a first sub-package 21 with at least one Product component, a second sub-package 22 with at least one further product component can be fixed and the second sub-package 22 with its delivery side 23 for the at least one further product component, an opening 24 of the first sub-package 21 at least partially covered.

  • the ready for sale condition of the packaging unit For sale, the individual sub-packages 21,2 are arranged in a higher-order packaging, in particular a folding box. It may be pointed out that the second partial packaging is not necessarily fixed exclusively in the ready-to-use state of the first partial packaging, but that it can also be provided that the second partial packaging is already fixed to the first partial packaging when ready for sale. Then there is no superordinate packaging and the loss of the partial packaging is prevented.
