Abstract

A papermaking assembly has an airturn guide rod (10) emitting compressed air through its porous surface to form an air cushion between the rod and a wet moving paper or carton web (28). The web moves over the airturn guide with a sieve belt (40). The airturn rod guide is located after a machine press, press arrangement or press section, and/or prior to an air drier e.g. an impingement drier. The rod-shaped guide has an outer air-porous surface (12) supported by an air-porous tubular supporting rod (24) with an internal feed of compressed air. Separation between the web and rod is maintained by an air cushion. The air pressure is maintained above 1 bar in the pressure chamber. The specific volume flow in the porous material is in the range 10 to 5000 Nm/h m. The intervals between adjacent pores is less than 1 mm. The average pore diameter is less than 0.1 mm. The drop in pressure between the pressure chamber and pore outer surface is greater than 0.8 bar. The air cushion between the pore outer surface and moving web is less than 3 mm. The rod rotates about its longitudinal axis. The rod diameter is 500 to 1500 mm.

Description

The invention relates to a web guide device with at least one guide element for non-contact web guide in one of the production and / or treatment of a material web, in particular paper or board web, serving machine. It further relates to a machine for producing and / or treating a material web, in particular paper or board web, with at least one such web guide device. The guide element is designed as a rotating, guide roller, which is also surrounded by the web and at least one screen belt and has a guide surface.

The guide element is designed as a rotating, guide roller, which is also surrounded by the web and at least one screen belt and has a guide surface.

The document DE 196 51 191 A1 relates to a dryer section of a machine for producing a material web, in particular a paper or board web, with at least one drying cylinder each having at least one drying cylinder and having a deflection, within which the material web is guided together with a conveyor belt, wherein the drying cylinders are formed as suction rollers and the Conveyor belt and the material web are guided so that the conveyor belt is guided directly on the drying cylinder and the material web on the side facing away from the drying cylinder of the conveyor belt, and wherein the drying cylinder is associated with a dryer hood, which acts on the conveyor belt lying on the conveyor belt with hot air.

So far, the material web is guided by guide rollers, in which a contact with the surface and a drive are absolutely necessary. Such a web guide is now relatively expensive and expensive. The web must be pulled off the surface of such guide rolls, for which appropriate peel-off forces are to be applied.

The invention has for its object to provide an improved web guide device and an improved machine of the type mentioned, in which the aforementioned disadvantages are eliminated. In particular, a stable wrinkle-free and reliable web guide of the wet web should be achieved without adhesion.

The object is achieved in that the guide roller is driven and the guide surface at least partially from air-permeable porous material consists, which is acted upon by compressed air to form an air cushion over the air flowing through this porous material between the guide surface and the moving material web.

The high pressure loss on the porous material produces a very uniform air cushion, so that the material web is reliably guided at a relatively small distance from the surface. This brings in particular a wrinkle-free run with it. The relatively high internal pressure prevents any adhesion to the surface.

The web guiding device can therefore in particular comprise at least one driven guide roll, which is additionally looped around by at least one wire belt and which is supplied with compressed air and has an open surface, but with a high pressure loss, through which air is pressed from the inside. Thus, a stable uniform air cushion is generated both in time and space, which leads the web in particular after a press, preferably directly after such a press, and / or before an impingement dryer without adhesion to the guide element.

Preferably, the guide roller comprises at least one pressure chamber via which the porous material can be acted upon with compressed air. In this case, the porous material may be at least partially applied to a carrier containing the pressure chamber, provided with air passage openings. However, for example, in particular, such embodiments are conceivable in which the porous material forms at least a part of the pressure chamber wall.

The pressure in the pressure chamber may in particular be greater than 0.5 bar, wherein it is preferably greater than 1 bar.

Der spezifische Volumenstrom im porösen Material liegt zweckmäßigerweise in einem Bereich von etwa 10 bis etwa 5000 Nm3/h · m2.The specific volume flow in the porous material is suitably in a range of about 10 to about 5000 Nm 3 / h · m 2 .

The hole or pore distance or the distance of the outlet openings of the air-permeable porous material is preferably less than 1 mm.

The porous material is in particular such that no individual jets, but instead a very uniform air cushion is generated, whereby a very good web guide is ensured, which remains contact-free in any case, especially in holes, cracks or straps. In a preferred practical embodiment of the web guiding device according to the invention, the mean size of the outlet openings, pores and / or holes of the porous material is less than 0.2 mm and preferably less than 0.1 mm.

Preferably, the porous material is chosen so that there is a high pressure loss from the inside to the environment, whereby a very uniform air cushion is generated. In an expedient practical embodiment of the web guiding device according to the invention, the pressure loss is, in particular, from the side facing away from the moving material web side to the material web side of the porous material greater than 0.2 bar and preferably greater than 0.8 bar.

The thickness of the air cushion formed between the guide surface and the moving material web and thus the web distance to the surface is expediently less than 5 mm and preferably less than 3 mm.

For example, the guide roll may have a diameter in a range of about 100 to about 2500 mm, and preferably in a range of about 500 to about 1500 mm.

The wire belt looping around the guide roller can be guided between the guide roller and the material web or on the side of the material web remote from the guide roller, i. lie outside.

In a preferred practical embodiment of the web guide device according to the invention, the guide roller is composed of several individual segments in the transverse direction and / or in the machine direction.

In this case, at least a part of the segments can be assigned a common compressed air supply. However, the segments can also be supplied at least partially via separate compressed air supplies.

In Maschinenlaufrichtung bzw. Querrichtung kann also eine spezielle zonenweise Druckabstufung erfolgen. In a preferred practical embodiment of the web guiding device according to the invention, a zone-wise separate compressed air supply is provided via individual separate segments and / or segment groups in the machine running direction and / or in the transverse direction. In the machine direction or transverse direction, therefore, a special zonal pressure graduation can take place.

As already mentioned, the web guiding device according to the invention can be used in particular in a machine for producing and / or treating a material web, in particular a paper or board web. The rotating, driven guide roller is this Web guiding device preferably also surrounded by at least one screen belt, apart from the material web.

According to a preferred practical embodiment of the machine according to the invention, after a press of a press assembly or press section, preferably directly after such a press, at least one corresponding, i.e., in the press provided web guide device according to the invention. A corresponding web guide device or guide roller can therefore in particular be used as a replacement for a conventional paper guide roller for a press, i. be provided in a range of very moist, sensitive web. This has the advantage that the train no longer has to be deducted.

It is also particularly advantageous if at least one corresponding web guiding device is provided in front of an air dryer, preferably an impingement dryer. In this case, the corresponding web feed device or guide roller can be provided in particular directly in front of such an air or impingement dryer. This results in particular in an impingement dryer directly after the press, with intervening inventive guide roll, space advantages.

The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to embodiments with reference to the drawing; in this show:
FIG. 1
3 is a schematic longitudinal sectional view of a guide roller which is divided transversely into at least two zones or segments, wherein in the present case the different segments are subjected to the same pressure,
FIG. 2

The Figures 1 and 2 show in a schematic representation comparable exemplary embodiments of a contactless web guide serving as a rotating, driven guide roller 10 running guide element of a web guide device, which is particularly useful in one of the production and / or treatment of a material web, in particular paper or board web, serving machine. In this case, this guide roller 10 is preferably provided after a press of a press arrangement and / or in front of an air dryer, in particular impingement dryer, wherein it is preferably also wrapped by a screen belt 40 except from the material web (see also FIG. 3 ).

The guide roller 10 has a guide surface 12, which consists of air-permeable porous material 14, which is acted upon from the inside with compressed air to form an air cushion 18 through the air flowing through the porous material 14 and air 16 moving web.

The guide roller 10 comprises at least one pressure chamber 20, via which the porous material 14 can be acted upon with compressed air.

As shown, the guide roller 10 can comprise, for example, a carrier 24 containing the pressure chamber 20 and provided with at least one and preferably a plurality of air passage openings 22, on which the porous material 14 is applied. In the present case, this preferably cylindrical carrier 24 is completely surrounded by porous material 14 in the circumferential direction. However, the wall of the pressure chamber 20 may also be provided only over a part of its circumference with air passage openings 22, so that the air cushion 18 is generated only over part of the circumference of the guide roller 10. Expediently, the air cushion 18 is produced at least in the region in which the material web wraps around the guide roller 10.

As based on the Figures 1 and 2 can be seen, the guide roller 10 and the pressure chamber in the transverse direction in at least two zones or segments 20 ', 20 "be divided over which the porous material 14 in the transverse direction, if necessary, separately acted upon with compressed air FIG. 1 The zones 20 ', 20 "are at least temporarily subjected to the same pressure FIG. 2 the same guide roll 10 in a phase in which the zones or segments 20 ', 20 "are currently subjected to different pressure.

Thus, the pressure can vary across the width, i.e., across the width requirements. be varied in the desired manner in the transverse direction.

FIG. 3 shows a schematic representation of an example before an impingement dryer 38 arranged guide roller 10, which is additionally wrapped by a screen belt 40, wherein the screen belt 40 between the guide roller 10 and web 28 is arranged. Subsequently, the screen belt 40 is guided together with the material web 28 through the dryer 38.

The impingement dryer 38 may in particular be arranged directly after a press of a press arrangement or press section, wherein the guide roll 10 according to the invention is then arranged between the press and the air or impingement dryer.
