  • thermoplastic center stack assembly 10 having a thermoplastic housing 12 with at least one molded-in conductor 40 and integral junction box reduces the amount of wiring in an instrument panel assembly. Further, because of the reduced amount of wiring and parts, assembly time is reduced, lowering production costs.

Claims (8)

  1. Console centrale de tableau de bord d'automobile (10) comprenant :
    un boîtier en matière thermoplastique (12) comprenant au moins une paroi (14, 16, 18) ;
    caractérisée par :
    au moins un ensemble de conducteurs (40) assemblé par moulage dans au moins une paroi dudit boîtier.
  2. Console centrale de tableau de bord d'automobile (10) selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle ledit au moins un ensemble de conducteurs (40) s'étend longitudinalement à travers ladite au moins une paroi de boîtier (14, 16, 18).
  3. Console centrale de tableau de bord d'automobile (10) selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle chacun desdits ensembles de conducteurs (40) comprend une première partie d'extrémité et une deuxième partie d'extrémité.
  4. Console centrale de tableau de bord d'automobile (10) selon la revendication 1, comprenant en outre un boîtier de boîte de raccordement (67) assemblé par moulage à l'une desdites au moins une paroi dudit boîtier de console centrale.
  5. Console centrale de tableau de bord d'automobile (10) selon la revendication 4, comprenant en outre une carte de connexion (28) dimensionnée pour être logée dans ledit boîtier de boîte de raccordement (67).
  6. Console centrale de tableau de bord d'automobile (10) selon la revendication 4, comprenant en outre un couvercle de boîte de raccordement (68) accouplé audit boîtier de boîte de raccordement (67).
  7. Procédé de production d'une console centrale de tableau de bord d'automobile (10), la console centrale de tableau de bord d'automobile comprenant un boîtier (12) comportant au moins une paroi (14, 16, 18), ledit procédé comprenant les étapes consistant à :
    prendre un moule (112) ;
    positionner au moins un ensemble de conducteurs (40) au moins partiellement dans le moule ; et
    remplir le moule d'une matière thermoplastique pour mouler la console centrale.
  8. Procédé selon la revendication 7, dans lequel le moule (112) comprend une pluralité de pattes de positionnement (126, 128) pour aligner chaque ensemble de conducteurs (40) à l'intérieur du moule.
