Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a sealing tape for sealing joints in the construction industry with a core of soft foam having a first and a second outer surface, wherein on at least one of the outer surfaces as an overstretch protection a Zugverstärkungsschicht is applied.
Such sealing tapes are used for years in the construction industry for sealing joints. Especially in the production of sandwich panels, large-volume components with two metal skins, is injected between the polyurethane foam, which glued the two metal skins together, sealing tapes are already used during foaming, as a lateral seal to prevent the foam leakage. The sealing strip normally remains permanently connected to the sandwich element after production and is compressed when two sandwich elements are joined, whereby the foam optimally adapts to the joint flank and the gap is filled in perfectly. Such sealing tapes consist for example of polyurethane foam, which is impregnated by impregnation with an aqueous acrylate dispersion. A tensile reinforcement layer can additionally serve as an overstretch protection.
Sometimes it is necessary to remove sealing strips completely or partially from the joint of the not yet finally mounted sandwich element. The reason for this is e.g. the installation of a Fingerklemmschutzes with moving elements. Sealing tapes according to the prior art are usually difficult to remove from the joint, as they can not be deducted in one piece, but tear or at least leave parts of the sealing strip in the joint. Other sealing tapes in turn do not form sufficient adhesion to the foam filling of the sandwich element and fall out of the joint during the processing thereof.
Such a sealing element is known for example from DE-A-196 09 277. The sealing tape has a soft foam core having first and second outer surfaces disposed opposite one another, with a tensile reinforcing layer on the first outer surface, to which a film is in turn attached.
It is therefore the object of the present invention to provide a sealing tape which ensures a secure seal during the foaming of the sandwich element, adheres well to the sandwich element and can still be easily or completely removed from the joint as needed after the manufacture of the sandwich element.
This object is solved by the features of
Characterized in that on the at least one Zugverstärkungsschicht a film is attached, which contains suitable lubricant and is designed such that it adheres to a foam body, but easily and residue-free of this solvable, the sealing tape fulfills its task as a sealing body very reliable, can but can be completely or partially removed from the Sandwichelementfuge if necessary without much effort.
The foam core is preferably made of polyurethane, which ensures a particularly secure sealing of the joint due to the elastic properties of the flexible foam and the resulting resilience.
Preferably, the foam core is impregnated, the impregnate having a delayed recovery of the foam causing property, so that the sealing tape can be used even at high compression.
As an impregnate, an aqueous acrylate dispersion is preferably used, which increases the density of the sealing tape about three times and thus provides excellent sound absorption.

In Fig. 1, a preferred embodiment of the
The
The
On the at least one
Fig. 2 shows a plant for the production of sandwich elements using a sealing strip according to the invention. First, the two wound on
Längenänderungen der Dehnungsfuge werden ausgeglichen, so daß keine Risse oder eine mangelnde Haftung auftreten.FIG. 3 shows an example of a connection of two preferred
Due to the properties of the
The sealing strip according to the invention can also be configured in other variations, in particular, size relationships and geometric details are not restrictive. Often two sealing strips according to the invention are arranged in a joint, which then come to rest on each other when the sandwich elements are pressed against one another.
