Da dieser Bereich anschließend als Auflagefläche für einen Verschluß, z.B. einen Stülpdeckel, der Kartonverbunddose dienen soll, wird nur noch ein unbefriedigender Dichtabschluß erreicht. Dies wirkt sich auf die Haltbarkeit des Verpackungsguts negativ aus.
