  • the number of the driving pins 3 is not specially limited if the driving pins 3 are provided in the first area 8a and the second area 8b, respectively.
  • the rocker knob 5 or the pushbutton knob 6 attached on the detecting switch 2 is not limited to the above-mentioned configuration, and, if it is configured to manipulate a certain pin pattern when pressed, various types of knobs can be applied.
  • the function allocated to each knob can be variously set.
  • the pushbutton knob 6 may have the function of a short cut key for matching a specific frequency in the manipulation of the radio or the function of a key for setting a specific temperature for the steering wheel heater or the control of an air conditioner. Accordingly, according to the present invention, it is possible that the switch for the steering wheel heater is provided in winter and replaced with the temperature setting key of the air conditioner in summer.
  • the rocker knob 5 may have the function of increasing or decreasing the temperature set point of the air conditioner, the tuning function for a radio or the function of fast forward and rewind of the cassette in a cassette tape player.
  • the driving portion of the rocker knob manipulates the pin pattern selected from the driving pins arranged on one side among two areas on the substrate and the pin pattern selected from the driving pins arranged on the other side
  • the driving portion of the pushbutton knob manipulates the pin pattern selected from the driving pins arranged in two areas on the substrate, and these pin patterns are all different patterns; thereby the output signal from each detecting switch can be identified although the rocker knob and the pushbutton knob are mixed, and the control function allocated to each knob can be performed.
  • the pushbutton switch and the rocker switch can be employed interchangably.
  • the driving pin is arranged in the third area as well as the first and second areas, and the pin pattern is set such that the driving pin of the third area is necessarily manipulated when manipulating the pushbutton knob or when manipulating the rocker knob, and thus more knobs can be arranged.
