Definitions
- the present invention relates to a luminaire with a closed light emitting surface, which can be used in particular for decoration purposes.
- Luminaires used for decorative purposes are known in various embodiments.
- a so-called light cube was presented by the company Spectral, in which it is possible to illuminate five of the six side faces of the cube.
- a lamp unit with colored fluorescent lamps and with corresponding operating and control devices for the lamps is arranged inside the housing on the sixth side surface of the cube.
- the light of different colors emitting fluorescent lamps can be individually adjusted in their brightness, so that it is possible to make the five remaining sides of the cube appear in any mixed color.
- Another lamp for decorative purposes is sold by the company Santa & Cole. This is a ball lamp with a large spherical housing in the interior of different colored incandescent lamps are arranged. Also in this lamp, the different colored bulbs can be changed by means of appropriate dimmers in their brightness to achieve a desired mixed color.
- a columnar luminaire which has two groups of illuminants which can emit colored light in opposite principal directions.
- the two groups can be controlled independently of each other, so that the light can radiate forward light in a different color, for example, than to the rear.
- each cuboid lighting elements known, which are covered with a translucent material.
- the lighting elements are several different colored and individually controllable light sources.
- the present invention has for its object to provide a novel lamp, which is particularly suitable for decorative purposes and opens up new lighting and optical possibilities.
- the lamp according to the invention consists of a housing in which at least one light source is arranged.
- the housing forms an essentially closed light emission surface over its entire, transparently formed surface, the light emission surface itself being subdivided into at least two separate light emission regions.
- Each Lichtabstrahl Scheme can by influencing the light source, the housing or arranged between the light source and the Lichtabstrahl Structure light-influencing element be adjusted individually in terms of its brightness and / or color.
- a first special feature of the luminaire according to the invention thus consists in that light can be radiated essentially over the entire surface of the housing.
- the luminaire does not necessarily appear over its entire surface in the same color and / or brightness but can emit light in different areas in different ways.
- a novel lamp is created with the visually appealing effects can be achieved.
- the luminaire is therefore particularly suitable for use for decoration purposes.
- each Lichtabstrahl Scheme individually assigned lighting means are assigned.
- This can be achieved, for example, by a reflector arrangement arranged in the interior of the housing, which in each case forms a reflector chamber adjoining the light emission region for each light emission region, in which at least one light source is arranged.
- a plurality of differently colored bulbs are arranged, in particular bulbs in the colors red, green and blue, so that any mixed color can be achieved for a Lichtabstrahl Scheme.
- the storage of the lamps is preferably carried out via a mounted inside the housing mounting element, which in addition to the bulbs and electrical connection means for the bulbs, in particular lamp holders, and control gear for controlling and / or operating the light-emitting means.
- the operating devices are preferably arranged in the interior of the mounting element and the electrical connection means and the lighting means on the outside thereof.
- the mounting member may be formed, for example cuboid or cylindrical, wherein at least one end face a conical or pyramidal termination is provided and extend electrical lines for supply and / or control along edges and through the tip of the conical or pyramidal statements to the operating devices.
- the mounting element can be carried, for example, by the reflector assembly.
- the lamps used are preferably fluorescent lamps with color filters applied thereto.
- light-emitting diodes or incandescent lamps could be used.
- the outer surfaces of the lamp housing consist of a translucent and color neutral material, for example polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) or polycarbonate (PC).
- PMMA polymethyl methacrylate
- PC polycarbonate
- the luminaire housing itself can basically assume any shape. In particular, it could be formed as a geometric body, for example in the form of a cuboid or cube. However, it would also be conceivable to design the luminaire as a ball lamp.
- the in the FIGS. 1 to 3 shown lamp 1 is a so-called light cube, which emits light over its surface.
- the cube shape shown is suitable in a particularly advantageous manner for use as a decorative lamp. It should be noted, however, that the luminaire according to the invention could also take on any other form. In particular, it would also be possible to make the lamp spherical.
- a special feature of the luminaire 1 according to the invention is that it emits light over its entire surface.
- the cube-shaped lamp housing 2 therefore consists of six transparent side surfaces 4 through a cubic lattice 3 are held.
- the grid 3 can be formed for example by a profile system, as it is known from the WO 99/08575 A1 or the WO 02/26086 A1 is known.
- This known profile system is particularly suitable when the lamp is cuboid, in particular designed as a cube. That from the WO 99/08575 A1
- Known locking system also allows at any time easy access into the housing interior to perform, for example, maintenance and replacement of defective bulbs.
- the housing preferably consists of two half shells, which are assembled to the desired ball. Also in this case, the half-shells as well as the side walls 4 of the illustrated light cube made of a transparent white plastic.
- PMMA polymethyl methacrylate
- PC polycarbonate
- the light cube 1 In order to make the light cube 1 appear in different colors and brightnesses, several bulbs in the form of fluorescent lamps 7 1 -7 4 are arranged in the interior.
- the mounting element 5 In order to minimize the light emission of the fluorescent lamps 7 1 -7 4 via the side surfaces 4 of the light cube 1 - in particular over the bottom surface and the top - the mounting element 5 only extends over a certain height above the housing 2.
- the mounting member 5 At the two end faces the mounting member 5, however, are provided pyramidal terminations, which form only a point-to-point connection with these two side surfaces 4, so that even over these two surfaces almost complete light emission is achieved.
- the control of the fluorescent lamps 7 1 -7 4 is preferably carried out via a plurality of operating devices 8 1 -8 4 , which are connected via corresponding electrical connection means with - not shown - Lampholders for the fluorescent lamps 7 1 -7 4 .
- the operating devices 8 1 -8 4 are arranged inside the housing of the mounting member 5, while on the other hand, the fluorescent lamps 7 1 -7 4 are located on the four outer walls of the mounting member 5.
- light-emitting LEDs or incandescent lamps could also be used.
- the mounting member 5 is arranged with the fluorescent lamps 7 1 -7 4 arranged therein completely inside the housing 2 of the lamp 1 and spaced from the outer surfaces 4. In this case, a certain minimum distance is desired so that disturbing images caused by the arrangement in the interior shadows on the outer surfaces 4 are avoided.
- the two pyramidal terminations 6 contribute to the end faces of the mounting element 5. If the mounting element 5, for example, cylindrical, so could be used in an analogous manner to avoid the shadow kegelfömige statements at the two end faces.
- the emergence of disturbing images on the outer surfaces 4 of the light cube 1 can also be prevented in that the transparent side surfaces 4 have light-scattering properties.
- small scattering bodies could be introduced into the material, which bring about a homogenization of the brightness.
- luminaire 1 does not necessarily have to appear in the same color or brightness over its entire outer surface. Instead, different Lichtabstrahl Schemee can be adjusted individually in terms of their brightness and / or color, this setting can change over time.
- the outer surface of the lamp housing 2 is divided into a plurality of Lichtabstrahl Schemee 10 1 -10 4 , each Lichtabstrahl Scheme individually by its associated light sources 7 1 -7 4 can be illuminated.
- the division of the light emitting surface in the individual Lichtabstrahl Schemee 10 1 -10 4 is achieved by a reflector arrangement which divides the interior of the housing 2 in each case light-tightly separate reflector chambers 9 1 -9 4 .
- the reflector assembly consists of four planar reflectors 9, which are arranged parallel to the diagonals of two opposing side surfaces 4 - in the example shown, the top and bottom - of the housing 2.
- This arrangement of the reflectors 9 can in particular the representation in Fig. 1 as well as the sectional view in Fig. 2 be removed.
- the reflectors 9 follow the contour of the housing 2 and nestle with a part of their boundary edges on the inner sides of the side walls 4 and the framework 3, so that in the example shown four separate light-tight Reflector chambers 9 1 -9 4 are formed.
- the reflectors 9 also represent a supporting framework for the mounting member 5 and hold this.
- a Lichtabstrahl Scheme 10 1 -10 4 each consist of a corresponding side surface 4 of the light cube and from the two adjoining triangles on the top and bottom of the housing 2, which are formed by the boundary edges of the reflectors 9.
- the reflector chambers 9 1 -9 4 in the interior of the lamp housing 2 are at least partially bounded by the outer surfaces of the mounting member 5.
- the fluorescent lamps 7 1 -7 4 arranged on the outer sides of the mounting element 5 are each arranged in the corresponding reflector chambers 9 1 -9 4 .
- each Lichtabstrahl Scheme 10 1 -10 4 are individually illuminated by the associated fluorescent lamps 7 1 -7 4 .
- each Lichtabstrahl Scheme 10 1 -10 4 three fluorescent lamps associated with the light in the colors red, green and blue.
- all the different colors of the color spectrum-in particular white-can thus be set in a previously known manner.
- the light of the different light-emitting regions 10 1 -10 4 associated with illuminants 7 1 -7 4 is not mixed.
- a punching plate 15 consists of two rectangular surfaces 16, which each have triangles 17 at their upper and lower edges. After punching a correspondingly shaped sheet metal part of this is then along the connecting line between the two rectangular surfaces 16 folded in an L-shape, wherein the four triangles 17 are then deformed or bent to the inside to form the pyramidal terminations 6.
- a mounting member 5 is formed from two so designed and interconnected punching plates 15, wherein the connection of the two boards 15 respectively a side edge of a connecting plate 18 is arranged with corresponding holes 19.
- Fig. 5 represents a sheet metal part, which is used to form a in the Fig. 1-3 illustrated reflector 9 is used.
- the stamped part 20 in turn consists of a rectangular elongate base body 21, from which in its respective end regions two triangles. 22 extend laterally. These triangles 22 are required to achieve the light-tightly separate reflector chambers in the region of the conical terminations 6, since they compensate for the taper of the terminations 6 to the front side.
- a fastening tab 23 is provided on the longitudinal side in order to connect the reflector to the mounting element 5.
- the mounting element consists of a cuboidal basic structure with a cross-sectional area of 180 x 180 mm and a height of 650 mm, whereby the overall height of the pyramid-shaped bottom and top surfaces is 700 mm.
- the outer surface of the mounting element consists of a white lacquered sheet metal and thus also has a diffuse reflecting effect.
- each reflector chamber are each associated with three fluorescent lamps in the colors red, green and blue.
- the different color of the fluorescent lamps is achieved by filter bags, which were applied to commercially available fluorescent lamps.
- the distance between two fluorescent lamps is 50 mm each.
- a novel luminaire is thus created by the present invention, which is suitable for achieving special optical effects.
- An essential feature is that the luminaire emits light over its entire outer surface, it being possible to illuminate individual areas in different colors and brightnesses.
