Definitions
- the present invention relates to a burner arrangement for a heater, in particular vehicle heater, comprising a combustion chamber and a Flame tube leading combustion products away from the combustion chamber with an entry area near the combustion chamber, in which combustion products enter the flame tube and an exit area, in which combustion products emerge from the flame tube, and further relates to a heater having such a burner arrangement, especially vehicle heater.
- a Burner arrangement for a heater in particular a vehicle heater, comprising a combustion chamber and the combustion products of Flame tube leading away from the combustion chamber with one of the combustion chamber close entry area, in which combustion products in the flame tube enter, and an exit area in which combustion products emerge from the flame tube, further comprising at least an intermediate exit area between the entry area and the Exit area, in which intermediate exit area part of the combustion exhaust gases can emerge from the flame tube.
- the at least one intermediate exit area becomes a distribution of the combustion chamber with very high temperature leaving combustion exhaust gases to heat the in a heat exchanger arrangement circulating fluid along the length of the flame tube reached so that even in an intermediate area or one of the combustion chamber closer area of the flame tube combustion products with a higher temperature to transfer heat to one to be heated Medium can be provided.
- the total surface area available for heat transfer Heat exchanger housing can be used more efficiently and also a more uniform temperature transfer to the medium to be heated defined temperature conditions in this one heat exchanger arrangement then leaving the medium.
- the flame tube in the at least an intermediate outlet area at least one intermediate outlet opening having.
- the flame tube has at least two flame tube sections and that in a transition area between an upstream - Based on a flow direction of the combustion products in the Flame tube - and a downstream of the flame tube sections at least one intermediate outlet opening is provided. It can then in a very simple way the combustion products are released from the flame tube in this area by that in the transition area an opening between the flame tube sections forms at least part of an intermediate outlet opening.
- a particularly preferred embodiment can provide be that the upstream flame tube section has a larger cross-sectional dimension than the downstream flame tube section, then further preferably the downstream flame tube section engages in the upstream flame tube section and at least part of an intermediate exit opening in the overlap area of the upstream flame tube section with the downstream Flame tube section is provided.
- This configuration has the special Advantage that the anyway in the longitudinal direction of the upstream Flame tube section flowing combustion product in the between the two flame tube sections formed ring-like overlap area can enter without redirection, so that also not the danger of a flow congestion is created.
- Furthermore has the training of the flame tube with its different cross-sectional dimensions trained flame tube sections result in that the entrance area closer section of the flame tube this is a larger one Has outer dimension than in an area close to the outlet area.
- the upstream Flame tube section and the downstream flame tube section essentially are cylindrical. It is thus possible to do both Generate flame tube sections simply by cutting sheet metal tubes to length.
- the at least one intermediate outlet opening in an outer wall of the Flame tube is formed.
- a heater in particular vehicle heater, which is an inventive Has burner arrangement, such as a heat exchanger arrangement with a heat exchanger housing, in which the flame tube protrudes.
- the flame tube facing side of the heat exchanger housing a support structure for Carrying at least one flame tube section is provided. It is for example possible that a plurality on the heat exchanger housing of fins extending in the longitudinal direction of the flame tube is provided and that the support structure at least part of the ribs includes. Such fins are generally used in heat exchanger housings available anyway to increase the heat transfer surface and at the same time a defined flow direction for the combustion products to be able to pretend.
- Fig. 1 are parts of one according to the principles of the present invention trained vehicle heater 10 in longitudinal section, that is cut along a longitudinal center axis L, shown.
- the vehicle heater 10 comprises a burner arrangement 1 2 and a heat exchanger arrangement 14, each of which is only for the principles of the present invention relevant components are shown.
- the burner arrangement 12 comprises an essentially pot-shaped one Combustion chamber housing 16, in which a combustion chamber 18 is formed is. Via a centrally provided in the combustion chamber housing 16 Combustion air inlet connector 20 becomes combustion air under the conveying action a combustion air blower, not shown, in the Combustion chamber 18 initiated. Also is a fuel supply, not shown Fuel introduced, for example by evaporation, so that in the combustion chamber 18 an ignitable or combustible Fuel / air mixture is generated. This for example generated by a glow ignition mixture for combustion a flame and combustion exhaust gases that combustor 18 at the in leave the side recognizable on the left and into a generally 22nd enter the designated flame tube.
- the flame tube 22 recognizable in FIG. 1 essentially has two cylindrical flame tube sections 24, 26.
- these two flame tube sections 24, 26 have different dimensions to have.
- the flame tube section 26 which has a smaller cross-sectional dimension than the upstream flame tube section 24, forms in its end region remote from the combustion chamber 18 an outlet region 36 of the flame tube 22, in which the combustion products flowing up to this outlet region 36 emerge from the flame tube 22, such as shown by arrows P 1 .
- This opening area 40 defines an intermediate exit area 42, in which, as indicated by arrows P 2 , combustion products which have flowed along the upstream flame tube section 24 and in a region close to the wall thereof can also escape from the flame tube 22.
- this intermediate exit area 42 in which the mentioned opening area 40 forms an intermediate exit opening 44, the two flame tube sections 24, 26 are also carried against one another.
- outwardly projecting support sections 46 are provided, for example soldered, glued or fixed in some other way, which, like the flame tube section 26, engage in the flame tube section 24 and thus the two flame tube sections 24, 26 with respect to one another hold.
- a fixation by soldering or the like can also take place on the flame tube section 24.
- FIG Heat exchanger housing 48 Of the heat exchanger arrangement 14 is only an inner one in FIG Heat exchanger housing 48 shown. This essentially has one pot-like structure with a bottom wall 50 and a peripheral wall 52 on. On the outside of the bottom wall 50 and the peripheral wall 52 so-called outer ribs 54 are provided, which in the Conduct heat exchanger assembly 14 circulating medium to be heated and transfer heat to it. On the inside of the heat exchanger housing 48, that is to say the side facing the flame tube 22, are so-called Inner ribs 56 are provided, starting from the bottom area 50 in the longitudinal direction of the flame tube 22 essentially over the entire length of the heat exchanger housing 48 or the peripheral wall 52 of the same extend. These inner ribs 56 serve the Heat transfer surface on which of those leaving the flame tube 22 Combustion products heat the heat exchanger housing 48 is transmitted to enlarge, and also serve to increase the an outlet 59 flowing back combustion products to specify certain defined flow direction.
- the combustion products leaving the combustion chamber 18 thus occur in the entry area 28 through the central opening 34 of the Flame shield 30 first in the upstream flame tube section 24 of the flame tube 22 and flow in the direction R toward Transitional area 38.
- Part of the combustion products now occurs in the Intermediate exit area 42 from the flame tube 22.
- the remaining one Part flows into the downstream flame tube section 26 and occurs on Exit area 36 from the flame tube 22 and is there by the Bottom region 50 deflected to on the outside of the flame tube 22nd along one between the outside of the flame tube 22 and the peripheral wall 52 of the heat exchanger housing 48 formed space 58 to flow back.
- the inner ribs 56 in their from the bottom area 50 starting area 60 starting from the peripheral wall 52 of the heat exchanger housing 48 have a greater extension length, than in a region 62 further downstream (downstream based on the flow direction of the combustion products in the Gap 58).
- the area 60 of the inner ribs 56 also extends over a partial length area of the flame tube section 26.
- the ribs 56 are in this Area 60 dimensioned so that their radially inward-facing surfaces 64 form a support surface for the flame tube section 26, so that this is positioned between those distributed in the circumferential direction Inner surfaces 64 of the areas 60 of the inner ribs 56 is clamped.
- Around The flame tube section can improve this clamping effect 26 have a longitudinal slot 66.
- the shape of the inner ribs 56 can be at least in the rib region 60 be such that the one to be provided when carrying out a casting process
- the draft angle has only a very small angle, so that at least in the area in which the exit area 36 on Flame tube section 26 is formed, a fixed clamping effect Inner surfaces 64 to be tapered towards one another at the flame tube section 26 is generated.
- Rivet elements 72 are provided which have openings in tabs 68 enforce and then the tabs 68 and thus the Hold the flame tube section 26 firmly on the inner ribs 56. additionally
- the rib areas 60 can be dimensioned such that they have their inner surfaces 64 rest firmly against the flame tube section 26, so that too Rattling noises leading movements of the flame tube section 26 cannot occur. It should be noted here that it goes without saying the attachment of the tabs 68 to the inner ribs 56 is not necessarily by rivet elements, but also by screw elements or the like can be done. When using rivet elements can be designed as blind rivets, but can also be as on the step-like transition region 70 molded rivet elements provided his.
- the heating device or modified the burner assembly 12 in various areas can be. So of course it is possible to do more than just two Provide flame tube sections and thus more than one intermediate exit area provided.
- the flame tube 22 can again as a continuous Material section be formed.
- U-shaped cuts 74 are cut or punched, so that the U-opening related to the flow direction R of the combustion products is positioned downstream in the flame tube 22.
- tab 76 is bent inwards, so that, as can be seen in FIG. 6, in the area surrounded by the flame tube 22 and flowed through the combustion products in the direction R. Protrude space.
- an intermediate outlet opening 44 is formed. The along the Wall area of the flame tube 22 flowing in the direction R.
- Combustion products are created by the conductivity of the interior of the flame tube 22 bent tabs 76 deflected radially outward and thus occur in the with respect to the previous embodiments described space 58 a.
- This embodiment has a construction that is easy to implement Figures 5 and 6 have the advantage that by forming such Tabs 76 an entire formation at any position of the flame tube can be formed by intermediate outlet openings 44, their location and density to the special requirements that the leakage of combustion products specify in intermediate areas, be adjusted can.
