Claims (9)

  1. Verfahren zum gleichzeitigen Formen von mehreren Tabakmatten an einer Mehrfachstangen-Zigarettenherstellungsmaschine (1), das folgende Schritte aufweist:
    Zuführen eines Zufuhrstromes (7) von zerkleinertem Tabak zu einer schaltbaren Leitung (22), die wahlweise mit den Einlässen von mindestens zwei abwärts führenden Leitungen (9) in Fluchtung bringbar ist, von welchen jede über eine zugehörige Kardiereinheit (10) mit einer zugehörigen aufwärts führenden Leitung (17) kommuniziert, die durch einen entsprechenden Förderriemen (4) für eine entsprechende Tabakmatte (3) geschlossen ist;
    Bestimmen der Tabakhöhe an mindestens einer abwärts führenden Leitung (9);
    Erzeugen eines Steuersignals in Abhängigkeit von der Tabakhöhe; und
    Umschalten der schaltbaren Leitung (22) zwischen Positionen, die wahlweise mit den abwärts führenden Leitungen (9) auf das Steuersignal hin fluchten.
  2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Steuersignal ein "Minimum-Höhe"-Signal aufweist, das abgegeben wird, sobald eine vorgegebene Minimum-Höhe in einer der beiden abwärts führenden Leitungen (9) erreicht wird.
  3. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei das Steuersignal ein "Maximum-Höhe"- Signal aufweist, das abgegeben wird, sobald eine vorgegebene Maximum-Höhe in einer der beiden abwärts führenden Leitungen (9) erreicht wird.
  4. Vorrichtung zur gleichzeitigen Bildung von mehreren Tabak-Matten (3) an einer Mehrfachstangen-Zigarettenherstellungsmaschine (1), wobei die Vorrichtung einen Zufuhrtrichter (6) für zerkleinerten Tabak, mindestens zwei abwärts führenden Leitungen (9), zwei aufwärts führenden Leitungen (17), wovon jede an eine zugehörige abwärts führende Leitung (9) angeschlossen ist, eine Kardiereinheit (10), die zwischen jeder abwärts führenden Leitung (9) und der zugehörigen aufwärts führenden Leitung (17) eingefügt ist, und einen Förderriemen (4) für eine entsprechende Tabak-Matte (3) aufweist, der an einem Ausgabeende jeder aufwärts führenden Leitung (17) angebracht ist
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Vorrichtung eine Umschalteinrichtung (21) aufweist, die zwischen dem Zufuhrtrichter (6) und den abwärts führenden Leitungen (9) eingefügt ist, und selbst eine schaltbare Leitung (22) aufweist, die wahlweise mit den zugehörigen Einlässen der abwärts führenden Leitungen (9) in Fluchtung bringbar ist;
    dass Steuereinrichtungen (31) vorgesehen sind, um die umschaltbare Leitung (22) zwischen Positionen zu schalten, die entsprechend einem Steuersignal wahlweise mit den abwärts führenden Leitungen (9) fluchten; und
    dass eine Feststellvorrichtung (32) vorgesehen ist, um die Höhe des Tabaks an mindestens einer abwärts führenden Leitung (9) zu bestimmen und das Steuersignal in Abhängigkeit von der Höhe des Tabaks zu erzeugen.
  5. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 4, wobei die Umschalteinrichtung (21) zwei nebeneinander liegende Ventilelemente (24) aufweist, die gemeinsam die umschaltbare Leitung (22) bestimmen und so angebracht sind, dass sie um entsprechende parallele Achsen (27) schwingen, um die schaltbare Leitung (22) zwischen den wahlweise mit den abwärts führenden Leitungen (9) fluchtenden Positionen zu schalten, und um gleichzeitig die jeweilige abwärts führende Leitungen (9), die nicht mit der schaltbaren Leitung (22) fluchtet, zu schließen.
  6. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 4 oder 5, wobei die Umschalteinrichtung (21) zwei nebeneinander liegende Ventilelemente (24) umfasst, die gemeinsam die umschaltbare Leitung (22) bestimmen und die Winkelhebel eines Gelenk-Parallelogramms (25) bilden und ausserdem eine Verbindungsstange (26) aufweisen, die die beiden Ventilelemente (24) miteinander verbindet; wobei die beiden Ventilelemente (24) so angebracht sind, dass sie durch die Antriebsvorrichtung (30) gesteuert um entsprechende parallele Achsen (27) schwingen.
  7. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 5 oder 6, wobei jedes Ventilelement (24) im Querschnitt im wesentlichen die Form eines gleichschenkeligen Dreiecks besitzt, das mit einer Spitze nach oben zeigend angebracht ist, und um die entsprechende Achse (27), die sich an der Spitze befindet, zu schwingen, wobei jedes Ventilelemente (24) auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite der Spitze durch einen zylindrischen Flächenabschnitt (29) begrenzt ist, der, wenn die Umschalteinrichtung (21) schwingt, eine zugehörige abwärts führende Leitung (9) schließt, wenn die umschaltbare Leitung (22) mit der anderen abwärts führenden Leitung (9) fluchtet.
  8. Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 4 bis 7, wobei die Feststellvorrichtung (32) für jede abwärts führende Leitung (9) zur Abgabe eines "Mininum-Höhe"-Signals der Tabakhöhe geeignet ist.
  9. Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 4 bis 8, wobei die Feststellvorrichtung (32) für jede abwärts führende Leitung (9) zur Abgabe eines "Maximum-Höhe"-Signals der Tabakhöhe geeignet ist.
