Definitions

  • the invention relates to a fuel injection system for injecting fuel into an internal combustion engine according to the preamble of the main claim.
  • the fuel injection system comprises a metal fuel rail, which communicates via at least one branch line with at least one fuel injection valve, wherein the branch line is formed as a metal tube and connected by a screw with the fuel injection valve.
  • a branch line material is easily bendable metal.
  • a metallic thin-walled bellows in the form of a bellows bellows is provided, by which a lateral offset between the starting point of the branch line is compensated at the fuel distribution line and the installation position of the fuel injection valve.
  • a disadvantage of the DE-OS 28 29 057 known fuel injection system is that the screw requires special formations of Wellrohbalgs.
  • the bellows bellows is not detachably connected to the screw connection or the fuel distributor line. A simple quick assembly of the fuel rail is difficult.
  • a pipe connection in the form of a corrugated pipe is known, which is intended to prevent or reduce the transmission of vibrations.
  • the corrugated pipe is surrounded on the outside by a casing which is surrounded on the outside by a casing which does not touch the corrugated pipe and which is rigidly connected at one end to the one pipe section.
  • the shell is sealed off from the other pipe section by a flexible seal.
  • the respective corrugation located at the end of the corrugated tube engages a form-fitting flange of a fastening nut.
  • the corrugated tube is attached to subsequent pipe sections with the fastening nut.
  • a disadvantage of the known prior art is that the arrangement is multi-part and does not allow quick, easy installation.
  • a fuel injection system wherein a bellows structural part between a base end part near a branch pipe of the pipe body of a fuel distribution line and a tip for inserting and connecting the injection valve is arranged.
  • the bellows structural member is covered with a cylindrical wire mesh body to prevent expansion deformation due to the fuel pressure.
  • the bellows structural part at its respective ends to a first end portion which is inserted into the fuel rail and a second end portion, which is different from the first end portion and is pushed onto the injection valve.
  • the fuel injection system according to the invention with the characterizing features of the main claim has the advantage that the corrugated tube is designed as a simple, universally applicable component that can be mounted by plugging.
  • the corrugated pipe according to the invention is already inserted into the inlet of the fuel manifold and is connected to this together with the fuel injection valves.
  • the corrugated pipe according to the invention is inexpensive to produce and usable for a variety of different fuel injection systems.
  • the end sections are advantageously enclosed radially outwardly by the guide sections and the guide sections have a conical insertion area.
  • the sealing means may consist of a arranged in a groove and supported against a support ring elastomer ring.
  • An elastomeric ring is held by its residual stress in an advantageous simple manner in a groove.
  • An arranged on the guide portion locking plate engages advantageously in a first corrugation of the corrugated pipe.
  • the first corrugation of the corrugated pipe is in each case at a staging of the inlet and according to the inlet section at each end portion.
  • the hold-down force for the fuel injection valve can be exerted via the corrugated tube with an appropriate design of the corrugated tube, as lateral sliding is prevented.
  • the seal is not burdened by the hold-down force.
  • Fig. 1 shows a partially sectioned view of a first embodiment of a fuel injection system 1 according to the invention in the plane of a fuel injection valve 2 and a corrugated tube 3.
  • the corrugated tube 3 is shown with a first end portion 4a of two identically shaped end portions 4a, 4b in a first guide portion 5a of an inlet. 6 introduced a fuel distribution line, not shown here.
  • the second end portion 4 b is inserted into a second guide portion 5 b, which is formed at an inlet portion 9 of the fuel injection valve 2.
  • the fuel injection valve 2 is inserted into a bore 7 of a cylinder head 8 of an internal combustion engine and shown cut in the region of the inlet section 9. Opposite the bore 7, the fuel injection valve 2 by a arranged in a groove 10 sealing ring 11 z. B. sealed elastomer.
  • a conical insertion section 12 is formed.
  • a conical insertion section 15 is also formed.
  • a step 16 of the inlet 6 is located on the first end portion 4a first corrugation 13.
  • Each of the end sections 4a, 4b is formed by a sealing ring 17 Elastomer against the respective guide portion 5a, 5b sealed.
  • the sealing ring 17 is arranged in a groove 18 and is supported by a support ring 19.
  • the corrugated tube 3 of the present fuel injection system 1 adapted to different installation conditions fuel injection systems 2 always be the same structure and is therefore inexpensive to produce as a mass fraction. It is a simple assembly by plugging possible, wherein the corrugated tube 3 is held at the inlet 6 or the inlet section 9 in the further assembly by the deformation stress of the sealing ring 17 relative to the guide portion 5a, 5b.
  • the corrugated pipe can not be plugged 3. reversed by its symmetrical structure. But it is also an asymmetrical structure or a solid connection between the fuel injector 2 and corrugated pipe 21 z. B. possible by laser welding.
  • FIG. 2 shows a further embodiment of a fuel injection system 1 according to the invention with a locking plate 20 in the same view as the corresponding fuel injection system in Fig. 1 , Corresponding components are provided with the same reference numerals.
  • a cut corrugated tube 21 has opposite to in Fig. 1 Corrugated tube shown on a smaller diameter.
  • the first end portion 4a is inserted into the first guide portion 5a of the inlet 6 of the fuel rail not shown here, and the second one End portion 4b is inserted into the second guide portion 5b of the fuel injection valve 2.
  • Each of the end sections 4a, 4b is sealed off from the respective guide section 5a, 5b by the sealing ring 17, which is arranged in the groove 18 and is supported by the support ring 19.
  • the Kraftstoffeinspritzvehtil 2 is sealed in the bore 7 of the cylinder head 8 of the internal combustion engine and through the groove 10 disposed in the sealing ring 11 made of elastomer.
