Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen gewellten Einsatz für ein Wärmetauscherrohr, der in das Wärmetauscherrohr eingefügt und mit den Wänden des Wärmetauscherrohres vorzugsweise metallisch verbunden ist, wobei der gewellte Einsatz sich abwechselnde Wellenberge (1) und Wellentäler (2), eine bestimmte Wellenhöhe (3), eine Wellenlänge (4) (Teilung) und vorzugsweise Durchbrüche (5) in den Wellenflanken (6) aufweist. Um mit geringstem Aufwand ein optimales Verhältnis der Kühlleistung zum Druckverlust zu schaffen ist erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen, dass die Wellentäler (2) eine größere Länge (7) aufweisen als die Wellenberge (1), oder umgekehrt. Eine erfindungsgemäße Alternative sieht vor, dass der einstückige Einsatz aus Abschnitten (A1, A2, A3) mit kleineren und größeren Wellenlängen (4) gebildet ist, wobei jeder Abschnitt (A) aus mehreren Wellen gleicher Wellenlänge (4) besteht. Ein erfindungsgemäßes Herstellungsverfahren für aus einem Blechband auf einer Presse gestanzten gewellten Einsatz sieht vor, dass die Vorschubgeschwindigkeit oder der Vorschub erhöht bzw. verringert wird, wobei bei verringerter Vorschubgeschwindigkeit oder Vorschub ein Abschnitt des Einsatzes mit kleinerer Wellenlänge (4) und bei erhöhter Vorschubgeschwindigkeit oder Vorschub ein Abschnitt des Einsatzes mit größerer Wellenlänge (4) entsteht.
