- the present invention relates to the authentication capacity as well as the traceability of the distribution member or more generally of the distributor using such a distribution member. It is indeed important to be able to identify without doubt the origin of the distribution organ in order to be able to quickly and easily distinguish between an authentic and an imitation or counterfeit. More particularly for traceability, it is important to be able to follow the path or the route of the distribution organ from its manufacture to its sale or its sale. It has already been known for a long time to use distinctive marks or signs affixed or integrated in the distributor or the distribution unit so as to be able to visually identify the origin of the product. However, it is very easy for a counterfeiter to imitate this mark or distinctive sign and affix it to counterfeit distributors. The object of the present invention is to remedy this aforementioned drawback of the prior art by defining a new means of virtually unfalsifiable identification of a dispensing member or of a distributor using such a member.

In the case where the pusher is covered with an overcap, for example made of metal, the identification unit can be placed and held on the overcap. Referring to FIG. 3, it can be seen that the identification unit 3 is supported by a ring 31 engaged around the body 10 just in the opening 20 under the seal 18. This is a variant of embodiment of FIG. 1, and the identification unit 3 can be simply placed or else embedded in the support ring 31. Referring to FIG. 4, it can be seen that the identification unit 3 is mounted on the neck seal 18 which for this purpose forms a receiving recess for the identification unit 3.
