Definitions

  • the invention relates to an arrangement for supplying fluid to an apparatus.
  • the invention more particularly relates to an arrangement for supplying fluid to an apparatus, in particular an ink supply device, which comprises a lower supply base comprising a filling opening communicating with at least one fluid supply duct.
  • an apparatus in particular an ink supply device, which comprises a lower supply base comprising a filling opening communicating with at least one fluid supply duct.
  • the apparatus of the type in which the fluid is packaged in an upper container having a feed opening which is adapted to be connected with the filling opening of the supply base via a fitting previously mounted on the container, and of the type comprising first axial locking means for mounting the connector on the container and second axial locking means for mounting the intermediate coupling on the base, the mounting of the connector on the base comprising a translational movement of the fitting along a vertical mounting axis and a pivoting movement of the fitting around the mounting axis.
  • EP-A-0808716 has already proposed such an arrangement for the ink supply of a machine printing.
  • This document describes in particular an ink bottle which comprises a threaded neck on which is screwed a connection plug.
  • the connection plug has a thread which allows its screwing into the tapped hole of a power base carried by the printing machine.
  • a printing machine uses several ink bottles of identical structures but each containing a different color ink. The operation of the machine provides that each base receives a bottle containing a specific color ink.
  • This mounting error then requires a stop of the machine to allow the cleaning of the ink supply circuits of the machine, which makes the machine unavailable for a significant period, causing an increase in operating costs of the machine.
  • This type of arrangement is not intended for mounting the bottle on the base by means of a connector and requires precise angular alignment of the bottle equipped with its ring relative to the grooves.
  • This arrangement is complex and does not solve the problem of matching each ink bottle of a given color with a specific base.
  • EP 523 915 shows a container mountable on a tank. A fitting is positioned between the container and the reservoir.
  • the invention also relates to a printing machine characterized in that it comprises an arrangement according to one of the preceding features.
  • the printing machine 10 comprises several printing heads 12, only one of which is shown on the figures 1 and 2 , which are for example controlled by an electronic control unit (not shown), and it comprises a base 14 for supplying ink, or pumping base, which is associated with each print head 12.
