Claims (6)

  1. Conteneur de transport et de stockage pour matières radioactives dégageant de la chaleur, en particulier des éléments combustibles de réacteur nucléaire consommés ou des coquilles de matériau vitrifié HAW (high active waste) fortement radioactif, constitué d'un corps de conteneur (2) métallique, présentant un modérateur neutronique (1), avec des éléments de fermeture associés et d'un berceau (3) disposé dans le corps de conteneur (2), lequel berceau présente des cuves de réception (4) pour les matières radioactives et des cuves vierges (5) entre les cuves de réception (4),
    au moins les cuves vierges périphériques (5) étant remplies d'un modérateur neutronique (1) au graphite et le modérateur neutronique (1), situé dans les cuves vierges (5), étant muni au moins en partie de gaines métalliques (6),
    caractérisé en ce que les gaines métalliques (6) sont vissées avec le corps de conteneur (2) ou sont fixées avec le corps de conteneur (2) par l'intermédiaire de barres de guidage vissées sur la paroi du corps de conteneur.
  2. Conteneur de transport et de stockage suivant la revendication 1, dans lequel les cuves vierges périphériques (5) sont configurées en forme de soufflet.
  3. Conteneur de transport et de stockage suivant l'une des revendications 1 et 2, dans lequel le modérateur neutronique (1) est constitué de graphite pressé.
  4. Conteneur de transport et de stockage suivant l'une des revendications 1 à 3, dans lequel le modérateur neutronique (1), situé dans les cuves vierges (5), est configuré en forme de colonne.
  5. Conteneur de transport et de stockage suivant l'une des revendications 1 à 4, dans lequel les gaines métalliques (6) sont composées de cuivre ou d'acier.
  6. Conteneur de transport et de stockage suivant l'une des revendications 1 à 5, dans lequel les espaces creux du conteneur du côté tête et/ou du côté base sont garnis de graphite.
