Definitions
- the present invention relates to an input device for an electrical device, as well as an electrical device, which has such an input device.
- Modern communication devices such as mobile radio devices or mobile telephones, tend to be getting smaller sizes, what about that leads that the display and input means, such as a keyboard that is reduced in size. This has to Consequence that a sensible haptic input of numbers or Characters is more and more restricted.
- Current solutions which is still a good one despite the reduction in housing dimensions Ensure usability of keyboards, you see Folding mechanism or sliding mechanism for opening a Keyboard (for clamshell phones) and to slide out (with slider phones).
- Such solutions have on the one hand the problem that the folding mechanism or the Sliding mechanism is prone to failure.
- the final volume of such a telephone with a folding mechanism or Sliding mechanism larger than a non-mechanical one compact variant. It is also used to achieve one quick one-handed operation required that by folding or moving compressed enclosures first with both Hands is opened.
- a field with a plurality in the input device provided by switching elements is a field with a plurality in the input device provided by switching elements.
- the switching elements advantageously arranged side by side.
- a triggering device is provided with switching elements, which is movably arranged above the field with switching elements and is designed for a position above a certain one Switching element to trigger a switching process.
- the means by providing a triggering device a plurality of switching elements it is thus possible that Field itself or the switching elements in small dimensions (e.g. as a micro keyboard), while one of one User-operated trigger device movable over the field and a switching operation at the instigation of the user with one located below the triggering device Switching element triggers.
- the Tripping device designed so that when you sweep one of the switching elements is perceptible to a user Outputs signal.
- the release device as soon as it reaches the area of a switching element or over a certain area of the switching element is moved, a user of the input device above it informed, be it by an optical, acoustic or a haptic signal. It can be distinguished whether the trigger device only in one area of a switching element or whether it is in a position is in which the user a certain switching element or a switching process represented by this can trigger.
- a Input device associated display device or on a display device with the input device connected electrical device are displayed in which Area of the field itself the triggering device or a specific one Section of this is located and it can further are displayed whether the release device is currently in a position above a switching element is one Trigger switching process in this. For example, at a movement of a trigger device over a field Switching elements, through the 12 keys for entering numbers or characters are represented, the respective character of a associated switching element on a display device are displayed, over which the release device or a certain section of this is located right now this sign then by actuating the triggering device can be selected or entered by a user.
- the Tripping device an actuating device for detecting an actuation of a user by means of which a switching operation, especially in one below the release device located switching element can be triggered.
- the switching elements for example designed as such switching elements, that respond to them by pressure, d. H. in which is triggered by pressure, a switching process, so the actuator is a pen-like or stamp-like Have element by the operation of a user a mechanical pressure on a below the release device located switching element is exercisable.
- the actuating device has a support section for hanging up a finger to detect its movement.
- the finger is only exemplary of that most commonly used body part for operating input devices shown for electrical equipment, with the bearing surface also for other parts of the body, such as toe or nose, can be trained.
- the actuating device can have an actuating section have by which upon detection of movement of the Support section, for example when moving a A user's fingers, a switching element can be actuated to trigger a switching operation.
- the actuator includes a stamp, for example, the section the actuator that with the switching element interacts as the operating section become.
- the field essentially has one flat or plate-like structure, the Switching elements arranged side by side on this structure are.
- the area around a respective one is advantageous Switching element profiled and can have at least one recess and / or include at least one increase. It is it is possible that the area around a switching element is a recess represents, the switching element itself in the bottom portion the depression is arranged (negative structure). It it is also possible that the area around the switching element as an increase is formed, the switching element itself is arranged in the apex section of the elevation (positive structure). According to a further advantageous embodiment it is possible that not the area around the switching element, but the switching element itself has a profile, and in particular includes an increase or decrease.
- This Profiles can thus be used as markings are used, depending on which of the triggering device a signal to scan over a Switch element can output to a user.
- the actuator has an actuator portion for triggering the switching process it is possible that this operating section during the movement of the release device across the field with switching elements is in contact with the field and thus that existing profile on the field or the switching elements, i.e. the changes in height on the field or the switching elements, perceives what when capturing a particular Profiles in turn an optical, acoustic or haptic Signal given to a user of the input device can be.
- the support section is advantageously located in connection with the actuating section, that the support section depending on the movement of the Actuating section actuated or set in motion will, so information regarding the just swept Profile of the field and / or a switching element on the the body part lying on the support section to the user transferred to.
- a switching element detection device for the actuating section is provided on the triggering device, which is used to detect the position of a switching element.
- This switching element detection device can be a mechanical one Sensor for detecting an above-mentioned profile structure of the field or the switching elements, they can, however, also other or further sensors, such as magnetic and / or electromagnetic and / or electrical sensors include. Sensors, like the magnetic ones just mentioned, electromagnetic or electrical sensors however, that again in addition or instead of mechanical profile structure in the area of a switching element magnetic, electromagnetic or electrical markings are present, which are recognized by the respective sensors can be.
- the switching element detection device is also advantageous here with the actuator, in particular the support section of this, connected in such a way that depending on a signal of the switching element detection device regarding a detected position of a Switching element a signal, in particular a haptic signal, by moving the support section to the user of the Input device is released.
- a signal in particular a haptic signal
- the Input device further comprise a control device, which is designed (instead of a real field or in addition to this) a virtual field with switching elements produce. Furthermore, the control device is designed to to detect the position of the release device and depending this position when swiping a virtual one Switch element to output a signal to the triggering device so that this is a user-perceivable Signal generated.
- the input device can have a first rail device, by the Guiding the release device over the field with switching elements is movable. Furthermore, the input device can be a have second rail device along which the first Rail device is movable.
- the leadership of respective rail elements in essentially vertical Directions run, so that for example with a tour the release device by the first rail device in the X direction and through the second rail device a two-dimensional movement of the release device in the Y direction (via a field with switching elements) is possible.
- the input device is an articulated device having at least one joint, wherein the triggering device by guiding the joint device is movable over the field with switching elements.
- switching elements or positions, at which a switching process can be triggered, also for to arrange a three-dimensional space can then by a joint device with at least two Joints or by a rail device with at least three rails are approached and when such is detected Position and corresponding notification to a user switching operations are triggered there.
