Description
- Die Erfindung betrifft eine Behälterbehandlungsmaschine der im Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1 genannten Art.
- Behälterbehandlungsmaschinen sind z.B. Füllmaschinen, Verschließmaschinen, Rinser und dergleichen. Bei höherer Leistung werden sie in rotierender Bauart ausgebildet, wobei die die Behälter aufnehmenden Behandlungsplätze am Umfang des Karussells angeordnet sind und umlaufend die Behälter während der Behandlung mitnehmen.
- Bei den heutigen gehobenen Ansprüchen an die Qualität der abzufüllenden Getränke bietet sich die gattungsgemäße Bauweise an, bei der die Behandlungsplätze in einem abgeschlossenen mit Sonderatmosphäre beaufschlagbaren Raum liegen. Dieser Raum kann mit Inertatmosphäre, z.B. CO2 oder mit sterilisierender Atmosphäre, H2O2 beaufschlagt werden und dadurch eine sauerstoffarme und keimarme Behandlung der Getränke sicherstellen, was für deren Abfüllqualität von vorrangiger Bedeutung ist.
- Die DE PS 696569 zeigt eine nicht gattungsgemäße Konstruktion, bei der eine Füllmaschine in einem geschlossenen topfartigen Gehäuse angeordnet ist. Der dadurch gebildete Raum wird durch die Gesamtgröße der Maschine bestimmt und ist von erheblichem Volumen.
- Die heute übliche Standardkonstruktion ergibt sich aus Rammert, Markus: Keimarme Kaltfüllung stiller Getränke. in: Getränkeindustrie 8/96, S. 500 - 505. Bild 4 auf Seite 504 zeigt die Standardkonstruktion, bei der ein Rinser-Füllerblock mit zugehörigen Transporteinrichtungen in einem durch Türen begehbaren Gehäuse von der Größe eines kleineren Einfamilienhauses untergebracht ist. Der dadurch gebildete Raum ist von erheblichem Volumen.
- Eine weitere nicht gattungsgemäße, dem gattungsgemäßen Stand der Technik jedoch nahe stehende Konstruktion zeigt die EP 0405402 A2. Bei ihr laufen die Behandlungsplätze in einem Ringtunnel, dessen Wände teilweise mit dem Karussell umlaufen. Eine umlaufende Ringleitung zur Zufuhr von Sonderatmosphäre drückt diese von oben zu den Behandlungsplätzen, wobei die Atmosphäre durch Spalte zwischen den stationären und nicht stationären Flächen entweichen soll.
- Ähnliche gattungsgemäße Konstuktionen ergibt sich aus der DE 29713155 U1 und der EP 0072354 A2. Sie unterscheiden sich von der vorgenannten Konstruktion dadurch, daß die Sonderatmosphäre an Anschlüssen in der stationären Fläche des Ringtunnels eingelassen werden, die an Winkelstellungen etwa bei 1/4 und 3/4 des Karussellumlaufes liegen. Die Sonderatmosphäre soll bei der Konstruktion der DE 29713155 U1 ebenfalls durch die Ringspalte entweichen, die EP 0072354 A2 macht dazu keine Angaben.
- Die Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung besteht darin, eine gattungsgemäße Behälterbeandlungsmaschine derart auszubilden, daß die Qualität der Sonderatmosphäre verbessert ist.
- Diese Aufgabe wird mit den Merkmalen des Patentanspruches gelöst.
- In der Zeichnung ist die Erfindung beispielsweise und schematisch dargestellt. Es zeigen:

- eine stark schematisierte Darstellung einer erfindungsgemäßen Füllmaschine im Schnitt durch deren Umlaufachse gemäß Linie 1 - 1 in Figur 2,

- Ausschnittdarstellungen aus Figur 1 mit Varianten der Tunnelausbildung.
- Figur 1 zeigt stark schematisiert, wobei Wände lediglich mit einem Strich dargestellt sind, im Schnitt durch die Rotationsachse eine Füllmaschine zum Füllen von Flaschen 1, die aus Kunststoff bestehen und den heute bei solchen Flaschen üblichen Halskragen 2 aufweisen, an dem sie gehandhabt werden.
- Die in den Figuren 1 und 2 dargestellte Füllmaschine weist einen auf dem nicht dargestellten Boden aufgestellten Rahmen 3 auf, von dem eine von einem Motor 4 gedrehte Säule 5 vertikal aufragt. An dieser ist mit einer Kreisplatte 6, an deren Stelle auch Speichen vorgesehen sein können, ein Karussell befestigt, bestehend aus einer horizontal angeordneten Ringwand 7, die am Außenrand der Kreisplatte 6 verbunden ist und im Ausführungsbeispiel integral mit dieser ausgebildet sein kann. Ferner besteht das Karussell aus einer konzentrisch zur Säule angeordneten Zylinderwand 8, die ebenfalls am Außenrand der Kreisplatte 6 ansetzt. Die Ringwand 7 und die Zylinderwand 8 sind abgedichtet miteinander verbunden und jeweils als geschlossene Wände ausgebildet.
- Die Ringwand 8 wird von mehreren Füllorganen 9 (siehe Figur 2) abgedichtet durchsetzt, von denen in Figur 1 zur zeichnerischer Vereinfachung nur die zwei in der Schnittfläche liegenden dargestellt sind. Die Füllorgane 9 ragen mit ihrem die Behälterdichtung aufweisenden Auslauf 10 unter die Ringwand 7. Ein in üblicher Ausbildung mit einer U-förmigen Ausnehmung den Hals der Flasche 1 unter deren Kragen 2 umgreifender Halter 11 ist, jedem Füllorgan zugeordnet, an der Zylindewand 8 befestigt. Durch den Auslauf 10 und den Halter 11 wird an jedem Füllorgan 9 in dem Winkel zwischen Ringwand 7 und Zylinderwand 8 ein Behandlungsplatz 12 gebildet.
- Das Karussell 7, 8 umgebend ist eine Stationärwand auf Stützen 13 stationär aufgestellt, die im Ausführungsbeispiel abgewinkelt aus Wandteilen 14, 15 und 16 besteht. Die Stationärwand 14, 15, 16 umgibt ringförmig das Karussell 7, 8 und ist an ihren ringförmigen Enden mit Ringdichtungen 17, 18 einerseits gegen den Außenrand der Ringwand 7 und andererseits gegen die Zylinderfläche 8 gleitend abgedichtet. Dadurch wird ein das Karussell 7, 8 umgebender geschlossener Tunnel 7, 8, 14, 15, 16 gebildet.
- Die Ringdichtungen 17 und 18 können als Gleitdichtungen z.B. mit Gummilippe ausgebildet sein oder beispielsweise auch als berührungslose Labyrinthdichtungen.
- Die dargestellten Behandlungsplätze 12 sind zur Aufnahme von Kunststoffflaschen mit Halskragen ausgebildet. Sie können auch für andere Behälter, z.B. Glasflaschen oder Blechdosen, ausgebildet sein und benötigen dann anstelle der Halter 11 entsprechend tiefer angeordnete Standteller, auf denen die Behälter aufgestellt werden.
- Die Zu- und Abführung der Flaschen 1 zu der in den Figuren 1 und 2 dargestellten Füllmaschine erfolgt in der üblichen Weise über einen zuführenden Transporteur 19, der auf einen mit nichdargestellten schmalen Taschen die Flaschen 1 unter ihrem Kragen 2 erfassenden Einlaufstern 20 übergibt, welcher wiederum auf die Behandlungsplätze 12 der Füllmaschine übergibt. Am Auslauf werden in entsprechender Weise die Flaschen von einem Auslaufstern 21 übernommen und auf einen abtransportierenden Transporteur 22 übergeben.
- An dieser Stelle sind bei im Ausführungsbeispiel gleichbleibendem Teil 14 die übrigen Teile 15', 16' der Stationärwand nach außen erweitert, wie dies die Figuren 1 und 2 zeigen. Die Sterne 20 und 21 sind somit in einer Erweiterung des Tunnels untergebracht, wobei die Wellen 23 der Sterne 20 und 21, wie in Figur 1 dargestellt, die Stationärwand 15' mit einer Ringdichtung 24 durchlaufen.
- Die Transporteure 19 und 22 laufen in den von den Stationärflächen umschlossenen Raum hinein bzw. hinaus. Es sind dafür nicht dargestellte Öffnungen vorgesehen, die zur Verringerung des Atmosphärenaustausches vorgesehen sind, beispielsweise mit Behälterschleusen. An dem Teil 14 der Stationärwand ist im Bereich der Sterne 20 und 21 jeweils ein Anschluß 25, 26 vorgesehen. Durch einen der Anschlüsse kann die im Raum gehaltene Sonderatmosphäre z.B. Sterilluft, CO2 bzw. H2O2 oder dergleichen eingeblasen und durch den anderen Anschluß abgesaugt werden, um die Qualität der Sonderatmosphäre dauernd aufrechtzuerhalten und Verluste auszugleichen.
- Dabei kann in dem erweiterten Raum an der Stelle der Sterne 20, 21 und zwar zwischen diesen eine Sperrwand 27 vorgesehen sein, die den Raum zwischen den Sternen abtrennt, allerdings mit Durchlässen für die Behandlungsplätze 12. Damit wird ein Kreislauf zwischen den Anschlüssen 25 und 26 um den Tunnel herum erzwungen.
- Ist der dargestellten Füllmaschine eine Verschließmaschine nachgeordnet, so kann diese mit einem Ringraum entsprechender Konstruktion ausgebildet sein, wobei beispielsweise der abtransportierende Transporteur 22 der dargestellten Füllmaschine den zutransportierenden Transporteur 19 der nachgeschalteten Maschine bildet und diese mit den Stationärwänden unmittelbar aneinander angeordnet sein können.
- Die Figuren 3 und 4 zeigen Varianten der Tunnelraumausbildung zur Aufnahme der Behandlungsplätze 12. Es sind dieselben Bezugszeichen, wie in den Figuren 1 und 2 verwendet.
- Figur 3 zeigt ein Karussell bei dem die Zylinderwand 8 der Ausführungsform der Figur 1 fehlt. Der Tunnel um die Behandlungsplätze 12 wird durch eine Stationärwand mit Wandflächen 14, 15 und 16 gebildet, die mit den Ringdichtungen 17 und 18 unmittelbar von unten gegen die Ringwand 7 abdichten.
- In Figur 4 fehlt die Ringwand 7. Die Zylinderwand 8 bildet hier die Umfangswand eines Kessels mit am Umfang angeflanschten Füllorganen 9. Die Stationärwände 14, 15 und 16 dichten mit den Ringdichtungen 17 und 18 auf der Zylinderwand 8.
- Es sind weitere nicht dargestellte Varianten der Tunnelausbildung möglich.
Claims (1)
- Rotierende Behandlungsmaschine für Getränkebehälter (1), mit einem um eine vertikale Achse (5) umlaufenden Karussell (7, 8) mit umfangsbeabstandeten Behandlungsplätzen (12) zur Aufnahme der Behälter, wobei die Behandlungsplätze in einem mit Sonderatmosphäre beaufschlagbaren abgeschlossenen Raum angeordnet sind, in dem Ein- und Auslaufsterne (20, 21) angeordnet sind und dessen stationäre Flächen (14, 15, 16) von benachbarten Ein- und Ausgabetransporteuren (19, 22) durchlaufen sind, wobei der Raum als das Karussell (7, 8) umlaufender Ringtunnel (7, 8, 14, 15, 16) ausgebildet ist, der von geschlossenen Flächen (7, 8) des Karussells einerseits und von den stationären Flächen (14, 15, 16) andererseits umschlossen ist, wobei die den Tunnel bildenden Karussellflächen und Stationärflächen über zwei zur Achse (5) konzentrische Dichtungen (17, 18) aufeinander dichten und wobei in der stationären Fläche (14) zwei Anschlüsse (25,26) zur Führung von Sonderatmosphäre angeordnet sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein Anschluß (25) im Bereich des Einlaufsternes (20) angeordnet ist und der andere Anschluß (26) im Bereich des Auslaufsternes (21) angeordnet ist, wobei, zur Erzwingung eines Kreislaufes zwischen den Anschlüssen (25,26) um den Ringtunnel (7,8,14,15,16) herum, zwischen den Sternen (20, 21) eine den Ringtunnel (7,8,14,15',16') abtrennende Sperrwand (27) mit Durchlässen für die Behandlungsplätze (12) angeordnet ist.
