Claims (12)

  1. Container, in particular insulated container,
    a) comprising a housing (3) which can be locked by means of a door (5) connected to the housing,
    b) the door (5) being connected, in an upper and a lower region, to the housing, and having a locking device (9), which comprises an actuation element (12) by means of which it can be transferred from an unlocked position into a locked position and vice versa,
    characterised
    c) in that the locking device (9) comprises at least two locking elements (13) which lock the door (5) to the housing (3), on the side on which the door is connected to the housing (3) and on the opposite side,
    d) in that the relevant locking element (13) locks the door in the region between the connections to the housing (3),
    e) in that the actuation element (12) is formed as a lever connected to a rotatable shaft (11), the shaft (11) extending into the regions of the opposing side of the door (5), which side can be locked to the housing (3), and driving the at least two locking elements (13),
    f) in that at least a further locking element (23) is driven by means of the rotatable shaft (11) or by means of the rotatably formed locking elements (13), and
    g) in that the at least one further locking element (23) is formed as a driving rod, which is connected eccentrically to the rotatable shaft (11).
  2. Container according to claim 1, characterised in that the relevant locking element (13) locks the door in the centre of the region between the connections to the housing.
  3. Container according to either claim 1 or claim 2, characterised in that the actuation element (12) is formed as a lever, which is articulated to a rotatable shaft (11).
  4. Container according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the actuation element (12), in the locked position and/or in the unlocked position, is received substantially completely in a recess (14) in the upper side of the door (5) and thus does not project, or projects only negligibly, over the upper surface of the door.
  5. Container according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the at least two locking elements (13) are rotationally engaged with the rotatable shaft (11) and, upon rotation of the shaft (11), cooperate with complementary locking elements (17), which are arranged in the housing (3), to lock and unlock the door (5).
  6. Container according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the at least one further locking element (23), formed as a driving rod, is connected eccentrically to one of the locking elements (13).
  7. Container according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the free end of the driving rod (23) projects, in the locked position, over the relevant outer edge of the door (5) and engages in a receiving element (25) arranged in or on the housing (3), or in a receiving region formed in or on the housing.
  8. Container according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that a blocking device (29) is provided, which, when the door (15) is unlocked and opened, blocks the locking device (9) from being actuated, which would transfer said device into the locked position.
  9. Container according to claim 8, characterised in that the blocking device (29) comprises a spring-loaded blocking element (31), which, after the transferral of the at least two locking elements (13; 23) into the unlocked position and the opening of the door (5), is automatically brought into a position blocking the movement of the actuation element (12) or of the at least two locking elements (13; 23).
  10. Container according to claim 9, insofar as this is in reference to either claim 6 or claim 7, characterised in that the blocking element (31) is formed as a bolt, which, in the blocking position, blocks the movement of the free end of the driving rod (23).
  11. Container according to either claim 9 or claim 10, characterised in that the blocking device (29) comprises a release element (25), which is provided on the housing (3) and cooperates with the blocking element (31) in such a way that the blocking element (31) is transferred into a non-blocking position as soon as the door (5) attains less than a predetermined minimum angle of opening.
  12. Container according to claim 11, characterised in that the blocking element (31) has a guidance stop (31a), which cooperates with a guidance surface (25a) of the release element (25), which surface causes the release motion of the blocking element (31).
