Definitions
- the present invention relates to a sliding closure for a cover flap of a storage space in a vehicle.
- Such storage spaces are located for example in walls of the vehicle, such as in the side walls of the trunk area.
- a storage space is usually closed by a cover flap which is pivotally mounted by means of a hinge or by a simple pin connection to a wall of the storage space.
- the cover flap is held in its closed position by a hinged or sliding closure which can be manually unlocked to move the cover flap to its open position.
- the present invention has for its object to provide a sliding closure for a cover of a storage space in a vehicle, which requires the least possible manufacturing and assembly costs and can be operated in a simple manner. It should also be ensured that no Rattling noises occur during operation of the vehicle.
- the sliding closure consists of a closure part with a handle portion for actuating the sliding closure, a latch which is connected to the handle portion, and a flange which is integrally formed on the handle portion and can serve as a symbol surface, and an elastically deformable Spring part which is integrally formed with one end on the closure part and with an opposite free end on the cover flap is fixed supportable.
- the closure member and the spring member are formed as one-piece component, which is guided in the mounted state within an opening of the cover by sliding contact of the flange on one side of the cover and resilient support of the bolt and the spring member on the other side of the cover without play so that the closure member is longitudinally displaceable with a corresponding deformation of the spring member relative to the stationary support of the spring member in a thrust direction, between a closed position in which engages the latch behind a retaining tongue on a stationary wall of the storage space, and an open position in which the bolt to Opening the cover on the retaining tongue is moved past.
- the spring member is biased in the assembled state so that it biases the closure part in the closed position
- the handle portion is formed as a recessed grip with an undercut for ease of gripping with one hand fingers
- the handle portion and the latch are connected by a longitudinal connecting portion on which the spring part is formed.
- the connecting portion consists of a parallel to the flange, spaced from the handle recess wall and a perpendicular thereto, arranged between the wall and the recessed grip web, which are integrally formed with their front ends on the locking portion and with their rear ends on the back of the handle portion ,
- the inventively designed sliding closure thus consists of a one-piece component, which is expediently designed as a casting of an impact-resistant elastic plastic.
- the sliding closure can thus be produced in a simple manner by injection molding, so that the sliding closure is suitable for mass production.
- the sliding closure can be inserted into the opening of the cover either directly or through a separate frame. In any case, no separate fasteners for mounting the slide fastener on the cover are required. The assembly effort is therefore correspondingly low.
- the sliding closure can be opened by a simple manual sliding movement.
- the grip portion is formed as a recessed grip with an undercut for easier gripping with fingers of one hand.
- the handle portion thus allows not only an operation of the sliding closure, but also a pivoting of the cover flap. The closing of the sliding closure takes place automatically when the cover flap is closed.
- a storage space which is bounded by walls 4 and has an access opening 5.
- This is, for example, a storage space in a side wall of a motor vehicle in the trunk area, but the present invention is not limited thereto.
- the access opening 5 of the storage space 2 is associated with a cover flap 8 which is pivotable about an axis of rotation (not shown) at one end (see the opposing arrows in FIG Fig. 2 ) and in its closed position with an angled end 10 on the wall 4 is applied so that the cover flap 8 to a retaining tongue 6 on the wall 4 has a predetermined distance (see FIG. 1 ).
- a sliding closure 14 is provided, which is inserted into an opening 12 of the cover 8. More specifically, the sliding shutter 14 is inserted into an opening 18 of a frame 16, which in turn is inserted into the opening 12 of the cover flap 8.
- the sliding closure 14 consists of a one-piece component, which in the Figures 1 and 2 in his in the cover flap 8 installed state and in the FIGS. 3 to 6 is shown in its disassembled state.
- the sliding closure 14 in the form of the one-piece component consists of an impact-resistant elastic plastic and is produced for example by injection molding.
- the plastic must have sufficient elastic properties to provide resilient action to some of the parts of the slide fastener 14, as will be explained in more detail below.
- the one-piece plastic part of the sliding closure 14 is composed of several thin-walled sections, which will now be discussed in more detail.
- the sliding closure 14 consists of a closure part 20 and a spring part 22 formed thereon (see in particular FIG. 3 ).
- the closure part 20 consists of a grip portion 24, a flange 26, a connecting portion 28 and a bolt 30.
- the handle portion 24 is formed as a bowl-shaped recessed grip, the open side of the circumferential flange 26 (see also FIG. 4 ) is surrounded.
- the recessed grip is provided with an undercut 25, so that the fingers of one hand can reach into the recessed grip and in this case can exert a force on the grip section 24 both parallel to the plane of the flange 26 and perpendicular thereto.
- the shape and size of the recessed grip can be designed differently depending on your needs.
- the recessed flange surrounding the recessed grip 26 can serve as a symbol surface into which a corresponding symbol for objects to be accommodated in the storage space 2 can be introduced.
- the latch 30 is connected to the handle portion 24 by the connecting portion 28, which is integrally formed on the back of the handle portion 24 and extends therefrom substantially parallel to the plane of the flange 26.
- the latch 30 consists of an arcuately curved locking portion 32 and an integrally formed thereon free end portion 34 which extends substantially transverse to the plane of the flange 26.
- the locking portion 32 is provided on opposite sides with inclined surfaces 36 and 38, the cam when sliding the cover 8 like a cam slide along the retaining tongue 6, as will be explained in more detail.

- the spring member 22 consists of a spring leaf which is integrally formed at its front end to the wall 40 of the connecting portion 28 and angled relative to the wall 40 and the rear end 43 is exposed and has a predetermined distance from the flange 26.
- the spring leaf of the spring member 22 consists of a first leg 44, which merges into the wall 40 of the connecting portion 28, and a second leg 46 which is connected to the first leg 44 by a radius.
- the second leg 46 of the spring member 22 is in the region of its free end 43 with two wedge-shaped lugs 48 (see also FIG. 5 ), by means of which the spring member 22 at the rear end of the opening 18 of the frame 16 can be fixedly supported and centered in the opening 18 of the frame 16 (see Figures 1 and 2 ).
- reinforcing ribs 49 may be provided (see also the FIGS. 5 and 6 ).
- the legs 44 and 46 of the spring member 22 are inclined at different angles to the plane of the wall 40.
- the leg 44 encloses an angle of, for example, about 20 ° with the wall 40
- the leg 46 for example, forms an angle of about 70 ° with the plane of the wall 40.
- the purpose of this design of the spring member 22 will be explained in more detail below.
- the leg 44 has a greater wall thickness than the leg 46. More specifically, the leg 44 has a wall thickness at the transition point between the leg 44 and the connecting portion 28th is largest and decreases evenly in the direction of the leg 46, as in FIG. 3 is indicated. As an alternative or additional measure, the width of the leg 46 in the direction of the free end 43 towards smaller, which is off FIG. 5 evident.
- the sliding closure 14 is inserted into the opening 18 of the frame 16, the flange 26 rests against an outer surface of the frame 16.
- the rear end 43 of the spring part 22 by means of the projections 48 is supported in a stationary manner.
- the free end portion 34 of the bolt 30 slidably abuts the inner surface of the frame 16.
- the spring member 22 and the bolt 30 are biased so that the closure member 14 is resiliently supported on the cover flap 8, namely at the front end on the bolt 30 and at the rear end on the spring member 22 by the abutment of the flange 26 on a Side of the cover flap 8 and the resilient support of the bolt 30 and the spring member 22 on the other side of the cover 8 creates a play-free guidance of the closure member 20, so that the closure member 20 including the flange 26, connecting portion 28 and bolt 30 has a sliding longitudinal displacement relative to the stationary support of the rear end 43 of the spring member 22 can perform, as in particular from a comparison of Figures 1 and 2 evident.
- the resilient support over the Latch 30 and the spring member 22 also allows compensation of manufacturing tolerances of the wall thickness of the cover flap 8 and the frame 16th
- This three-point guide consists of two lateral guide projections 50 which are provided on the outer sides of the handle portion 24 in the region of the opening 18 (see FIGS. 5 and 6 ), and a central guide bar 52, which is arranged at the front end of the handle portion 24 in the transition region between the handle portion 24 and the flange 26.
- the guide web 52 is guided in a guide groove 54 which is provided in the region of the front edge of the frame 16 (see FIG. 7 ).
- the central guide web 52 serves as a stop limit for longitudinal displacements of the closure member 20 in the direction of the closed position ( FIG. 1 ).
- a central stop rib 56 at the rear end of the handle portion 24 in the transition region between the handle portion 24 and the flange 26 serves as a stop limit for longitudinal displacements of the closure part 20 in the opposite direction, ie in the direction of the open position ( FIG. 2 ).
- the frame 16 which is in the FIGS. 7 to 9 is shown in detail, is formed as a one-piece component, which may consist of the same plastic as the sliding closure 14.
- the frame 16 is composed of a flange 60 and a perpendicular thereto web 62 which surround the opening 18.
- the web 62 is inserted into the opening 12 of the cover 8, wherein the frame 16 is held in the cover flap 8 solely by a snap connection.
- the snap connection consists of two hooks 64, which are arranged in the region of the rear end of the frame 16 on opposite sides, and a resilient latching bar 66 which is elastically connected at the front end of the frame 16 via two spring legs 68 with the web 62.
- the spring legs 68 are integrally formed on two web portions 72 extending from the web 62 in the longitudinal direction run.
- the guide groove 54 at the front end of the frame 16 is formed by a U-shaped leg portion 74, which is also integrally formed on the web 62.
- the size of the frame 60 is sized so that the frame 16 can be snapped (clipped) into the opening 12 of the cover 8.
- the outline of the opening 12 is indicated by dotted lines in FIG. 10 shown. As can be seen, it is a rectangular opening, the length of which is of a similar order of magnitude as their width, that is, for example, around a square opening.
- nubs 70 are formed on the outer sides of the web 62 in the region of the lateral edges of the opening, which can be pressed into the opening 12.
- the knobs 70 in this case also ensure a compensation of manufacturing tolerances between the opening 12 and the frame 16.
- the frame 16 In order to mount the frame 16 in the opening 12 of the cover flap 8, the frame 16 is inserted with the locking bar 66 ahead in the front end of the opening 12 of the cover 8 and then clipped over a corresponding manual pressure at the rear end with the hooks 64 ""(see the FIGS. 11 and 12 ).
- inclined surfaces 76 on the hooks 64 facilitate the insertion of the frame 16 into the opening 12.
- the arrows in FIG. 11 illustrate this Einklipsterrorism the rear end of the frame 16th

- the spring member 22 is elastically deformed so that the lugs 48 on the frame 16 can slide past in their support position.
- the latch 30 is elastically deformed so that the free end portion 34 of the bolt 30 slides over the inner edge of the web 62 of the frame 16 until it rests resiliently on the inner surface of the frame 16. More specifically, the free end portion 34 of the bolt 30 rests on the web portions 72 as well as the web portion 74 forming the guide groove 54.
- the movements to be performed during assembly of the sliding closure 14 are indicated by corresponding arrows in FIG FIG. 13 illustrated.
- the arrows in FIG. 14 on the spring member 22 and the bolt 30 show the direction of action of the respective elastically biased elements.
- the frame 16 is not essential for mounting the sliding closure 14. It is used, for example, when the surface of the cover flap 8, which may be covered with felt, does not have sufficient slipperiness to allow proper functioning of the slide fastener.
- the plastic combination between the frame 16 and the sliding closure 14 then provides for improved sliding behavior. Also, for aesthetic reasons, a frame around the sliding closure may be desired.
- the sliding shutter 14 can be mounted directly in the opening 12 of the cover flap 8. This is in FIG. 15 illustrated. It is understood that in this case the opening 12 in shape and size must be designed so that it permits a corresponding mounting of the sliding closure 14. In particular, a guide groove 54 for receiving the guide web 52 must be provided at the front edge of the opening 12.
- the closure member 20 is slid longitudinally relative to the stationary support of the spring member 22 with fingers of one hand engaged in the grip portion 24.

Description
The present invention relates to a sliding closure for a cover flap of a storage space in a vehicle.
Such storage spaces are located for example in walls of the vehicle, such as in the side walls of the trunk area. Such a storage space is usually closed by a cover flap which is pivotally mounted by means of a hinge or by a simple pin connection to a wall of the storage space. The cover flap is held in its closed position by a hinged or sliding closure which can be manually unlocked to move the cover flap to its open position.
There are numerous different embodiments of such rotary or sliding closures known. Usually, they consist of several individual parts, which makes their production correspondingly expensive. In addition, it is generally necessary to attach a fitting part of the slide fastener on the cover flap by separate fasteners, so that the mounting of the slide fastener on the cover requires a corresponding installation effort. Often, at least some parts of the slide fastener are made of metal, which is somewhat disadvantageous in terms of manufacturing cost, overall weight and disposal. Also, some known closures in their handling and operation are somewhat cumbersome.
The present invention has for its object to provide a sliding closure for a cover of a storage space in a vehicle, which requires the least possible manufacturing and assembly costs and can be operated in a simple manner. It should also be ensured that no Rattling noises occur during operation of the vehicle.
This object is achieved by the sliding closure defined in claim 1.
According to the invention the sliding closure consists of a closure part with a handle portion for actuating the sliding closure, a latch which is connected to the handle portion, and a flange which is integrally formed on the handle portion and can serve as a symbol surface, and an elastically deformable Spring part which is integrally formed with one end on the closure part and with an opposite free end on the cover flap is fixed supportable. The closure member and the spring member are formed as one-piece component, which is guided in the mounted state within an opening of the cover by sliding contact of the flange on one side of the cover and resilient support of the bolt and the spring member on the other side of the cover without play so that the closure member is longitudinally displaceable with a corresponding deformation of the spring member relative to the stationary support of the spring member in a thrust direction, between a closed position in which engages the latch behind a retaining tongue on a stationary wall of the storage space, and an open position in which the bolt to Opening the cover on the retaining tongue is moved past.
The spring member is biased in the assembled state so that it biases the closure part in the closed position, the handle portion is formed as a recessed grip with an undercut for ease of gripping with one hand fingers, and the handle portion and the latch are connected by a longitudinal connecting portion on which the spring part is formed. According to the invention, the connecting portion consists of a parallel to the flange, spaced from the handle recess wall and a perpendicular thereto, arranged between the wall and the recessed grip web, which are integrally formed with their front ends on the locking portion and with their rear ends on the back of the handle portion ,
The inventively designed sliding closure thus consists of a one-piece component, which is expediently designed as a casting of an impact-resistant elastic plastic. The sliding closure can thus be produced in a simple manner by injection molding, so that the sliding closure is suitable for mass production. Here, the sliding closure can be inserted into the opening of the cover either directly or through a separate frame. In any case, no separate fasteners for mounting the slide fastener on the cover are required. The assembly effort is therefore correspondingly low.
Furthermore, the sliding closure can be opened by a simple manual sliding movement. Here, the grip portion is formed as a recessed grip with an undercut for easier gripping with fingers of one hand. The handle portion thus allows not only an operation of the sliding closure, but also a pivoting of the cover flap. The closing of the sliding closure takes place automatically when the cover flap is closed.
Further advantageous embodiments of the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims.

The recessed flange surrounding the recessed
The connecting

The
