Definitions
- the invention relates to a push-pull switch with an intermediate Switching positions adjustable swivel lever, which by pressure and after Intervention in an engagement space can also be actuated by train.
- Such push-pull switches are generally known and are used for example in motor vehicles. With these known switches the swivel lever is used, for example, to switch between one pressed, neutral and extended switching position to a side window to open or close the motor vehicle. At a such switch is switched one position by train, the user by intervening in the engagement space the switch in the pulling direction can operate.
- a disadvantage of such switches is that dust, Dirt or other foreign matter on the switch, in the intervention area and can accumulate especially under the pivot lever, resulting in a Malfunction of the switch.
- the invention has for its object an improved push-pull switch to create of the type mentioned, in which the problem of Accumulation of foreign substances in the intervention area and under the Swivel lever is eliminated.
- the push-pull switch according to the invention has the advantage that in addition a protective cover is provided for the swivel lever, through which the engaging space is engaged in to operate the switch is covered to the outside. This prevents Dust, dirt or other foreign matter penetrate under the swivel lever can and the functional mobility of the swivel lever remains intact. This makes the switch function reliably guaranteed.
- Another advantage of the push-pull switch according to the invention is in that, for example, in the event of glass breakage in a motor vehicle, small pieces of broken glass under the pivot lever could fall and block its operation. By providing the Protective cover prevents this, so in such an emergency situation the possibly life-saving function of the switch is maintained preserved.
- the protective cover can be pivoted, in particular, continuously about a pivot axis. This ensures on the one hand that in a neutral Switch position of the engagement space of the switch are released in this way can that the swivel lever after engaging in the engagement space too can be operated by train. On the other hand, this becomes a very the protective cover is easily attached to the swivel axis, without the need for additional fasteners.
- the protective cover can be designed in particular as a flap.
- Another preferred embodiment of the invention is distinguished characterized in that in a neutral switching position of the pivot lever and in a basic position of the protective cover the surfaces of the Protective cover and the pivot lever essentially aligned are arranged. This can be achieved essentially uniform, visually appealing surface is present compact design conveys.
- the switch can have a reset element, that forces the protective cover into a basic position.
- the protective cover is moved from its basic position into the intervention area swung.
- the reset element enables an independent
- the protective cover can be swiveled back into the basic position and can can be realized in a simple manner, in particular by means of a spring.
- the Protective cover in the basic position and a stop have a movement of the protective cover in the basic position limited. This ensures that the protective cover take a force-loaded, stable basic position and at Can not swing back beyond the basic position.
- the pivot lever has a first leg and comprises a second leg, the leg at least one Enclose part of the intervention area and between the two Legs an engaging recess is formed.
- the second leg can an essentially similar shape and size to the first leg have. It is also advantageous if both legs form a structural unit.
- the engagement recess is preferably shaped such that, for example a finger of an intervening person at least partially in the engagement recess can intervene and operate the switch by pulling.
- the switch can be operated ergonomically Protective cover, especially its surface, one of a level Training have a different shape.
- At least one neutral switching position of the swivel lever and in a basic position the protective cover, the surfaces of the pivot lever and the Protective cover in the transition area between the swivel lever and the protective cover are designed to form a key depression.
- the switch is felt without eye contact can be.
- this enables the gaze to be seen during remain directed towards the road or vehicle instruments can.
- the protective cover have a lighting device, in particular an LED.
- the Lighting device according to the invention allows the switch and to illuminate the room in front of and / or around the switch, for example finding the push-pull switch quickly in the dark to enable within a motor vehicle.
- the push-pull switch 10 shown in Fig. 1 comprises a pivot lever 12, a protective cover 14 and two external, parallel Pivot axes 16, 18 which are arranged in a housing 20.
- the Housing 20 can be in a recess of a control panel of a motor vehicle be used.
- the pivot lever 12 is in a neutral switching position and the protective cover 14 is shown in a basic position, wherein the pivot lever 12 and the protective cover 14 an engagement space 22 cover to the outside.
- FIG. 2 shows a schematic side view of the push-pull switch 10 1, the housing 20 is not shown and a series additional components of the switch 10 are shown.
- the pivot lever 12 has a first leg 24 and a second Leg 26 on, the two legs 24, 26 in one piece made of plastic are shaped and form a structural unit.
- the two legs 24, 26 have a similar shape and size.
- One between the two Legs 24, 26 located engaging recess 28 is substantially V-shaped designed and rounded in the area of the trough bottom, and offers an ergonomically good fit for the finger on the switch 10 actuating person.
- the protective cover 14 is next to the pivot lever 12 and Swivel lever 12 arranged overlapping, so that both together the Engagement space 22, which is at least partially through the legs 24, 26 of the pivot lever 12 is enclosed, cover to the outside. That the Swivel lever 12 facing, seen in cross section tapering End of the protective cover 14 has a slope 30, which is front end of the first leg 24 slightly above the slope 30 extends so that the first leg 24 of the pivot lever 12 and the Overlap protective cover 14.
- Both the protective cover 14 and the pivot lever 12 are formed such that their surfaces are each slightly convex have a curved shape, but otherwise essentially in alignment are arranged to each other. Due to the convex shape of the Protective cover 14 and the pivot lever 12 form the surfaces of the pivot lever 12 and the protective cover 14 in the transition area between the pivot lever 12 and the protective cover 14, a key depression 32 out.
- the pivot lever 12 is between the first pivot axis 16 pulled out and a pressed switch position up and pivotable below.
- the pivot lever 12 operated in the pulled out and pressed switching position several electrical contacts 34, 36 that a specific function, such as closing or Opening a side window of a motor vehicle are assigned.
- the protective cover 14 is out of its basic position by pressing pivotable downwards about the second pivot axis 18.
- the Force action of a restoring element 38 in the form of one in the basic position the protective cover 14 biased spring is the down directed swiveling movement opposite.
- the protective cover 14 is connected to a web 40, the movement of the Protective cover 14 in the basic position by striking one limited stop 42 fixed to the housing.
- the protective cover 14 is provided with a lighting device 44, which is integrated in the protective cover 14.
- the lighting device 44 can be an LED or any other lighting device to be through a transparent area, not shown the protective cover 14 at least the protective cover 14 and / or to illuminate the pivot lever 12.
- the pivot lever 12 Before actuating the switch 10, the pivot lever 12 is in the 3a shown neutral switching position.
- the protective cover 14 is in its basic position, which is selected such that the surfaces the protective cover 14 and the pivot lever 12 substantially are aligned.
- the basic position of the protective cover 14 is determined by the stop 42, which the movement of the means of Spring 38 in the basic position biased protective cover 14 in the Basic position limited.
- the engagement space becomes by the pivoting-out movement of the protective cover 14 22 released so that the finger of the person engaging in the engagement trough 28 can engage.
- the pivot lever 12 is pulled by the Fingers of the person engaging around the first pivot axis 16 upwards pivoted, as illustrated by an arrow 48 in Fig. 3c.
- the Swivel lever 12 actuates the in the pulled-out switching position first electrical contact 34, for example the closing of a Side window of a motor vehicle is assigned.
- the pivot lever 12 In order to actuate the push-pull switch 10 by pushing, the finger the person operating the switch 10 placed in the key depression 32, the pivot lever 12 is pressurized from above and around the first Swivel axis 16 pivoted downwards. The pivot lever 12 is actuated in the pressed switching position the second electrical contact 36, the for example opening a side window of a motor vehicle assigned.
