Claims (4)

  1. Procédé pour le traitement de surfaces métalliques, choisies parmi les surfaces en acier, en acier galvanisé, en acier avec un dépôt d'alliage, en aluminium ou en magnésium ou en alliages d'aluminium ou de magnésium, caractérisé en ce qu'on met en contact les surfaces métalliques, pendant qu'elles sont soumises à un traitement de conversion, avec un agent qui contient au moins un fluoroacide d'un ou de plusieurs éléments du groupe constitué par Zr, Ti, Hf et Si ou à chaque fois leurs anions ainsi qu'un homopolymère ou un copolymère de la vinylpyrrolidone, cet agent se trouvant sous forme d'une solution d'utilisation prête à l'emploi, qui n'est pas une solution de phosphatation et qui contient
    a) 0,02 à 20 g/l d'au moins un fluoroacide d'un ou de plusieurs éléments du groupe constitué par Zr, Ti, Hf et Si ou à chaque fois leurs anions ainsi que
    b) 10 à 49,9 mg/l d'un homopolymère ou d'un copolymère de la vinylpyrrolidone.
  2. Procédé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que l'agent est exempt de nickel et de chrome.
  3. Procédé selon l'une ou les deux revendications 1 et 2, caractérisé en ce que l'homopolymère ou le copolymère de la vinylpyrrolidone contient des groupes caprolactame.
  4. Procédé selon l'une ou plusieurs des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce qu'on soumet la surface métallique à un décapage acide avant de la mettre en contact avec un agent selon l'une ou plusieurs des revendications 1 à 3.
